Cons:Under major renovation. Remote parking for $11/day. Room smelled. Beds sprung. Carpet soiled. Hallways choked with debris. Hookers working outside the place. The pictures on the web are artist renderings of post construction.

Pros:Bed was relatively comfy (although the pillows weren't), staff wasn't overly-friendly but was still helpful. Good location close to the Green Line Station. Shuttle from LAX was useful. My room (and honestly I thought the whole place) was pretty clean overall, the housekeepers actually insisted on cleaning my room (which got a bit annoying though because I didn't want them too since I had my laptop alone in the room). Doesn't have amenities like a fridge or microwave, but I say that's forgivable because of the price. Overall was nice and fairly relaxing, was good for the price, and I enjoyed my stay.
Cons:Pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The pool area was closed for renovations.

Pros:My reservation indicated a room with a balcony or patio but there were none, also it should have had a garden or pool view but the only view it had was a back ally and a dumpster ! Filthy carpets and smelly hallways. Parking is across the street behind a dark ally and a gas station and they also charge $11 extra per car per day. Staff's explanation: come back after the renovations!!! I do not recommend this place.

Pros:The facilities were old, but charming and functional. It has a quiet bar with dance lessons and alively dance floor. The cafee was a perfect mom and pop joint. For the money, it was a bargain; clean linens and a comfortable bed. I would stay there again unless I were trying to impress someone pompous.
