The staff were excellent rooms very clean access off the interstate was very convienent Did not get a good nights sleep due to the constant truck noise off the interstate.
The breakfast was fantastic! Rooms were very clean, and very comfy. Check out time was 3pm, would liked to have checked in when we got there at 1. It wasnt a big deal but would have been nice if we would have known the check in time ahead of time. Not enough towels on the pool area.
The staff were very kind, and the rooms so very nice. I've never been to a hotel that smelled do pristine.
Very clean. Staff was very friendly. I was beyond impressed. They also offered a fantastic breakfast. Pool could have been a little bigger
Great staff Room could have been cleaner. The sheets on one bed had a hair and the shower had some mold.
Friendly staff VERY THIN WALLS !!!!
A clean, well maintained hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast should include more fresh fruit. In-room A/C unit was very loud.
Very affordable/high value! Rooms are small but tidy. Towels were perfectly clean. Breakfast is very good; make-your-own waffle, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, bagels, yogurt, and cereal, juice, and coffee - all included! The "gym" is just a broken treadmill and a working elliptical. Very close to Mill Creek Marketplace and close to Presque Isle. Fitness Center is just a broken treadmill and a functional elliptical.
-great location. Right by a gas station -easy to find -pet friendly. Pet rates are affordable -hot breakfast was filling. They has eggs, sausage and waffles -friendly staff -non smoking hallway reeked of cigarettes -Tiny rooms. Hard to move around when you have a baby with you -rooms were musty -AC was blasting. If you turned it up to make the room warner then it got too hot -slow elevators. It's easier and quicker to take the stairs
Clean. Friendly staff.
Location, price Breakfast
Breakfast was good. Carpet was dirty and bathtub was clogged. Yuk
The hotel is conveniently located close to the freeway, shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The rooms are a little dated and room very noisy due to doors slamming and other guests talking on the hallway.
We stayed here before a college visit to Edinboro University. The hotel was easy to get to and our room was ready when we arrived. The front desk was very friendly. It was very helpful that the Hampton provided breakfast - one of the reasons we choose them. The price was great and I would definitely stay here again. The hotel was close enough to the highway that you could hear trucks at night. I would recommend getting a room on opposite side of hotel from highway. In addition, our room window would not shut completely so we also had an issue with a "whistling" sound during the night. The size of the beds was listed as queen but they seemed a little smaller than that. Not sure if the bed size listed was accurate.
Convenient to splush Lagoon water park. Easy to access to room.
Clean, comfortable and convenient with friendly staff and wholesome breakfast N/A
Everything! This hotel is new and fabulous! It is incredibly clean and trendy, the staff has been wonderful. My husband and I didn't know the breakfast time and slept through. The girl at the desk Alexis did not hesitate to get us breakfast anyway, and she did it without us asking. We extended our stay by two days because we could not leave yet!! The beds are beyond comfy with the best sheets and pillows ever. We booked two queen beds and our sleep has been amazing. The suite kitchen is beautiful and the room is large. The tv is hd and big as well. The bathroom is so clean and the shower fits two. The hotel is green and lovely. And all appliances are stainless steel and great brands. This place is wonderful and we will DEF be back. Everything was wonderful.
New hotel, roomy & bed was very comfy. Will book again.
Clean, spacious, and modern room. Loved the full side refrigerator. We were iin a room right above the pool. Definitely avoid those rooms. It's loud in general. But, the person at the front desk allowed a group of kids in the pool @ 3:30 in the morning and they woke us up. The breakfast setup was weird. It was a crowded setup and made it difficult to get my breakfast ready.
For almost $200 per night I expected a comfortable bed. He beds and pillows were rock hard.
We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the bed was comfortable. It was central so there was so much to do outside the hotel. The overall hotel room needed updated. There was paper pealing off corners and the overall look wasn't great. The spa tub shouldn't be considered two people and there was only two jets and many rules and instructions with the tub. There was a huge spider in the shower and the mini fridge wasn't very efficient. The pool was open until midnight but there were so many children there that it wasn't relaxing. If you are looking for a romantic weekend, this might not be the place. there was a water bottle sitting there that was $3.25 and if we drank it we would be charged. After all the money that was spent, you'd think they would give you a complimentary bottle of water. We simply went across the street to Walmart and bought a gallon of water for less. It wasn't anything special. Just a basic hotel. We won't be staying again for that price. We could have stayed somewhere much better for less money. Other than the friendly staff and how central it was, it wasn't worth it. It was a big disappointment.
Location - close to main road and shopping Staff weren't overly friendly, only one out of many we ran into greeted us. Room was musty, water was like warm for shower. No breakfast included and paid $189 cad. Just overall we could have went to a budget motel for same experience. The Baymont down the road was incredible all around for a wonderful experience. Will try to go back there instead.
I had reservations for a room with 2 queen beds, but they gave me a room with 1 king bed. I asked to change to the correct room, but they still only put me in a room with 2 full size beds. They claimed they were queen beds, but they were not. Also, the refrigerator in the room did not work and I left a iPhone charger in the room and called a couple of hours after checkout, but they claimed not to find it. The room was definitely overpriced and the staff was not very helpful.
Spacious room with all amenities. Very clean and comfortable for a family. Check in was so late in the day. We arrived in the AM for an event and we waited until early evening to check in. Check out time was early too. I understand you need time to clean rooms but for the price it isn't worth not even a 24hr stay.
Proximity to highway Soap from a previous guess was left in the shower, found upon my arrival. Lighting in rear parking lot was dark during night hours. Hallways smelled like airplane glue throughout the building, though it did not permeate into room it was still annoying. Breakfast consisted of an egg creation that has left me imagining what it was supposed to have been. Even Cracker Barrel food is better and that is not saying much. Room was situated next to an AC unit at ground level which kicked on and off throughout the night interrupting sleep. Building was older and price was too high given all the newer hotels in this area. I would not stay again.
This is the third time we've stayed in the Residence Inn in order to go to Splash Lagoon. The rooms are very suitable for our family with a one bedroom arrangement. Our room had a fireplace, whirlpool, kitchen area, and two tvs. Our Splash Lagoon passes were ready when we arrived at 12:00 and the room was ready by 4:00. It is very conveniently attached to Splash Lagoon, so you do not have to walk outside to get there. You can wear your swimsuits and flip-flops, even in the dead of winter. If you get a locker near the tree-tops area, you can easily use the back hallway to return to the hotel. We really like having suites that are this close to the water park, so we'll definitely stay here again when we return. None of these things are deal-breakers, but are good to know for future travelers: The breakfast area is a bit crowded during busy times. If you were a business traveler, I would probably try to avoid the hotel when schools are on winter break as it is packed with families. Late checkout was available, but it was $59 to check out at 4 PM instead of 11 AM. That was too pricey for us. The single elevator is really slow, even though there are only three floors. The side door (under the bridge) did not unlock with my room key, so I had to walk around through the cold rain to the front door. Also, the two front doors were not automatic, making it hard to bring a luggage cart inside. Oh, and one of the luggage carts had a bum wheel making it really hard to push. Apparently, the are waiting on parts to fix it.
very nice pool indoor and the water park was attached to the building and it was very close to everything when we checked in they asked for a card and before i handed it to him i asked if anything was going to be charged to it due to the fact it had our vacation money on it he told me no so i gave it to him, the next day our card was charged $350 dollars needless to say i was pissed i went down to ask about it and the lady told me it was normal and it was a incidental fee that they hold till we checked out which was fine but i was mad because the other guy had told me that it wouldn't be charged she told me tough luck and that there was nothing they could do, needless to say it will be the last time i ever stay in any Marriott hotels. also the queen size bed (even tho we ordered a king size) felt like i was laying on a floor not in a bed i ended up sleeping on the sofa bed because it was more comfortable
The room was great, we had been traveling for 10 hours from New York & Boston. The room was so large we wished we had that much space in our other hotels! Nothing was wrong with our stay, it was great!
It was very well organized. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was CLEAN, unlike dome others on this trip. no
size of the room was good front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly..... rooms quite dark and alot of children because of splashpark
Location Size if The room was great Cleaness of The room They just pick up The trash make the beds and didn't take care of anything else
This hotel was located near everything my family and I wanted to do.
The staff was excellent with their customer service.
Checking out. The no-smoking policy at this hotel is clearly only a suggestion. The smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke was, at times, overwhelming. Also, the walls are paper thin. This place was a pit.
Great location. Older room, shows some wear and tear.
Quality of the room furnishings, fixtures, etc. was top notch. Beautiful and well-maintained. Clean. Great breakfast choices End of curtain was off the rod and would not close properly.
Wonderful staff, room, amenities. Everything. Planning on staying everytike we pass thru
Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Hotel was very busy with other families as it is adjacent to a water park. Rooms were nice & clean, recently updated. Hallways appeared to need the same updating, and the lobby/breakfast area could stand to be updated too. There's no elevator, so make sure to ask for a first floor room if necessary. The breakfast area was very crowded and there weren't enough tables for all of the families that were trying to get ready to go to the water park.
My husband and I both liked on and off exit very easy.
Good quality, great price
Rooms where clean and neat, parking was good. Hotel was fairly quiet, was a very nice place to stay would stay here again for our next trip to Erie. Was close to the lake about a 10-15 minute drive. Bed was a little lumpy but not bad
The suite rooms were nice an big Odd issues. It appears (and the night manager confirmed it) that the owners were not putting money into this hotel because they built a new one across the street. Towels were few and far between, there was a weird bow in the bathroom floor in the room we stayed at. Mattress on pull out couch was nasty and stained. Hot tub and pool were gross. Lighting in the pool area was pretty low, but that was to hide all the mold you can see along the rim of the hot tub.
The beds were nice. Nothing else is updated. Walls are patched with paint in odd spots. The furniture and chairs are all worn out. We needed a crib and they said someone must have walked off with it! Um, what? They didn't even offer to borrow one from one of the 10 neighboring hotels.
It is under construction! The girl at front desk had no clue what she was doing and had to keep call her supervisor, than finally we get our key for our room and it was not cleaned! Beds not made garbage everywhere! Went back to front desk than after another call to supervisor we had keys to another room! As we come to that door there was a do not disturb on door but we entered to another room that beds were not bad and garbage everywhere! Went back to front desk and asked for our money back and again had to call supervisor to say it would take 5 to 8 days for corperate to refond our money! Never again! We were there after our father was life flight to the Erie hospital and just needed a night rest!
The staff was very friendly, the pool and gym area was nice, and there was a nice variety in the breakfast area. My room was right next to the pool. The smell of Chlorine was very loud, gave me a small headache.
