Everything Construction next to the hotel - noise
Everything about our stay was fantastic and luxurious! Breakfast was divine, spa was amazing as was hotel pool.
Service was excellent and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. the prices of drinks was expensive.
The hotel was low-key and off-the-beaten path. It's close enough to Cascais and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. It would have been nice if the hotel had a beach presence, meaning, an area reserved fro hotel guests, including chaise lounges and parasols.
quiet and close to beach
Great service, wonderful location, terrific cuisine
Professional and friendly staff Nothing
extremely friendly staff. The only suggestion i would have for the hotelmanagement is to install some extra computers for hotelguests. Only one slightly outdated pc was available.
The staff was extremely polite and helpful... The breakfast (included) was excellent and abundant... the room was beautifully furnished.
I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel and the staff and the quality of the food was excellent. I hope i have the pleasure of staying there in the near future. Many Thanks I thought the size of the food plate at breakfast was to small it was like a side plate as a result you are eating off two or three plates at a time.
The Palacio Hotel is well named as it is indeed a Palace. We stayed in a room with a balcony which had a wonderful view. The staff were excellent, friendly and spoke very good English. The Four Seasons Restaurant was fabulous and well worth a visit.
very good location, close to Casino and train station, bus station
Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Rooms were a bit worn, but kept clean
Excelent staff, very good facilities, and a good place to rest, with the beach nearby
location, weather, food was Ok, service in hotel, the room was clean and comfortable little ants in our breakfast table
The friendly, helpful staff. The excellent location
Very convenient for beach, and travel by rail to Lisbon or Cascais Rooms could be sound proofed a bit more, as we were next to the lift, we could hear coming and going, and road / rail noise from the front. But these are quite minor complaints.
Helpfull staff, good rooms The cramped breakfast area
This was our 2nd time this year in this hotel and we would go back again. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, minutes from the station; close to the casino and a lovely walk to Cascais The breakfast is a bit repetitive although very good. The room was not always as clean as it could be.
Older lady on reception couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast excellent, view wonderful, location fantastic for trains (Lisbon, Cascais, wherever) and walking along the promenade to Cascais. Nothing, it was really great
Near the beach kasino and railway station.
Staff very helpful, good value/money ratio. Comfort rooms, rich breakfast. In a four stars hotel I expected free wi-fi!!!
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect- close to shopping, restaurants and others. It's too bad we left early for our flight. We didn't have breakfast before we left for the airport. Too early.
The location is brilliant.Direct airport buses just in front of hotel, metro a stones throw away and tour buses right in front.Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.Dinner buffet vegetarian options were quite limited.Overall excellent choice.Would certainly stay again. Do not use the phones to make local calls very exorbitant rates. Some of the hotel staff could be more pleasant. We booked a Fado night out and had to pay cash...they didnt accept cards.
Overall accomodation very good, centrally located and great from airport Loved It
Location. Breakfast was poor. Breakfast room overcrowded with organized tour bus groups; only one coffee machine to serve the entire crowd. Cold scrambled eggs. Lukewarm water for tea. We had previously stayed at one of your other hotels (the Sana Reno) which was much more pleasant.
location, hotel is very close to all public transportation the front desk staff was not very friendly
Location: very close to explore the city and also to reach airport Not as clean as all 4 stars....A little bit cold in the rooms, as air conditioning was not functioning.
Very nice staff. Good location of the hotel. Very good breakfest.
Very central, tour bus starts from outside front door, convenient for public transport, good underground parking (8 euros per day) good value for money, good breakfast.
The hotel was very central and good for local transport. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and did not resteict you to a short time window.
breakfast the staff wasn't very friendly or helpfull
Location was a little out of the "hub" or activity; But only a short taxi ride away. Metro also only a 3 min walk from hotel.
Loved the location (safe area)
Consierge service, breakfast Once the room wasn't cleaned and no one seemed to be responsible
meets all requirements of 5stars hotel. good price.
Driver to and from the airport, Diego, was one of the friendliest and helpful and knowledgeable people I met on my 2 week European vacation. The hotel was beautiful and staff from front desk to doorman to room service and spa were outstanding. I forgot my swimsuit and couldn't use the spa relaxing pool area!
The staff in the reception are very helpful. Modern, new and clean, the free of charge computer on the 1st floor of the hotel is super. For the price I pay through Booking.com, it is an excellent buy. Close to metro and railway station are very convenient. cannot think of anything for the time being.
I Enjoy stay in the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon
Firendly service, good food
The hotel was excellent. Having never been in the country before my group relied heavily on the advice of the staff for recommendations on places to go. The door man outside was the most helpful of all, he gave excellent recommendations on restaurants and nightclubs to visit. However the onsite facilities were great as well. There is a very nice lounge area on the bottom floor and because of this my group did not see a need to pay for the exclusive lounge on the top floor. There really was nothing to not like about this hotel. The price was a little on the high side but I have spent up to $500 a night in other hotels that were not nearly as nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they check on you in your room several times throughout the morning to late afternoon. If you want to keep your visits from the staff to a minimum use the do not disturb sign. There visits are out of good intentions though, like refreshing the mini bar, fresh towels every morning, free bottled water, cleaning etc.
gd value for money
clean and tidy with helpful staff the menu at the resturant
The hotel has a really nice swimming pool. The rooms are really comfortable and the food was a very resonable price. The location of the hotel isn't great although the metro is only a minutes walk away.
Very helpful reception staff; spacious room with pleasant view over pool area; self-catering possibilities provided alternatives to eating out; breakfast times very broad.
Good value for money. Carpet in bedroom was badly stained.
Big rooms, hospitality, activities breakfast and food court in general, cumbersome/not functioning wireless
The T2 room (2 bedroom apt) was very spacious and clean. Good self catering facilities. Location. Also there is no supermarket nearby and the bar in the hotel was never open during are stay.
the location, the staff and the available parking was very good. the hotel was a bit on the old side, and the price a bit high. The breakfast was average at best. the indoor pool was too deep for small kids.
The view from the room. The bedroom had 2 twin beds that were separated & would have been uncomfortable to put together in an attempt to sleep on, in addition to a lot of work that guests should not have to do. The sleeper sofa did not work and had to be fixed, so my wife & I were forced to sleep apart the 1st nite. It took a lot of complaining to get this done. The hotel overall was not worth 150 Euros a night, + more!
Breakfast, comfort of the room Need to improve the kitchenette's equipment (cutlery, cloth, dishes to serve) and it was better if there were a double bed
Staff were excellent, particular mention for the restaurant/bar staff. Good facilities at Hotel Location, Estoril had nothing to offer but casino and Cascais at least half an hour walk (not 15 mins as suggested!)
Beautiful hotel..good location and very comfortable. Nicely decorated and nice size rooms.
It is close to the beach and the train station. You cannot even sit straight on the toilet without hitting your knees in the sink, you have to sit sideways if you are planning to use the toilet. Room is damp and has a musty smell, plus the roof leaks when it rains and dripping on top of the TV. It rained for three days during our stay over there, room was suppose to be changed and since it stopped raining on the fourth day and nothing was done.
Beautiful building Better staff
Friendly staff, nice secluded swimming pool, beautifully decorated hotel, well positioned geographically, nice massage One person room, is extremely small
Staff were friendly, pool area very good, enjoyable stay
We absolutely loved the hotel.... our room was stunning... all facilities were fantastic. Bit low on staff and a few a little unfriendly but on the whole... a perfect weekend some unfriendly staff
I liked almost everything about the hotel. My room was simply amazing: with ceiling was about 4m high, and I had a lovely terrace! The stuff was very helpful: I was going to Lisbon one afternoon, and got lots of advices from the personal. We had to leave to the airport early morning before the breakfast starts, so the personal brought us some breakfast into the room a night before. The only complaint is that one had to pay for WiFi (I think it would be more convenient to include it into the price for the room) and it didnt work all that well disappearing all the time.. Also the breakfast was a little poor with no fresh vegetables and too few fruits..
hotel was centrally located in the town and close to the train station the hotel did not have an indoor swimming pool
Make sure you don't get a basement room
This hotel is really over-rated. In the standard of the United States, this hotel's rating should be 2.5, not 4.0. It is really misleading to list this hotel as a four star hotel. On the second day of our stay, the hotel did not have hot water in the morning, and we had to cold shower in middle of January. My wife got a little sick afterward. The hotel room is small, and there is unpleasant smell in the room and also from the shower curtain.
Nice room, nice view, good location.
Parking and proximity to the airport
Hotel was really nice, room was clean and spacious, breakfast was also OK, as well as personal. The only inconveniece is that some rooms are oriented to the railway so for a light-sleeper it could be a bit noisy.
The hotel is not far from the airport of Lisbon. The outside of the hotel has a modern look. The room was nice and spacious. From the 5th floor we could see the river and the Vasco da Gama bridge, quite spectacular. We arrived late at night but the porter was still available to help with the bags. The immediate area of the hotel has not a lot to offer with respect to restaurants or cafés. It is more like a business district with tall office buildings. But the hotel bar on the 1st floor, with very friendly waiter, was still open.
Excellent location near airport and main train station. Front desk staff needs to be more helpful in all aspects.
Price and Location
Great breakfast. Good staff. The common areas were very pleasant and well designed. The rooms could need some updating.
i have to your hotel many times and i enjoy it every time
Very comfortable clean room with modern decor and bathroom No
The rail ways Just under our Windows. No access to wifi.
No sea view rooms, near the train. Little bit noisy.
Luxurious, yet value for money none
wide and clean room. location just near casino
Friendliness of staff. Size of rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. Good selection of TV channels. Location. Keycard system. Wi-Fi Internet connection. Everything really. A 4* hotel in my opinion. I would definitely stay there again at a similar rate. One thing I always like in hotels is a minibar, which the Alvorada doesn't have, but that's a minor thing, which doesn't detract from the overall experience.
Big clean room with nice big balcony (but actually I've seen some other rooms were very little). Close to casino. close to casino, but a lil far away from the ocean (really cold water!) and the central life with reastaurants and shops. Traffic on the roads near hotel in nighttime.
Nothing special but expensive
the bathroom is very small (especially comparing to the size of the room itself); quite a poor selection for the breakfast
Location was very convenient. Parking was difficult. The furniture in the rooms could be upgraded.
The overall experience was lovely. Staff friendly, good location to casino and beach. Nothing I can think of.
spotlessly clean, comfortable, convenient, spacious, quiet, helpful staff, good facilities and kind enough to leave us our room until 3 o clock also very near to beach, train station and casino of course!
I liked the location, comfort, services, price, the relaxed atmosphere, short walk to the city centre, close to the airport, breakfast and the staff. it was quite cold in the room and the air condition did not funcion although the staff was helpful
Helpful staff, Breakfast was quite good. Room was small but not so bad for 1
The Check-in staff was very helpful in getting me from a Twin-Bed to a Double Bed correcting a slight mishap promptly (I think the helpful lad's name was José Costa). Booking Business Room ended us up on 9th out of 10. I could catch a glimpse of the park which was pretty ok. The decor is simple and nice. Very comfortable matresses :) Very clean (as I have been accustomed by the Fenix chain Hotels), despite the Bathtub having a patch that was slightly worn.
The location. The Family room where we stayed had pull down beds that you can feel the bed springs on your back. One thin pillow for each 4 beds, No alarm clock, Empty and Dirty reefer. Difficult access to Cabinets due to positioning of beds. Limited choices of food for the breakfast. Would not go back to this hotel again.
I liked the tranquillity of the street, the fact that it was very close to the metro Parque (just 4 stops to reach Rossio) but it was also perfect to walk down from Av. de Liberdade to Praça de Dom Pedro (about 10 minutes). Breakfast was perfect and complete with salty and sweet, hot and cold food. Room was clean and staff very friendly. There is no wi-fi connection in the room but you can ask to use the computer in the main hall (they give you username and password for 15 minutes connection for free)
The rooms were big and cosy! Extremely worth the price! Near the metro, near the city centre, hotel totally worth its 4 stars and the price is so cheap! Nothing at all!
Very clean and comfortable...good breakfast... Just had to wait to check in, till 2 pm
Good central position, very helpful staff, good breakfast and modern style room, parking Getting to carpark convoluted due to Lisbon's geography but grateful to get a carpark in such a central position
The hotel is in walking distance from downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. I had free wifi access in the room. Breakfast was delicious and included in room price.
The location is great and it is excellent value for the money. The breakfast is very good and the hotel is clean.
Fantastic location with amazing views from the rooftop bar.
I think that the staff is wonderful and the accomadations are perfect.
The hotelroom was quiet and the staff was always very polite and willing to help. The reception is rather small for a large hotel like Mundial. The staff is trying hard, but logistics still might be improved a bit.
Near most places you want to go to, but still quiet. Room small, but very comfortable and a great value.
Parking free . Lucky i was internet was free , usualy you pay fortune!!! All was best you can get . Breakfast egg and sosages were cold Fairly nothing
Good location, courteous and helpful front desk staff Veranda do Lisboa restaurant was overrated and some of the staff somewhat less than helpful
Very pure breakfast .
Location, right in the heart of the city. We got a real feel for Lisbon.
The location is excellent and the room was clean and quiet. The bed was not comfortable. The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful.
Location. Hotel convenient to Metro and excellent access to several excursions for tourist.
Easy access to the City. Staff very friendly ,especially 24 hr restaurant
Location right in the center, close to public transportation, nice breakfast, very friendly staff, very tasteful design of the lobby and breakfast room
Very boring location, rooms are aging, boring and noise isolation poor
The staffs are super friendly and well accommodating.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, like nowhere else. Thank you very much. Original design and great food (local and Japanese). Spa facilities not working yet (this is brand new hotel).
Really elegant and cheap
The bedroom is modern and equipped with the basic facilities. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel is a five minute walk from the metro. The basic double rooms aren't pratical: there are no bed-side tables, no place to hang hand-towels or to place the suitcases. The mini-bar and room-service don't have much to offer. No kettle to boil water for coffee/tea in the bedroom. There is no free internet and no wi-fi at all in the bedroom (we had to take our own cable from the recpetion). The comfort and service provided are far from what is expected from a five-star hotel.
The room was very comfortable. Lobby bar service was not up to standard fo the hotel
Close to the airport. The overall condition of the hotel was poor, quite dirty and the rooms (we asked for a change) were quite "beaten up". The carpets were stained, dust everywhere and the bathrooms need a good cleaning with new caulking in around the shower. The staff we found to have "low moral" which may be a direct result from poor management. Which is quite disappointing as some were quite nice. It just seems like the owners of the hotel (who ever they may be) have given up in terms of the basics. Not a 5 star by all means; this hotel needs a big wake up!
Positiv was the free access to the gym and the luggage room. Although new hotel the carpet in the room was very dirty already and there is no effort to clean it proper. We had asked for a wake up call at 5 am and I am glad I did not rely on the hotel as they did not wake us!! The service is lacking behind for a 5 star hotel.
Excellent hotel. Quality has exceeded expectation. Good atmosphere for rest and work. Good staff in Hotel and especially in restaurant. I like this Hotel and will stay there more.
The bar service - excellent Transport difficult to town centre
Clean room, pleasant staff, comfortable bed
Great Staff. Comfortable beds. Good showers. Rooms although comfortable were quite basic for 5 star clasification. Breakfast was dreadful, especially at â¬20 per person. Cold, congealed cooked food, no bread left with an hour and a half of service left. Burnt pastry.
Excellent location, scenic view (ocean) from the balcony. A room with "see view" costs more than simple one but it is worth it. Friendly reception (and the rest of the staff). 2 min by walk to railway station, 3 min to beach, 10 min to Cascais center. The hotel is actually between Estoril and Cascais. Actually nothing remarkable, may be this small point: when breakfast was almost over (around 10:00 am) it was difficult to find a clean table with folks/knifes, we had to search for them (at the end we knew where the staff store them).
Good reception and good Price/quality. Nice location and see view
Perfect location. Right on the beach and withing walking distance from Cascais and Estoril.
Friendliness of staff
Good location, train station 3 minutes away as was the sea front Traffic noise
Helpfulness and courtesy of staff. Spacious rooms with great ocean views. Internet access poor. Most rooms have two single beds rather than a double bed. This wasn't an issue for me, but might be for others.
View from 14th floor sea-view room was spectacular. Fantastic, large spacious, comfy, rooms, also perfect location to the beach, nearby town & MotoGP circuit. Got soaked on the Saturday, no on-site facilities to dry clothing, ie: laundry room, or trouser press. Laundry is sent off-site Mon-Fri only. Also issues using internet facility in lobby. Was either down or no spare log-in's available on each occasion.
Room big nice sea view big breakfast and lots of it. Nice pools indoors and out doors. close to station for Lisbon Nothing
good hotel no
Restaurant and swimming pool and location Car parking fees
Location , Cleanliness Staff is not very friendly, cleaners does not understand the signal does not disturband and unfortunately there is a building constructions a at the back of the hotel and the noise is unbearable it does last all day including Saturdays , According to the staff it does not belong to the hotel therefore they refused to relocate guest accommodation...
nothing breakfast was terrible hotel has no caracther and is cold.
Very convenient to airport. Nice, large rooms(esp by European standards). High cost of food and drinks in bar.
Excellent if you want to see Sporting game
The hotel was first class in terms of comfort and facilities. Bathrooms was downright luxurious. Bed was big and firm. There actually is a metro stop about 150 yards away, so access to tourist areas was easier than expected. Location, as I said, is not great for tourists.
Very close to the airport! The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Spotty Internet in the room.
Online check in, plus it asked it there were any special requests. I asked for 1 bed (2 adults) and a feather/down pillow. One of the 2 special requests with the online check in was ignored--the request for the feather/down pillow. It would have been nice either for the pillow to be in the room, or an explanation of why not. Neither was provided, however.
location, shuttle, breakfast, room, service nothing, all was great
Convenience to airport. Bathroom was not perfectly clean. Restaurant food was average. Checkout clerk did not give me a receipt.
Customer service was good Room was very small & breakfast was over priced
A friend and I stayed here for a night while on a long layover in Lisbon. The hotel had clean, comfortable, and gorgeous rooms with nice amenities and responsive staff. It's was close to both the airport and the Metro, so it was very easy to get around.
Upgraded for free to an amazing suite. You are right on a park near the university but could throw a ball over to the airport. Very comfortable! Free wifi. Paid parking though.
the room was comfortably spacious, with a round table and chairs for eating or relaxing and a desk area for working. Everything was clean, modern and luxurious feeling. The staff was friendly and the person who arranged shuttle rides and opened the front door was able to provide me with needed information on local food and amenities. They had a shuttle service providing complementary rides to the airport every half hour for the first half of the day, and the gentleman diligently inquired if I would need a ride the following morning and included my name on the reservation list for the desired time. He also provided me with accurate information about how early I needed to arrive to have sufficient time to get through security for my flight. The location, although close to the airport, made me feel like it was located in the center of a traffic circle, both from the vehicular activity surrounding the area and the proximity to the highway. Since it was airport close, there was jet noise from take offs or landings, but not too overpowering due to good noise reducing windows.
Christmas Day evening no shuttle available at 22:30, taxi cost €10. But shuttle next morning was great.
Excellent breakfast. When I requested a view of the castle, the hotel provided us with a room with a wonderful view.
friendly intuitive staff, beautifully deigned rooms, good food, good location lack of equipments in the gym
Clean place to rest Wrong directions to find the parking
.The ambiance of the hotel was excellent. Due to the contemporary décor.
Very impressed. Breakfast wonderful with so much choice. Bar rather overpriced
breakfast safe box no good, not much TV channels
the decor was very well done.... the energy savings exhibited in the corridors is brilliant - lights dim and activate when you open your door. As with many Wuropean hotels, the lighting level in the public spaces is a bit harsh. It would be nice to see the art highlighted with light and other lighting dimmable. Piano Player was lovely and the perfect end to a trip. Smokers... the beds were rock hard and I would definately recommend the hotel but would caution US travelers the firmness of the bed as we are use to US hotels that offer luxury bed experiences.
Breakfast buffet Location
The attitude of the staff and the central location It seemed odd that you couldn't go from the top of the hotel to the bottom without changing lifts as they are all public floors.
Excellent rooms, excellent breakfast, good location in nice area, fair rate
