OkayJul 20195.1
Overall, the accommodations were fine. I was assigned the wrong room at check in, and when I attempted to swap or have this changed I was met with resistance. Assistant Manager stated he was full and the rm was the same price because we were given a handicapped accessible rm. however, I specifically reserved (and prepaid) for a suite with a pull out couch. When I looked online, rms were still available.
it was a decent hotel. Fine for travelers, especially business related travelers. Everyone seemed very “young” and not very interested in making their customers happy. eg offering to see if a fresh pot of coffee could be brewed. Nothing major, overall decent.

One of the best hotel rooms I have ever booked since a visit to a resort in Park City, UT.
The room had a DVD player, but the HDMI cord was missing, making it inoperable and the front desk was unable to provide a cord because the weekend engineer was not on duty.

If the staff were trained
The rooms were spacious and nice. The bathroom was nicely designed (spacious, modern). The option to make this place an extended stay was appealing (it was a nicely designed kitchen)
The staff was so ill informed about the location. They didn't know where a local gas station was. They didn't know about the airport at all (even though they were right next to it). There were issues in the room and they made no effort at all to fix it. None at all. A place may be nicely decorated and furnished but the staff makes it feel warm and inviting. This hotel lacked a friendly, informed staff and that made the rating only "okay."
