Amazing hosts, such a comfortable environment - felt like home. Super comfy beds, room, bathroom, everything. The setting is stunning. If there is no spice cookie or almond cake waiting for you, you should ask about that... ;)
It a beautiful setting with friendly hosts and welcoming dog. We walked up to the base of the waterfall and the view was spectacular. The rooms were charming and comfortable. Would have liked to stay longer. After a long day to get here, we could not find an open restaurant, and the hosts had mentioned that they had some extra canned goods and pasta for guests. So I whipped up spaghetti with canned tomatoes, and it hit the spot!
Water was lukewarm in the shower.
While Breakfast was not included in our rate, the hosts put out Homemade Almond and Apple Cake for all. Amazing setting with all family members being friendly and helpful. Close to some major waterfalls, and not far from other attractions in the South, with a handful of restaurants around. Great private spot to watch the lights. Don't let the name fool you.
Nothing negative to say. Other guests encountered seemed well pleased.
Amazing staying. Very comfortable and well equipped studios, with great taste and attention to details. Hosts were super nice, very welcoming and familiar. Stunning view and surroundings, with horses in the propoerty and an amazing light. One of the best places we stayed in Iceland.
This property was like a postcard! A waterfall in the backyard, ocean in the front yard, sheep, horses, a friendly dog - so glad we stayed for two nights. The rooms were beautifully renovated with an industrial/farmhouse design. The apartment had a full kitchen, huge bathroom and washer/dryer. We used the common area for a dinner with friends. The host provided sugar for our tea upon request.
No negatives but be aware that the location is far from town. Stock up on groceries prior to arrival or just be prepared to drive about 30 minutes in each direction for access to restaurants/grocery.
