9.5 Excellent
Pros: Convenient downtown location within walking distance of many restaurants. Always clean and well-maintained. Breakfast buffet is substantial. The staff is very friendly and pleasant.
Cons: My only criticism would be the same I made last time. There is a flow regulator on the sink faucet that restricts water to an unacceptably low flow rate. I have to run the faucet much longer to get my business done, thereby negating any water-saving benefit. If low water pressure is the issue, then a flow restrictor on the shower would be more effective.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Autumn at the front check in was awesome !!!! Super welcoming and friendly. Extremely clean and large room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very pricey, but clean , staff was great
Cons: Expensive for area
9.3 Excellent

Pros: The cabin and the house I booked were both very cozy. And I do not mean small. Plenty of space, cooked both nights in the kitchen with no problems. We were two adults and two older teenagers and we were very comfortable for a ski weekend. Reception staff was excellent and very helpful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean and had enough room to move around with 6 people. The staff was super nice and knew the area. Smugglers Notch was a ten minute drive from the cabin.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the second time I chose to stay at Sterling Ridge resort for a Spring Ski trip to Smuggler's Notch. The staff is pleasant and accomodating. They provided us with a small jug of their own maple syrup, harvested from the property. My group is large, so I like the option to be able to book both a 12 person house (with large comfortable common area) as well as smaller cabins. It provides a lot of versatility for sleeping arrangements.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved that most of the rooms had their own bathrooms, pine scented toiletries were a nice touch. The large common area was a great gathering spot for our large group.

The bonus free admission to the adjacent Sunset Drive-in Theater (4 screens; built in 1947 & totally renovated) just put this wonderful gem over the top! The very kind owners (of the drive-in) built this Hollywood star themed motel 5 years ago. We were in the Audrey Hepburn room. Such an easy quick drive into busy Burlington. A true gem . . .already have my reservation in for our next trip!

Pros: The room was well appointed and although we stayed for only two days, it’s ideal for longer stays.
Cons: I was surprised that there are no room safes anywhere in the hotel as confirmed by the front desk. Travelling with passports and would have liked a safe place to keep them. Wrongly assumed this was a standard feature. Alarm clock needed a good dusting but the room was very clean otherwise.

Pros: She is a phenomenal cook. Her eggs were the best I think I've ever had. The view from the back deck is beautiful.
Cons: Their son provided breakfast on the last day. I had to go out to eat right after, because it consisted of a ramekin size parfait (that I am not fond of to begin) and 2 pieces of white toast ( again not a white bread eater). Pros: With very short notice, I was able to book a room for my granddaughter and her new husband for the night. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and really seem to like being there. The breakfast bar is fantastic, as is the fireplace in the lobby.
5.0 Okay

Pros: The staff was top notch. Helpful and friendly. Judging solely by the staff and service I could have been convinced I was in a 5 star hotel. Thank you!
Cons: We booked in part for the pool, which was closed for renovations. I would have appreciated the listing being updated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds and nice bathroom.
Cons: I wish I had known the pool was closed indefinitely. I travelled with my granddaughter who was looking forward to swimming.

Pros: The rooms were clean and quiet, bed was comfortable and the breakfast especially the waffles were great.
7.5 Good
Pros: Pool and room was clean. Breakfast good.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds , friendly staff
Cons: T.V. did not work for the last 2 days of our three day stay . Spoke to desk but did not rectify the problem . Continental Breakfast was unimaginative and lacking in choices . Fruit appeared aged and unpalatable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was polite and anxious to please. The room was clean and comfortable, with a frig, a microwave, and a coffee maker.
Cons: No.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beds were comfortable and appreciated that the pillows weren’t all huge/firm puffy. Contacting the staff via phone— staff were friendly
Cons: There were a few black whiskers in one of my towels. Your breakfast is really quite poor which is unfortunate and decreases the likeliness of rebooking given the price paid. An Apple had mold on it and should have been better assessed for quality control since it was Immediately visible and deterred me from eating the fruit available. The eggs were squishy and inedible. You had plain oatmeal as really the only remotely edible healthy option, but nothing to put into it. It was a very disappointing breakfast for the price paid for the room; upon leaving I got breakfast elsewhere. Consider fresher fruit, toppings for oatmeal, hard boiled eggs. If you do cooked eggs, consider something that isn’t such a poor product— they were really so bad.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The mattress was heaven and the fridge large.
Cons: Keys kept demagnitizing so I had to go back up front numerous times. I'm handicapped so that was a hassle. There was a mix up with maid scheduling and my room didn't get cleaned for two days. The desk addressed this to my satisfaction. When I got there the price of the room was more than I was quoted. It took a while but that was worked out too. Breakfast selection was excellent, except sausage was kind of anemic.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, pool area was nice
Cons: It was crowded at breakfast so we didn’t have a table, we went outside. 1 waffle maker with so many people was frustrating.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I knew the location would be fine.
Cons: When I checked in the clerk tried to charge me for more than I booked for. She said the prices had increased that day, even though I confirmed the booking with my credit card. I just booked the day before. She tried to tell me that you had booked it with your company credit card. I told her that I would not pay the extra. so she backed down. 2nd thing that I did not care for was they did not cool down the halls or the elevator. Room had AC it was cool enough. Being in VT. I know that AC is sometimes not available, but they should be prepared for summer heat waves. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Don't know where the got the artificial eggs from...awful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable , pool area was clean along with the pool, and breakfast was pretty good

6.8 Good
Pros: The continental breakfast was fairly good. Coffee a bit weak and needed more milk for cereal.
Cons: The room had a kind of musty smell when we entered it. It could be a bit more modern but it was okay for the amount of time we were actually in the room.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was clean
Cons: The pillows were so small and the tv should be posted higher
5.5 Okay
Pros: The maid she was awesome.
Cons: I felt the hotel owners were very dishonest when I came home and checked my credit card they charged me 201 for two phone calls and would not provided me of a list of calls... I am disputing it with my card company but actually they should be arrested for fraud.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The room smelled horrible. We actually had to drive to a grocery store to buy Febreze and a scented candle - and I hate scented candles.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Was very comfortable, clean and quiet.
Cons: Nothing really, wished I could have stayed longer.
7.5 Good
Pros: Large room with fridge, microwave, and room to eat in. Shower was clean and worked well.
Cons: Bed was okay for comfort. Only enough towels & wash cloths for one shower - had to reuse or request more. The breakfast area had an extremely small-size coffee pot (room size) and the coffee was not very good. Not much selection for breakfast items.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was marginal. No cereal. WIFI not available in room.
7.0 Good
Pros: the room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: the free continental breakfast is a stretch and consisted of muffins grape jam bananas and very weak coffee No juice no yogurt no cereals fortunately McDonalds was nearby.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Rooms were updated and clean. Location was good.
Cons: Morning coffee in the lobby consisted of a (2) cup coffee maker (the type normally provided for each room) for the entire hotel that the desk manager would only turn on unless someone walked in. I suspect that even then he reused the coffee packets as the coffee more resembled a weak tea most mornings. Breakfast was english muffins and bananas if anything at all. One morning of my five day reserved stay there was nothing available, and as usual, no coffee ready. The desk clerk walked out of the back yawning, rubbing his eyes like he just woke up, and muttered something unintelligible. Wifi was weak to nonexistent.Mostly nonexistent. When I asked the desk clerk about this he just mumbled something about the attic, said "sorry" and walked away. Ended up having to go to the local Dunkin Donuts for coffee and wifi. Although rooms were clean and updated, walls are paper-thin. We could easily hear the conversation of the occupants next door. Refrigerator sounded like someone dropping a rock on a trash can when temperature was achieved (all night long).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff
Cons: Continental Breakfast was less than desirable had rotten bananas out with good bananas

Pros: The people were awesome! House was beautiful. Breakfast fabulous. The bed was a beautiful old antique very small queen?. That broke in the middle of the night. It was very hot and no air conditioning so both nights were un-comfortable. We would come back.
Cons: Bed should be a king with beauty rest mattress. Put small air conditioner in the window. Shower water pressure seem very weak.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is stunning though can be eerie quiet at night with no outside lights.
Cons: Too dark

Pros: staff great , did not enjoy meeting with windham
Cons: windham sales presentation
9.5 Excellent
Pros: staff very helpful , even when they could not find the reservation you set up for me
Cons: when i checked in staff said there was no reservation in my name
6.8 Good
Pros: location was good - nice view of the mountain
Cons: earlier check in and later checkout - hidden resort fees - had to clean unit before leaving - too expensive for off season.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The unit was fully appointed, although a second couch would be nice. Wood burning fireplace is fun. Shuttles around the resort are ample. Karaoke night at the one bar we went to(in the building with Ben and jerrys) was fun. Very large indoor pool and 2 hot tubs. It's a great perk to be able to use the pool and shower facilities after skiing before heading home if you already checked out that morning.
Cons: The $40 "resort fee" that was not mentioned until checking in. Wait a minute, the paid-in-full room is nonrefundable and I just drove 6 hours to get here. What if I don't have $40? Why not make it $100? Or $200? This is a terrible business practice and should be illegal, if it's not.

Pros: Comfortable bed , continental breakfast , very friendly staff , spacious room (business suite) , remodelled outside looks good.
Cons: Rooms are very dated , location is a bit remote , carpets needs replacement . The business suite has 2 floors , the bedroom is on the second floor but it is quite bright in the morning as the blind don't cover fully the window.

Cons: Rates for Friday nights as opposed to rest of week.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The pool and dining room were very close to our room.We found the staff very helpful.
Cons: Nothing really. Everything met with our expectations.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was convenient—close to the event I attended. The property was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was a major disappointment. Compared to other, similar offerings at other establishments, this morning’s breakfast was depressing. The staff were great, but the food was...well, the cereals, muffins, and waffles (which is what everyone was eating) were probably fine, but the eggs were inedible. Now, I know that Americans like their salt more than folks from other countries (and I’m one of those), and I assume the eggs were powdered—no one would actually cook eggs using that much salt—so I can only assume that the eggs were, um, created, with American tastes in mind. I was happy to see scrambled eggs on offer, but I wasn’t happy for long. I doubt I’d ever bother with the breakfast at a Days Inn again.
Cons: How to put this....for the price I paid, I didn’t expect so...antique a property. No one’s fault, but the floors and stairs creak. (Wood? I expected concrete.) I could hear people walking about in the halls and in the room overhead. (Creak, creak, thud, thump.) I could also hear voices—late at night and early in the morning. I slept very badly, I’m afraid. I wouldn’t book there again. (I paid less for a room at a beachfront Quality Inn in Daytona Beach and was much more comfortable.) Nope, I’m afraid that on the whole, I was very disappointed. My overnight stay was a treat I was giving myself. I’ll have to do better in the future.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of our favorites. Grandkids love the pool! Close to St. Michael's Playhouse for great theatre. Near Winooski for good food.
Cons: nothing
4.5 Okay
Pros: the breakfast was good. Staff in kitchen was very friendly
Cons: The whole hotel had a very bad smell, Like dirt and must. We had to open the balcony doors to air it out but we were on the side of a major road so it made it very noisy. my sister was on the floor below and had to do the same thing, We ended up using my husbands cologne to make the smell go away.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Relatively good location
Cons: Windows have no sound proofness. I asked for a quiet room during reservation, but apparently all were taken when we arrived and our room ended up facing the street and was across from the elevator. It was difficult to sleep with the car noise plus elevator.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location
7.0 Good
Pros: Was clean and friendly staff
Cons: Bed not comfortable

Cons: Bathroom wasnt cleaned. weird stuff in the tub, open soap package on the floor.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy, the bathroom was very big, the room was very clean and tidy and the staff we're very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bathroom light didn't work but other than that everything was great.
5.5 Okay
Cons: The heating, cooling system was very noisy and it kept me awake most of the night. Upon checkout I notified the clerk but there was a lack of caring.
6.8 Good
Pros: Gas station w store and many food places within walking distance. Well lit and big parking. Easy to find. Quiet location.
Cons: Hallways smelled funky, no iron/ironing board, bathroom was kinda small, not carpeted floor was weird.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location just minutes from Burlington and surrounding areas. The staff did a nice job with room cleaning as we stayed 3 nights.
Cons: A small fridge could have been nice, that's really it.
6.8 Good
Pros: Very clean, air conditioner worked great
Cons: Very pricey for the room size, but still the cheapest for what rooms were still available in the area
7.0 Good
Pros: Didn't try it.
Cons: It wasn't clear to my wife that the sheets and pillow cases had actually been washed. They didn't have a cleanly-washed feel or scent to them.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: location for the use that I needed at the time. Waited to long for booking.
Cons: The rate was way to high (over $---- per night). Air condition not working and both bathroom sink and shower plugged, running real slow. No coffee pot, and no shampoo. The worse part is I had my 90 year old father with me! Had to listen to him.
5.8 Okay
Pros: No breakfast supplied.
Cons: A lot of youth activity in the parking area and around the hotel, seemed suspicious. Coffee was provided only in the morning from a pump urn. One of the check-in staff members, an African American woman, was very unfriendly and never smiled. She made us feel unwelcome. The others were OK. One male check-in staff member went missing for over an hour one night causing a new arrival to call the National number for help. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was affordable. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet.
Cons: The hallways and elevator looked dirty. The TV remote looked like it had never been wiped in its life. Could have had something other than powdered creamer for the coffee. The lobby was ok but didn't feel inviting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: No carpet, comfortable beds
Cons: No

1.0 Poor
Cons: Worst place, people smoking crack on the balcony. I rate this in between a 1 and Bates Motel!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: nothing
Cons: room smelled toilet did not flush
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and accommodating. Owner and staff knew we were there to relax and not there to be pampered.
Cons: Too many mirrors in the room! LOL
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A lot of parking. A nice bar just beside where we had a lot of fun.
Cons: nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spacious.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Room damp and outdated. No chair to relax in. Needed an update in all areas. Owner is obviously interested in just staying status quo and not spending any time or money on the motel.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: You shafted both the owner and me by allowing me to book for one night, then when it was too late to cancel, charging me for two nights. Next time I will choose NOT to book with booking.com. You are dishonest.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: It is a motel and not a hotel - but that is why it was not expensive.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Johnson, VT is a small town with a lot of charm. The location of this property is nice but the hotel itself is a place nobody should ever stay. The staff (when I could find them) were nice.
Cons: I do not know where to start. This property does not meet ANY standard of a motel these days. The keys are not secure. My room had a sliding door with no lock on it (the latch was physically missing) and a balcony that connected it to other rooms. This is the only property in over 30 years of global travel where I took my possessions with me when I left. There are no locks anywhere on the property to stop anyone from accessing the rooms. I expected a value hotel that might have been a little older. What I got was a room in a hotel populated by permanent residents. The entire place smells of old smoke and is musty. The halls are dirty and have exposed fixtures. The decor is primarily whatever they could find at the dollar store. My room had no curtains that blocked any light. The TV only gets about 4-5 channels out of the hundreds listed. The bedding was old. The furniture was sparse and poorly put together. There was a pepperoni in the middle of my floor. The bathroom floor tiles stuck to my feet. There was a hole in the tub. Nothing about this property matches the pictures. I tried to post real pictures of my stay but the booking.com engine wont take them. DO NOT STAY HERE. I have no idea how the booking.com rating is so high. Pay the extra money and stay anywhere but here.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on at a motel.
Cons: Didn't really care for having to pre-pay days before arriving and though it was a comfortable room it wasn't worth Hyatt or Hilton prices.
