The location is good, and everything can be reached quickly. Towels are provided, and the bed is comfortable. Good value for money. Ideal if you have an early morning flight from Faro Airport as it is only 3 minutes from the bus stop. The interior is older but functional and clean. Small hotel, very close to the centre. Clean and tidy, basic room. Ensuite. Comfortable bed. A clean room, with an ever-available, helpful reception; a convenient location for bus, train and town. It offers a rooftop terrace – a definite plus. Very clean, and perfect location right in the centre of Faro old town. Very nice staff and helpful. The hotel was great. It's just a simple place near the train station, which is what I was looking for. There's a full-time reception which made my arrival easy. It's also convenient to restaurants in Faro.

It can be quite noisy – you can hear neighbors showering or talking loudly, and conversations in the hallway are audible. The location on the street can also result in street noise, especially with open windows. For a British traveller, we expect a kettle to make tea or coffee. They did have a vending machine in reception, but not any good usually. Room was a small double, ideal for me, a solo traveller, might be a bit tight for a couple. No lift, so if you have mobility issues then it's not for you. Rude staff, expensive compared to offers around. The hostel is full of sign what is forbidden, wording is rude. Staff seem to be very unhappy. The walls are thin; earplugs might prove of use… The room was very small, we could properly move around. There was a weird smell in the bathroom and the TV didn’t work. The woman at the reception wasn’t friendly, I felt like a burden. No breakfast. The room was very small and no facilities for making a drink in the room when waking in the morning. The room has a musty smell, old bedspreads that do not smell very nice. The hotel is advertising free parking, but they mean that there are parking spots in the streets. There is no hotel parking. The room is very small with no fridge. The bed is very short and is NOT attached to the headboard, so when sitting, the bed was moving... The staff wasn't very welcoming, we waited at the reception for a few minutes before they took the reservation. They were all nice, but didn't feel welcomed. My husband had leg trauma 3 month before traveling. It was chalange him to get up and down. Not very tidy patio on the roof. The bathroom is quite small. The property accepts cash only. Double room is a bit small for what is paid. Toilet was very small however clean and all working properly. Being in the city centre it is noisy, but this isn't the fault of the hotel. In the evening a little noisy because there are clubs nearby. Bank deposit for prepayment - never encountered this in booking.com, it was my first time. Ive been using booking.com for maybe 7 years now and before that, agoda, never experienced that. Keys - to be surrendered every time you go out. Reception was 24/7 but still, there were times when you had to wait your turn because of people checking in/out. This was also my 1st time experiencing leaving the keys. Price - for what was offered, price was too high. For a very very tiny room and ensuite, with thin walls that you can hear your neighbors and the noise outside, with the leaving of keys and all, the price was too much. Room was very small and room for luggage. Area was a bit dingy. Room was tiny. Rooms are a little small size but OK for a couple of nights. The noise at night of the guesta coming late, they were waking us up everytime, so i would recommend either a better isolation of the wall of a reminder to guests not to make too much noise. The room was a bit noisy at night. We also found a bit odd the fact that we needed to pay on a specific bank account before arrival.
