9.6 Excellent
Pros: We decided to stay in Favara, and not Agrigento, for our visit to Temple Valley. The old city of Favara is a bit hard to maneuver around with a big car, but hotel instructions were perfect. Staff went above and beyond to help us with car and to meet all our needs. In addition, they booked a guide for us for our visit to the Temple Valley and he was absolutely outstanding. Our meal in the hotel restaurant was very good, albeit a bit overpriced in comparison to other restaurants we ate at in Sicily. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The rooms are very nice and very clean, but in a room for 2 people there was only 1 chair. In addition, there is only one place to lay a suitcase.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: New and modern B&B in a quiet aerea but close to FARM and the city centre. Situated above the families flower shops, so entering your are welcomed by a lovely floral scent. Parking downstairs. Thank you Carla for your hospitality! Your tips about the best bars and restaurants to go to were very helpful and we've really enjoyed our stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best stays we had during our trip to Sicily! I loved the bright room with the big shower and the balcony. You can see that the place was recently renovated and modernized, which makes it really comfortable. Best thing about the place was probably Carla's recommendations for restaurants, bars and beaches which really made our stay in Favara - thanks again Carla!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Carla, our hostess, booked us into a lovely local restaurant with excellent food. The following day she drove her car with us following to get through the local cemetery for the celebration of the ancestors. And then gave us tips for our next stay in Palermo. She couldn’t have been more helpful.
Cons: We liked everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A quiet family that welcomed us with kindness. Room was such a lovely and a cosy place. Carla and his mother were two nice persons and we appreciated to discuss a little bit with them. Carla gave us cool advices and recommended us some places to go. A real good address.
Cons: We liked everything.

Overview Reviews

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and design, the owner, the breakfast in the little cafe next door! Everything was perfect! We definitely recommend a stay in this cute village!
Cons: Nothing at all!
7.1 Good
Pros: The room is quite chic as well as the little neighborghood it is framed within (Farm Cultural Park). The breakfast in the Oasi pasticceria (the one included with the room) was delightful and his owner was very kind.
Cons: Favara is not the most beautiful village of Sicily at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: This is the hardest review ever. This place doesn’t fit into any category. It is part of a radical urban renewal project that has changed a derelict part of the old town centre into a reborn, creative place with places to stay, bars, places to eat, exhibition spaces and lots of surprises. The room was very unexpected, with only a glass wall separating the shower from the room. The original walls remain, but everything else is repurposed or new. If you are after marble finishes and room service stay away. After a great meal of swordfish and salad, we sat at the table and watched tourists and locals coming into this revived area, and experienced the kind of change that commitment and positive ideals can make to a city. Google struggled to get us here and we drove down dirt poor streets full of rubbish and decay. The best thing about this place is that it shows what is possible. We stayed on Saturday night and there was a great buzz from the nearby bars and cafes. Nevertheless we slept well. There is politically incorrect aircon, good shower with actual hot water and a comfy bed. This is not just a place to stay, it will change how you think about cities. Give it a try.
Cons: The pillows, and we couldn’t say goodbye in the morning(maybe still asleep?) The streets could have shown a bit more care as well. It still feels like you have walked into a parallel universe, there is a good deal of building going on, so it’s obvious that this isn’t just a pipe dream.
7.5 Good
Pros: When we reached the location (at dusk), the neighborhood looked just like a crime scene scenography (abandon houses, no people on the streets, dim light of street lighting…). However, when we found the apartment complex, the scenography has dramatically changed. Freshly renewed houses, cafe, restaurant, gallery, school of architecture, …, looked like a parallel universe to the neighborhood we have just passed. Suddenly, we felt very safe and relaxed, really amazing emotional transformation. Therefore, if you are looking for a very unique experience and you are open to something new and unexpected, go for it. The owners were very welcoming and helpful (although they do not speak English), fully at your disposal.
Cons: There is no reserved parking space available. Actually, there is no parking space at all. You have to park somewhere in narrow and crowded surrounding streets - a very stressful experience.
Relais Garden Cactus B&b - Favara - Pool
10
9.2 Excellent (69 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Relais Garden Cactus B&B in Favara, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Valley of the Temples and San Leone Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cactus varieties were outstanding, nice staff, pool, etc.
Cons: Better signage, especially for parking needed, a long trek from parking lot for bags to room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular garden a fabulous range of cacti, very helpful host. Well appointed, comfortable bedroom and sitting room.
Cons: We were given a bottle of really nice wine on arrival, but couldn't find any wine glasses.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our room was beautifully decorated (not modern, rather rural style but with a lot of care and character). Pool area was also good even though a bit smaller that you would expect from the photos. The garden was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was amazing and what I liked the most was cappuccino prepared by the ladies of the house in cute cups. The two ladies who took care of the breakfast were so nice regardless the fact that they don’t speak English. Very nice people. The location is perfect only if you are with car, as valley of the temple is 10 min away by car.
Cons: Nothing to dislike but few things to bear in mind: we couldn’t dine at the property (the cook was ill) so we had to drive either to Favara on the first night or to Agrigento on the second. Also there are no supermarkets around whatsoever so come with water and things you might need. One more small thing: in the afternoon there was no one in the bar next to the pool so we couldn’t order water/coffee/beer. That would have been great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was one of the best places we stayed in our trip to Sicilia for 3 weeks. Near to Agrigento and Favara, it's perfect if you want to visit the temples or enjoyed the not overcrowded Riserva Naturale Torre Salsa spiaggia. Nice pool, beautiful cactus garden, excellent breakfast and amazing dinner!! If you stay here, it's worth to dine one night, their pasta a la sarde was the best of all I tasted. Congratulations and big thank you to the cook!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful cactus garden, they cooked some lovely food for us and breakfast had a good selection. Cats and kittens. Not far from valley of the temples. I think we were the only ones there but it was getting near the end of October.
Cons: A little tricky to find but sat nav got us near enough to spot it from the road after we drove past by accident. Our Italian wasn't good enough so communication was a little tricky when we were ordering food, hurrah for internet.

At the Villalba you can enjoy relaxing moments in the shared garden and terrace. A shared kitchen and barbecue facilities are also available. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: They waited for us despite of the late arrival. Very clean. Staff very friendly
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Even if Villalba was great, I am so dissapointed with the host, as there was a misunderstanding regarding the payent method: we paid twice: one via booking home and the bank card, and once in cash. When I realized the double payment, I kindly asked him to transfer me back the money, he responded "ok" and one week after, he has not done the transfer back. Be careful people! It's a pitty for Villalba.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The fresh fruits for breakfast were a real bonus, especially as they were grown on site.
Cons: Very difficult to find the property.
