Great place, hard to contact.
This is a beautiful little lodge on the shore of a lake; there is a large common room, dining room, and a games room on the first floor. You can use the kayaks, canoes, and rowing boats for free, which is great! There is both a dock and a beach, with a raft that was ashore when we were there. We were there in mid-may, and it was very quiet; one other couple in the lodge, and no one on the lake. The location is beautiful, the lake is gorgeous. Local pastry/breakfast spots are right up the road, and the lodge itself is about a mile of dirt road from Route 17, so it's very quiet.
This is a rustic lodge; it's clean and great, just know that it's a bit rustic. Exposed wood surfaces, creaky steps, some doors that stick a bit when it's humid, all that. No automatic doors or credit card offers. (There is wifi.) On an actual negative note, the bed is very hard. I didn't mind, but it is hard. The only issue that I had was that the staff did not pick up when I called; the number on google is correct, (8532 also works) it's just not always answered.
