Loved the breakfast house! Adorable, old, clever, delish. Bed felt like it was a little lopsided...like used more on left side than right. But all else wonderful!
Location, price Small pillow, tight parking spot
The room was clean and comfortable, we were there in the middle of winter and there was an ice storm during our stay and still everything worked, heater was hot, water was hot, the staff was very pleasant and informative, the breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items, I left an item behind and when I called and left a message, my call was returned with 30 minutes and arrangements made to have my item mailed, we would definitely go back and stay there again.

Friendly Staff Nothing
Horrible!!! There isn't enough character allowance to describe how filthy the place was. My 13 year old was afraid to get out of the car. CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL!!!
It was close to other places to get out of there the pictures were deceiving promised a two room king suite even called to confirm that's what I was getting and got one crappy chair and a desk and king bed in one room room wasn't ready when I was ready to check in after 6 when check in is 3
The hotel had a great location, very convenient to the highway. We weren't greeted by a friendly person at the desk when we checked in, but the woman who checked us out was very sweet. The bathroom was clean at least. We didn't try out the pool or gym but our room was decent. It was what you would expect for cost and star rating. The bed, however, was very old. It sunk in and was uneven and the pillows were thin and uncomfortable. My husband and I both woke up in pain.
The price was great. The room was much better than I have found at hotels twice the price. The hot full breakfast was a pleasant surprize. The door to enter our area (door 2) did not have a working lock.
It's totally fine, it gets the job done if you just need a quiet place to sleep.
Clean room, friendly staff Nothing at all,... except it was too cold outside to use the pool but that's not the hotels fault
close to interstate and cheap no breakfast
It was fairly clean and neat There were some very loud young adults up and down the hallway and playing music all night. I said something about it as I was trying to sleep but nothing ever happened.
Nothing The room was a dump and smelled bad
Staff was friendly Extremely dirty and far away from town.
The place is old, but clean. Worth the price.
The location Smelt like stale cigarettes, towel racks kept falling off the wall, the air conditioning did not work
Blue sky is a very friendly motel the way they used to be. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, 32 in flat screen tv and goats to pet. Swimming pool was closed for the season, swing set for the kids and a large hammock to lay in. Motel is located 10 mins north of Gettysburg and you are away from the insanity of downtown Gettysburg. The bathroom was small but everything worked. All in all a great comfortable economical stay and a backyard deck to sit on.
I like the room the beds were very comfortable I like the back deck up out the back it was a very nice place to relax and have a drink and enjoy the scenery and that light night we had a lightning bug show it was pretty nice it was very peaceful and tranquil I cannot say that there was anything I didn't like about it it was the perfect weekend
The people who operate it The mold / midew odor, the out of date surroundings, stained comforter, stained carpet. The second room was downstairs in what would classify as a basement, complete with cinder block walls. The mildew odor was extreme in this room, but travelling with 5 children and this being the only availible motel I had no alternative. I would certainly not stay here again, nor reccomend it to any one
It's 10 minutes from downtown Gettysburg and is adjacent to a larger set of hotels that were hosting an event we were attending. The maintenance staff seemed friendly, though my interactions with them were limited. AC hadn't had its filter changed since smoking was allowed in the rooms. Turning the AC on made our room smell like cigarette smoke and I had trouble breathing for all three nights of my stay. My nose bled and I woke up hoarse. They charge $10/night/pet--CASH!--and would not give me a receipt at the time of transaction. There was a dead roach on the side of the bed when I first entered the room. Bedding was sparse--instead of a fitted bottom sheet, the bed had 2 top sheets and a comforter that probably hadn't been washed in ages. The comforter had burn holes in it, which suggests it is as old as the appliances in the room. They were also the color of nicotine staining, for what that's worth. The pillows were hard and felt congealed, which is what I would expect of pillows that haven't been changed in ages. The room was not laid out well and it was difficult to get to the sink.
Motel was run down, in need of some serious TLC.
I cancelled my reservation 12 days in advance and revived a email cancellation confirmation from Expedia. Was still charged by hotel, call the hotel and was told very nasty by the women manager that Expedia never sent confirmation to them, before I could give her any information she told me that it's hotel policy and I would not be getting a refund, to try to get it from Expedia. Expedia call hotel and told them I had conformation of cancellation and that I was due a refund and they claim they never received it. Beware they will charge your card and then say it hotel policy basically stealing your money. Save yourself the trouble and book at the many other hotels in Gettysburg. Everything
Great location. Good price. Wifi didn't work :-\
