The bed was very comfortable.

The housekeeper threw out my unopened coffee and creamer and a leftover pizza I was going to have.

The fact that I could have my dog stay with me.

They have specific rooms that are designated for pets. The problem is, even though they charge an extra $10.00 for the pet to stay there, they don't use that extra money to do the extra cleaning necessary to get rid of bad pet odors. The room stunk so bad, it was difficult to sleep. In addition, the overnight clerk was not very friendly; he did not provide a hotel map when it was requested. Even though the outside entrances have key swipes, the outside door seemed to be permanently ajar. Safety is very questionable! The door that led from the stairwell into the hallway where the room was did not have a doorknob, just the post that the knob should have been on. When entering the room, the stench was almost unbearable, however, since it was 2 AM, I chose to suffer through it. The light switch did not turn a light on and the next light switch for the bathroom didn't turn a light on either. I would never stay there again! Very disappointed!!!

Loved that it is right off of I-81and that there is a Cracker Barrel right next door. The room was very nice and clean. Appreciated that.

Construction going on in the lobby was not very appealing, but at least that is temporary.

Convenient location to our relatives. Very helpful staff. Good value for our weekend stay & tasty breakfast to start each day.

Direct TV was not aligned with the hotel directory & the PBS Channel was not available :-(

This hotel is charming! It is an older hotel but the rooms are nicely remodeled, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. My bed was comfortable and with a 3:00 am wake up time - the in room coffee pot was much appreciated! Very close to the interstate for 1/2 the price of the chain hotels located on the interstate.

The hotel is older but restored. The elevator was scary and small. Take the stairs!

Overall the stay was nice. Great location in downtown area within walking distance of restaurants and shops, room was clean, and the continental breakfast was a nice value.

Fitness center was hard to find, and ended up being about the size of a walk-in closet. There wasn't adequate space for working out other than using the one treadmill there.

The location is great, able to walk about anywhere we wanted to go.

The room was clean and comfortable, we were there in the middle of winter and there was an ice storm during our stay and still everything worked, heater was hot, water was hot, the staff was very pleasant and informative, the breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items, I left an item behind and when I called and left a message, my call was returned with 30 minutes and arrangements made to have my item mailed, we would definitely go back and stay there again.

Double king beds were nice...Even though I only needed one. Very roomy

Every time we went into our room, we could smell smoke (404). We were told afterward that room had been occupied by someone whose house had burned. We would've appreciated knowing this beforehand. Even better, having been giving a different room.

I stay here once or twice a year when visiting family in Gettysburg. It has my 'three Cs' of a good hotel stay - cheap, clean, and comfortable. It's not a five-star experience, but if you want a nice place to stay that's near downtown and doesn't cost a lot, the Super 8 works wonderfully.

The staff was very pleasant. The room was clean. The children were excited about the pool and computer access. There were many restaurants close to the hotel, and easy travel to the downtown area.

Breakfast was beyond cheap. They must want people never to return.

The rooms were clean and neat, the staff was very friendly, and the location was great. The complimentary breakfast included coffee, orange juice, waffles, toast, microwaveable burritos, mini donuts, oatmeal, and 2 different cold cereals. we've stayed here before and we'll likely stay here again.

The rooms are a bit dated, and although it would be nice if the breakfast included fruit of some sort, there was still enough to choose from.

It was in a centralized location - easy access to the Visitor's Center for the Battlefield. It was a clean moderately priced room. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping was splendid. Our room had a little patio. Breakfast was nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about. Will recommend this facility to friends visiting Gettysburg.

Parking & access/distance to your room could be a bit dicey.

Wall Thermostat controls temperature, not the usual high low on the heater/ac unit. The room was clean. The hotel grill had a great waitress and a delicious salad on the menu. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very friendly and the rooms were excellent.

The breakfast area is very small and is not set up to maximize the space. Also, the hotel is located on the edge of town and near nothing. Walking to attractions is impossible.

We had a king suite and it was perfect since we were traveling with our twin toddlers and newborn. We were able to put our two travel cribs on the living room part and keep our newborn with us in the bedroom. We all slept great and the room was big enough to let our kids play. Breakfast in the morning was also perfect, really great selection. The location was ideal since it had a TGI Frdays across the street and the outlet mall. We could walk to both. On the other side was 7-11 and we could walk there in 2 minutes for snacks. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Gettysburg.

Great customer service, breakfast attendant was awesome, good breakfast, clean comfortable room, and nice to have a place to work out and swim.

Kids loved the pool! Room was comfortable and had enough space for 4 of us.

Pretty far outside of the main town, but close to the freeway.

Staff was extremely helpful, courteous and met our every need. We arrived very late, and had called to make sure cribs were in two of the rooms, and they were in the rooms and ready for us to put the little ones to sleep. we requested a refrigerator, and it was brought up within minutes of our request.

Breakfast may have been a little over priced.

Room was clean - we were driving up the east coast and just needed a place to rest our heads for the night and the hotel was OK for what we needed.

Blue sky is a very friendly motel the way they used to be. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, 32 in flat screen tv and goats to pet. Swimming pool was closed for the season, swing set for the kids and a large hammock to lay in. Motel is located 10 mins north of Gettysburg and you are away from the insanity of downtown Gettysburg. The bathroom was small but everything worked. All in all a great comfortable economical stay and a backyard deck to sit on.

Hotel was in a very convenient location for all things Gettysburg and easy access to main highway for other destinations. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good with the usual offerings - they weren't caught up with shutting it down eactly at 10 allowing you to flex your schedule. Our room was comfortable and spacious, cleaning service was excellent. It was very quiet, with the single exception of the first night when the county was paving the main road directly outside the hotel. We had a great stay and recommend this hotel.
