Pros: The owners were extremely helpful and anxious to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The food was very good. The surroundings were individual and each room was furnished to a very high standard.
Cons: The nature of the property meant there was no lift so it was somewhat strenuous to carry bags up to the second floor and would not have been suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

He gave us a very warm welcome and was a great host – always there if you needed anything but never intrusive. I recommend you visit to see for yourself!

Pros: Very nice experience. The staff was very young and friendly. A stay of one night was just perfect. Sleeping was not super easy, but you have to expect this if you sleep in a suspended tent. Pros: Friendliness of staff, cosy clean room and enough breakfast to send us on our way south. Despite previous comments, the breakfast has a unique element as the jams on offer relate to the area and the hostess is very attentive to ensure that we were happy.
Cons: The shower floor is a little slippery, but this is a minor niggle compared to the rest of the place.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: close to the shore
Cons: BED BUGS! bed bugs everywhere, I stayed one night and had more than 20 bites! avoid this hotel!
6.3 Good
Pros: Friendly receptionist and she was very helpful to direct us to attractions. Breakfast room quite sweet.
Cons: Bathroom was a foot away from bed. Compact, cosy room but adequate. Breakfast was not a buffet, restricted to a pat of butter each, but was offered another when we used up both. Juice and coffee was served then jugs and pot taken away. She did top up the coffee. It all felt a little bit too mean.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: everything was really fine and the owner was very kind and friendly. the seaside view is absolutely fantastic. th hotel is right in front train station.
Cons: it is not a complaint but rather it is a suggestion. I think if they could work on the breakfast it would be really good. besides, nobody speaks English, for me it was not a problem but I think any English come over without knowing french he might be in trouble to communicate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, nice location and clean hotel. Perfect for a relaxing vacation.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: such a nice and amazing owner, the lady was a real hospitable person. always welcome the people with a smile and help them to the extent she could. our room was riverside and very nice in the morning. she couldn't speak English but her French for me was quite understandable and I didn't face any difficulty to communicate with her. If you don't speak French don't be worry at all.
Cons: nothing really. it is not an object but the breakfast could be a bit better, although the current one was good. I think more fits to french appetite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and well equipped
5.0 Okay
Pros: They were still nice and polite. They tried their best and the hotellerie service is good. It is a great location since you have from Fècamp to Etretat for 2 EU by bus and Le Havre for 3 EU by bus.
Cons: The bed sheets were wet as we arrived there. The room is moistourous. The toilet was not working and we had to go outside to use the toilet. The Wifi connection constantly dies off and isn't strong enough. The staffs.. well the lady at reception speaks almost no english as well and if you don't know french, the communication is a real thing to struggle with.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: everything was fantastic.
Cons: the breakfast could be better, however, the current one was seriously meet our expectation. the owner was seriously hospitable.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location. Reasonable price. Good breakfast.

Hotel Le Commerce - Fécamp - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly intelligent French owners who could answer all questions and provide information only ‘locals’ could know. Free individual garage parking. The ‘rooms’ were in fact individual apartments down a lovely cobbled courtyard. Mews style. Fabulous.
Cons: In a perfect world the ‘continental breakfast’ would be an English/Scottish/Ulster Fry!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner were so nicely when you stay there you feel like you stay at home
Cons: None
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and privacy. Very kind staff. Nice small town.
Cons: Too narrow gate for car. Cold floor in the room.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The manager/owners were friendly and changed our room from a ground floor motel room to a first floor room in the hotel. The shower in the bathroom was very good. Parking was free.
Cons: The bed was terrible, the mattress shot. Should be replaced. The WiFi didn't work. When my husband went to reception to ask about it, he was told that it worked outside. It was pouring with rain and windy! Not helpful. Also, the only outlet in the room, period, could not be used for charging our devices because it was right next to the bathroom door. Whenever you opened the door the connection was broken. One more thing — be careful driving through the super-narrow entrance into the parking spaces. There's no room for mistakes! Don't even try it with a big vehicle.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Although small it was clean. Bed was comfortable. Good shower.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It is next to a nice church.
Cons: The whole room smelled like a dusty carpet. Was really bad. We had to leave all the windows open. As a result we did not sleep too well from the noise and the bugs. When we arrived the people at the receptions made jokes all the time when we were asking questions. It was really annoying. The parking place inside is really small, you need to drive through a really narrow gate! The esplanade and restaurants are quite far by walking.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast including freshly baked and very tasty croissants, clean and modern room and bathroom, very kind and nice staff, I guess, they were the hotel’s owners. We really enjoyed our stay and breakfast. Thanks a lot:)
Cons: There was no air conditioning in the room but I guess usually there in Normandy is no need for it. Usually it is not so hot like it was during our stay when the highest temperature record was beaten.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the rooms and shower, the friendliness of the owners a d the breakfast was awesome!
Cons: There was nothing to not like. Everything was great!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room overlooked the market square and across to the church, really central and absolutely what we wanted, a bit of local noise at night but nothing to bother us. Simply furnished and everything we needed and best of all by pre booking we had a delightful little personal garage for our car right in the heart of town - perfect.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. We didn’t try the breakfast as there was a great little Cafe opposite, Bar de Sports which had delicious coffee and a plethora of local boulangeries to buy your own goodies.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Price
Cons: Car parking car entry to the hotel

Will think twice about booking with you again.

Cons: Security with my vehicle, would be better if there were gates to the car park.

Pros: Good breakfast. Quit room to the backside. In the middle between pedestrian area and sea. Interesting walk along the pier to the sea.

Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: Wifi is so poor.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Central and fair price
8.3 Excellent
Pros: You get what you pay for. very reasonable cost, room was clean and adequately sized. location very convenient. We didn't use the on site eating facilities so can't rate those, and being round the side of the hotel we did not have a problem with the church bells. Obviously good double glazing.

Pros: Location was great; beautiful surrounding countryside yet close to places of interest. Very quiet at night. The staff were superb; friendly and very helpful. I paid for wi-fi for the three days which failed to work after the first hour. I was prepared to write this off to bad luck, but the staff member at the hotel went above and beyond by giving me a cash refund, even though the service comes from a 3rd party supplier. I also had a request for an additional comfortable chair and another member of staff searched the building for one for me. All in all a fantastic service.
Cons: The 'houses' are tired and in severe need of a refurbishment. Decoratively speaking, they are sparse and feel unwelcoming. Although the accommodation was clean, much of the furniture was paint chipped and just too basic; for instance, the couch was a sofa bed which did not have a cushioned back support - not exactly comfortable for relaxing in the evening. There was a real lack of furniture too. Our 2 bedroom house supposedly accommodates 6 people, but the living area only has the one aforementioned sofa which can seat three people. Other guests would have to sit on dining chairs for the evening. It may sound pedantic, especially as there were only three of us staying, but a couple of armchairs would not break the bank and make a huge difference to the comfort level. Further, the dining facilities were rather random; we had three tea cups, but around twenty plates! Again, if the accommodation is for six persons, I would expect to find at least one place setting per person.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Since the location was so close to Etretat which was our main place to visit, I really liked the hotel in that sense.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good place to stay for a day or more. Two-levels apartments with kitchenette, two bedrooms. Green property, views on the surrounding fields. Direct access to the garden, close to Etretat. Personnel was very friendly and helpful, no problem with English. Easy to park, less than a minute walking to houses.
Cons: Not much to do in the direct vicinities (agricultural museum/farm being the only one), almost literally in the middle of nowhere. For the rest you have to take a car / motorcycle / bicycle. Closest bakery a couple of kilometers away by small roads (it is worth taking them for some beautiful views in the morning though).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good sized room and bathroom. Bed was big and comfortable. Had all the things we needed to be able to make a couple of meals when we didn’t fancy eating out. When we arrived, reception was closed but I let them know in advance and they gave me clear instructions of what I needed to do on arrival. We were then given a friendly welcome when we went to reception the next morning. All staff were welcoming and accommodating whenever we needed anything. One morning the shower broke slightly and they fixed it very promptly. Facilities are good. We played tennis, badminton, pétanque and mini-golf. Have to pay ten euros for the tennis court and a couple of euros extra for the rackets, but we were able to be on the court for as long as we wanted. It’s 2 euros for the mini golf to rent the clubs, balls and you get a scorecard and it was a fun course. With regards the boules and badminton you can use the equipment free of charge. The pool isn’t massive but it was sufficient and we even managed to have it to ourselves one afternoon. Lots of chairs and sun loungers outside and it never really gets busy, which we found relaxing. There’s nothing really in walking distance so it’s good to have a car to get around.

Pros: Location and the building
Cons: Needs updating.. mostly inside.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room of appartement is clean, nice view on the balcony and the staff is very friendly
Cons: The corridor is dirty, when I was there the lift is out of service, there is no sponge to washing or clean the kitchen ( that they write you must clean by your self before check out ). Hammam, sauna, and pool are out of service
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms facilities. Well equipped kitchenette. Excellent to find both a toaster and a kettle. Very comfortable bed. Excellent views. Small but well formed site. Basement parking with modern lift access.
Cons: It would be nice to see a bigger television. Something that appears to be low priority on the continent.
5.8 Okay
Pros: they had a tennis court
Cons: there was no bar, the pool closed at 6pm, reception was closed
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is like you are in heaven
Cons: Memorable stay......
6.3 Good
Pros: The place is beautifully located, both the castle and the apartment houses are charming. Apartments are well equipped and the staff is friendly. The only big minus for us was the cleanliness. Simply, it was dirty.. we do not mind older furniture etc, but we did expect the place to be clean. It wasn't...
Cons: As mentioned above.. we had mold in the fridge, the acilities were not clean. We had to complain and it has been cleaned immediately. Still, it was fast cleaning and using one cloth for all.. we bought our own cleaning materials and cleaned the kitchen, toilet and bathroom.. that is not what you expect on the first day of holiday

Pros: Very quiet neighbourhood.
Cons: Check-in pushed back to 18:00 PM, but check-out next morning already at 10:00 AM. Difficult to convince 1 additional hour in the morning (in the end people go there in vacation...) Toilets shared with all rooms on the hallway. Very minimalistic breakfast: 1 croissant and jams only. Remote place, needed car to drive into town. Definitely not worth 150€/night! (actually only a couple of hours...)
6.3 Good
Cons: Quite a long way out of Fecamp
