Staff was great and we loved the coffee cafe.

The room was lovely and most importantly very quiet. The breakfast was very good - rather expensive, but worth it.

It was the perfect choice. Everything was fine.

There was a "Neues Testament" in my hotel room which is not acceptable (>> Cleanliness of room). I don't care what others believe but I do not accept other people pushing their stupid ideology onto me.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

very expensive for the service provided. no free internet, no double toileterie despite being a double room. At €140 a night one would expect a bit more quality than a Travel lodge hotel but it didn't. Won't use it again.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful, professional, and friendly. The hotel rooms, although small, were modern, comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was meager and picked over. We were told breakfast was included in our room rate by an employee in the dining room only to be charged for it when we checked out. Very overpriced compared to other hotels we stayed at for what they offered.

This hotel was amazing in every aspect. We had the 2-bedroom 2-bath apartment for two nights and it was a great value, and totally fantastic! Rooms were spacious even by American standards and the baths were huge and spa-like. Staff was friendly and fun and very helpful from reception to concierge to restaurant. We will definitely look to stay in another Arcotel property in the future.

Room was clean and well appointed, Staff were very helpful (and spoke English!), breakfast (extra cost 14euros) was very good. Great central location for travelling around the city.

The wifi is a ridiculous joke -- very slow, drops constantly, and when I asked the front desk attendant for a room with good service, she put me in the room furthest from the server. I had to stand in the hallway to reconnect, repeatedly.

had very high expectation from it before we arrived due to its history & the introduction from the guide book. unfortunately it turned out that we only liked the location of it.

the management. stayed there for two days. toilet paper was almost out in the first day, but no additional was added. we had to ask for it by ourselves the next morning after running out of it. The heater didn't really work in the first day, either, even though it was fixed the next day after we notified the front desk during the night. The guy taking care of the problem at 4:00am after we were awoke by the cold temperature didn't seem to feel sorry about the situation. maybe we were being too polite during that time? obviously something wrong with the management of this hotel.

Unfortunately the rooms are a bit tiny.

It was very quiet on a side street.

Wifi coverage was highly variable. If I sat at the desk the signal was weak to non-existent some times. If I moved 2m to an adjacent dressing area, it was very strong.

A non-English speaking, but very nice lady greeted us. So, communication was a little difficult. Breakfast was great.

We booked a double room, and they gave us two singles. That did not work out too well for us. Also, the area was a bit far from the train station, so you really need a car.

About 2km from the S-bahn station means that the hotel location for anyone wishing to visit Stuttgart who does not have a car is not particularly good. For this hotel, just need to make it clear that it is a non-smoking hotel.

An old fashioned, fairly basic sort of a hotel - but perfectly adequate for business travel. Clean, comfortable rooms, if a little dark. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast.

Some BBC World News or CNN would be handy on the telly.

too dry & cold

We were assigned a smoking room, and after my wife woke up the first morning with an allergic reaction, we were told they could not move us to a clean room until the day AFTER that, so essentially we lost two days of our vacation to breathing in their nasty, smoky room. Also, despite the "Free WiFi", statement, only WiFi in the lobby is free and it explicitly does not permit e-mail usage! Once we paid for in-room Internet access, we found that other services were blocked! This hotel deserves no business from anyone who needs Internet access until they deal with their incompetent WiFi provider!

This hotel was really bad. Right from reception , room , breakfast , internet etc. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

The friendly and helpful owners

Personal touches - the owner had even looked up our little village in England to find out they used to manufacture tractors! Very helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble (extra pillow for bed, Nescafe instead of normal coffee for my partner), very clean (of course, being Germany!), and we had the luxury of 2 ensuites in our room. Healthy food for breakfast, mini Haribo jelly bears on the pillow after room cleaned. Walking distance of public transport. Both owners spoke English, useful as my partner doesn't speak German. English BBC channel on TV. Very reasonably-priced wine, mineral water.

It was quite good to visit to the porche museum.

It was walking distance to the Porcshe Museum which was our only purpose for coming to Stuttgart.

The extra bed we requested for was not comfortable.

现金结帐不方便，房费282EUR，给500EUR居然找不出，无奈只好用信用卡。The payment with cash is not convenient. The bill is 282EUR.They has no change for my 500EUR, which surprised me really. I have to pay it with credit card that day.

Very quiet area, 10 minute drive by car to the city center, a great family hotel with special corner with games for children, small swimming pool, sauna and spa (not free), great breakfast, convenient parking.

Definitely not a 4 star judging by our room: the room was very small, the shower room was tiny.

No way to control the climate of my room

Location and sevice were excellent.Possibility of a smolking room is much appreciated.Also the parking facilities.

Sometimes ordering in the bar/lounge took a very long time

They overbooked the hotel and had no room for me despite me having prepaid. Then they sent me somewhere else that was homey, but certainly less expensive. So I ended up paying more and getting less. I would have preferred they refund my money and I find another place on my own.

Very dirty,in the room and the carpet on the hallway was very dirty .in the room I found urine on the toilet.the mirror in the bathroom was full of dust, thinks from previous guest.(burn matches and beer cap).

Centrally located in a pretty town, rooms clean and comfortable. Good bathroom

We stayed twice within 10 days and had booked a double room for each seperate night. On each stay we were given the same twin room. Car parking spaces are limited at rear of hotel, and on second night our car had to be left in the Town main car park (free to hotel guest), which was a bit of a faff.

Located right by the S-Bahn station and bus stop but soundproofing excellent so no noise. Short walk to shops etc. Excellent restaurant. Tea making facilities in the room.

Breakfast was expensive (20 euros) and not included in price.
