Pros: Amazing experience! Nice stuff! Such a peaceful and beautiful place! Everything was correct with attention on the small details.
Pros: The hotel is really nice. Really stylish and very comfortable. I ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. I also arrived by motorcycle after having a small fall earlier in the day but the hotel staff were so sympathetic and helpful in getting me to hospital for a check up and then they couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable. I had also booked a bubble room but the staff changed it to a standard room to make me more comfortable but also because the weather was poor and no chance to enjoy the night sky.
Cons: Not much. It is expensive but this adds a little to the exclusivity
Pros: Great location and amazing experience !
Cons: Really great but a bit expensive for the level of service.
Hotel Sercotel Tudela Bardenas enjoys a privileged setting in the historic city of Tudela, on the banks of the River Ebro in Spain´s Navarre region. Any day of the week you can relax with a choice of over 100 beers in the Scottish-style bar. The hotel offers dailybreakfast buffet. The hotel is 10 minutes' walk from Tudela's Old Town. Bárdenas Desert is 10 km away, and the Sendaviva Nature Reserve is 15 km away.
Cons: I booked double bed rooms and was only told single bed rooms was available as hotel was fully booked, the hotel did not seem busy and I belive they give out the cheaper rooms if booked on a cheap deal site.
Pros: To be able stay at the hotel with our dogs and the room was a good size by comparison to some.
Cons: Because we have dogs it would have been nice to order dinner and eat it in our room, but on this occasion it wasn't possible. This may be possible under normal circumstances but when we stayed it was during the coronavirus and so things were very much not normal.
Pros: Not much
Cons: No view in the room we were allocated. It was a family room which for a couple was very cramped. Not
Pros: Convenient location not far from the motorway. Comfortable room with a well appointed shower room. Helpful staff. Great value for money.
Pros: The Location for this hotel is good, just from a short walk to the center and where all the restaurants and stores are. The room was pretty tidy, service was perfect and the Bar downstairs was very cool too.
Cons: As the rooms are renovated, the Air conditioning system is not and was a bit loud.
Pros: Not a lot, the pub type restaurant was awful and the food quality poor.
Cons: Restaurant closed, expensive for what it was especially with dogs and parking.
With a stay at Hotel Santamaría in Tudela, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Puente Sobre. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The room and the parking space
Cons: The bar was pleasant but somewhat basic
Pros: Location was very good. As it was pouring with rain, it was close to the amenities we wanted.
Cons: Bed was a bit hard for us. But overall a good night.
Pros: Breakfast is brilliant! Ideal for us as an overnight stop with 2 pets.Staff friendly, everything was arranged as expected re our stay.Would be ideal for anyone wanting to explore the town & wanting a basic hotel.Bar/restaurant attached to hotel very friendly,& plenty of other places to eat nearby.Secure parking available nearby, for extra fee.
Pros: I was traveling for work.
Pros: Clean and well organised re Covid-19
Cons: Clean and good food and drink available
Pros: It was clean. Bathroom was really nice.
Cons: The mattresses were really hard. The insulation wasn’t good. We could hear people talking in the room next door, people snoring and people moving chairs or beds above us. People coming in and out of their room were noisy as their doors were slammed. There could be a system to prevent the doors from slamming. Also the extra bed was really hard and very short.
Pros: The reception staff were absolutely excellent.
Pros: Lovely bathroom, nice beds, although double not big enough so we booked a twin room. . Great to have a balcony. Very close to old town and river. River area great for dog walking. Helpful Receptionist. Very good breakfast. Very clean.
Cons: Difficult to park. You have to try and pull up somewhere to go to reception and get parking info. Parking is down the road. You can't use the staircase as the doors are locked, so walking down steep ramp is not suitable for some people. I booked a large twin room which was an extra charge as we had our dog. But we ended up with a triple room, so it wasn't a large room at all. Spare bed was just in the way.

Pros: The building is lovely and the room was spacious. We were upgraded to a superior queen and the extra space was appreciated as was the balcony. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The free coffee and water in the lobby was great!
Cons: Limited parking but it wasn’t a problem as the hotel wasn’t busy.
Pros: Very comfortable ,and staff excellent
Cons: Poor restaurant,and dreadful musac!
Pros: The room and staff and location for overnight stay on the way home .
Cons: breakfast staff standing behind waiting to take plates although they where cery bice and helpful
Pros: Location close to the centre. Parking, we arrived early to get a place. Good breakfast, comfortable bed and spacious room.
Cons: Nothing, except not being able to pre-book parking.
Pros: We like this hotel and have stayed there many times, but it is closed because of the covid virus, and we could not travel to Spain. However we have not had our deposit refunded.!
Cons: We have not had our deposit refunded!
Pros: Location excellent between Barcelona and Santander/Bilbao for car ferries. Bedroom and was comfortable and had a small terrace . Town interesting. On The Camino route. Night we arrived was a festival evening, very busy, Christmas lights, restaurants full, millions of children enjoying themselves in 3c temperatures. All building well lit especially nearby main square, enormous, full of restaurants! The Cathedral is outstanding both at night and the following morning when we visited it. However, the town is best seen at night!
Cons: Your site said that secure parking was available - it wasn't so we had to park in the street. The receptionist said that it was full. I have a photograph showing one vehicle in this gated area! As we were on our way home, the car was full of valuables and street parking filled us with horror, particularly as the hotel is situated a short walk to the town centre and on this night parking was at a premium. Not a good advert for an otherwise pleasant overnight stop. Next year we will book earlier!
Pros: Snack bar. Breakfast
Cons: There’s no swimming pool
Pros: Good selection for breakfast. Room comfortable. Parking in private gated car park at rear.
Cons: No availability of evening meal.
Pros: Great location if you're travelling. Center of town is quite near and it's cute for a small town. Good options to eat. The reception guy was super helpful and really pleasant. Breakfast is good, with variety and freshness, extra point for the freshly squeezed orange juice. Closed parking is always a security plus.
Cons: Nothing bad to point out.
Pros: There is always plenty to eat drink
Pros: Great overnighter/ excellent staff/ made very welcome/ good breakfast.
Pros: The secure parking is excellent and a real bonus. Breakfast great plentiful buffet including hot scrambled eggs bacon and Spanish sausage
Cons: Only problem lack of restaurants open nearby.
Pros: Perfect quality value for money .. Ideal overnight stop. Very impressed with food quality for price,
Pros: Excellent access and parking for wheelchair user. Very well appointed, light, modern, and very comfortable. Staff were excellent, friendly, and very helpful. We will definitely use this hotel again.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
Pros: Everything! Helpful, friendly staff with good command of English, modern & stylish, everything clean & comfortable, no noise in or outside the hotel, safe & secure parking, fabulous breakfast...all in all, better than the very best Holiday Inn Xpress. Highly recommended as a stop-over for long distance travellers....
Cons: More English TV channels and/or TV access for a Chromecast connection would be useful, but not a deal-breaker.
Pros: Friendly staff more than helpful spotless hotel
Cons: Everything perfect
With a stay at Hotel Delta in Tudela, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Puente Sobre. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The location is excellent — situated between the combined bus/train station and the historic centre (10 minuts' walk in either direction). I suspect the hotel was once run by the NH chain (?), so the decor is fairly modern and the facilities are good. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was fine — clean and modern — but it had one of those complicated showers that squirt water at you from multiple directions. I know lots of people regard these as luxurious, but I just want a simply shower that doesn't take several minutes to work out! But that's a minor gripe. It was a great place to stay, and at a good price.
Cons: Very enjoyable stay. No problems.
Pros: Hotel perfect for overnighting short walk to the car park.
Pros: Hotel was clean and staff were good and accepted dogs.
Cons: Location - on a main road in town centre, noisy: hotel facilities very limited: room was small and noisy - didn't stay for breakfast. Nowhere to walk our dogs! car parking is extra (18 euro for 1 night) and remote from hotel - local area is tired. Not up for a revisit!!
Pros: Modern facility located on main thoroughfare. Within 10 minute walk from railroad station. Near shops and a variety of tapas restaurant bars. Walking community.
Pros: Bed comfy
Cons: Room and bathroom tired. No Handrail to get out of shower
With a stay at Hostal Remigio, you'll be centrally located in Tudela, within a 15-minute drive of Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Puente Sobre. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly clean comfortable. Ideal location. Made dogs very welcome
Pros: At downtown
Cons: Smell tobacco in the room
Pros: Excellent position, building work at the back created loads of dust the poor man was sweeping relentlessly
Cons: Great style of property
Pros: Nice and clean small room. Fine breakfast. They had a place where I could lock my bicycle in.
Pros: Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, great WiFi. It was very cold outside but our room was lovely and warm. Perfect location right in the heart of Tudela. We were able to park nearby in a pay section but there is also a free car park a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Cons: Only tepid water for a shower the morning we left.
Pros: The staff and location. Would have been better if Covid virus could have allowed a proper assessment.
Cons: Difficult to judge because of lockdown.
Pros: the location was excellent with good private parking breakfast was a very satisfactory.*
Cons: The time limiting lighting in the stairs and corridors was too short leaving one in darkness in unfamiliar surroundings.
With a stay at Hotel Palacios, you'll be centrally located in Alfaro, within a 15-minute drive of Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Mirador de las Ciguenas. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The atmosphere
Cons: A gem
Pros: Staff were very good.
Pros: The staff were amazing. The evening meal was very good for E12. The Breakfast was exceptional.
Pros: Efficient, very friendly reception staff. Spotlessly clean, large room, twin beds but pushed together, great breakfast included in the price, super value, cheap wine and beer in the cafe bar, restaurant also on site, but as is usual in Spanish hotels doesn't start serving till 8.30pm. Large car-park (car seemed safe even with bags full of stuff on the back seat), lots of suggestions for local tourism. We will definitely be back to explore the wider area. In comparison with most of the chain hotels, especially in France, Palacios stands out as really special. Special thanks to the guy in the bar who spoke perfect English - and Italian, French & obviously Spanish. He went out of his way to help with our vegetarian requirements.
Cons: No real vegetarian option on the cafe menu - but this is true of most of Spain. Often include Atun/tuna in their vegetable sandwiches. Plenty of Torilla though! The immediate surroundings of Alfaro are less than inviting, made worse by major roadworks just outside of town. Don't be fooled. The town itself is a real gem and this hotel is excellent in every respect.
Pros: staff and location
Pros: The location to town petrol station and handy for the motorway
Cons: It was in a great location good parking, very clean, comfortable, staff very friendly, great amenities and excellent breakfast. Excellent value for money and pet friendly.
Centrally located, this traditional 19th century house is 50 metres from Plaza de los Fueros Square and 5 minutes’ walk from the Tudela Cathedral. It offers an outdoor terrace and rooms with free Wi-Fi. All rooms at La Posada de San Marcial have been carefully decorated and feature rustic-style furniture and plenty of natural light. Each air-conditioned room has a shared bathroom. This charming guest house features a communal kitchen, a lounge area and a terrace where you can relax. La Posada de San Marcial is 10 minutes’ walk from the Torre Monreal Watchtower.
Cons: Very uncomfortable beds
Pros: The owner was really friendly and helpful. Even if i dont speak spanish she gave me a map and explain me the city. The bed was comfortable and my room was warm. There was also a small kitchen. I really recommend this Hostel
Pros: Balcony outside room and lounge and bathroom all good
Cons: No kettle needs a small hob so you can cook some food
Pros: Great location, easy check-in. English!
Pros: very good location, very good parking facilities (7 euro for 24 hours) Nice bedroom. friendly (only Spanish speaking) staff. Nice sitting lounge to share with other guests. Good wi-fi. Large clean bathroom with good shower to share with other guests. This sharing explains the price. It's very good value for money, but you have to share facilities and make your own breakfast or go out to have breakfast like we did. Very good breakfast at bar Rituals only 50 m away.
Located in Gravalos, Balneario De Gravalos is within a 15-minute drive of Centro de Interpretacion Paleontologica de La Rioja and Centro de Rapaces y Granja Escuela de Tudejen. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast is good and the bedroom with a balcony with nice views. Very quiet place. Smell sulphuric water, but that is normal if it is a natural spring.
Cons: Both saunas were not working. Temperature in the dry sauna was 45 degrees, so no sauna. Other sauna no steam.
Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: Unable to get food in the cafeteria at 2.30 pm (open until 11 pm) but only serving drinks. Having failed to get food earlier we were unable to eat in the restaurant at night as we had not booked. The restaurant never had more than 3 couples in it the whole evening - we could see it from the cafeteria where we were able to get light dishes. The obliging waitress was trying to cope with the cafeteria on her own - with people like us unable to eat in the restaurant Disappointed that at a spa there was no pool in which to swim- website misleading with its tall of a pool - which there is but only with warm water and sprays etc. All very nice but not the same as having a proper swim.
Pros: Good with the dog
Cons: Air con in room wasn’t effective. Maintenance man looked and said it was working and marched off leaving us in hit room. Good times are limited
Pros: Modern hotel possibly from the 1970s, at the border of a very small village. Not much of a cuisine in the village, so you are left with the hotel restaurant only. Large free open parking. Efficient and very friendly staff at the reception and in the spa and very friendly but much less efficient staff in the restaurant and spa ( nearly no english spoken ). Sufficiently spacious rooms and bathrooms, all very well kept and clean including the spa. It is a health spa with hot mineral water. The spa is open only in some very exact hours, in between guests should rest. The Spa itself with hot and wet sauna and inside hot pool containing several whirl pools is included in the price; concerning this the hotel offers a _ r e a l l y _ o u t s t a n d i n g _ relation value for money. But additonal health applications are rather or even very expensive. WIFI in the afternoon rather poor, but quite well in the night.
Cons: Completely in contrast to the health spa most of the food was very heavy in calories or even in fat; many things deep fried or very fat pork. Food quality in the sense of taste rather mediocre or even poor. Breakfast buffet ok, but not too much variety. You have to book your times for the spa and for the restaurant in advance and have to respect them quite exactly. This is no problem for guests who will stay at least for one week but could be a problem for those to stay only one night. But I did really have an excellent white wine for dinner.
Pros: We were able to have our little dog there. Lovely view in daylight, quiet, nice starter and dessert for our meal.
Cons: It was soulless, smelt heavily of sulphur, because it is a spa maybe? Not overly friendly staff other than one waitress who was charming. Very tough steak.
Pros: Staff was helpful and kind.
Located in Corella, Hotel Ciudad de Corella is in the suburbs, within a 10-minute drive of Fortress of Sao Joao Baptista Church and Bodegas Chivite. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The receptionist asked me to follow her to the cafe where she would get me the wifi code from behind the bar, when I followed her behind the bar the bar man began shouting at me aggressively saying "No no, get out". The receptionist apologised profusely although she had done nothing wrong but the aggressive bar man just continued grunting to himself. Otherwise all other staff were nice.
Pros: Staff friendly
Cons: Should not be charged to change dates Ie cancelled ferry 10 euro per dog per night unreasonable price
Pros: The lift
Cons: Big tv !!
Pros: Receptionist was very helpful. Rooms and facilities very clean.
Cons: Bed was quite firm.
Pros: Good value and warm and comfortable, plenty of room
Pros: Easy access off the motorway. The polite and friendly manner of the receptionist.Large spotlessly clean and modern room.Absolutely met our overnight stay needs for onward travel through France
Cons: Wi Fi / internet connection tended to drop in the room - strong in public areas
Pros: Very close to the motorway to travel through that area of Spain Very nice accommating staff.
With a stay at Hostal La Parrilla in Tudela, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Puente Sobre. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Local atmosphere and Hostal staff
Cons: Concern with car parking
Pros: The bar was nice, and the prices were good. The location was perfect for us - on the edge of town, after a long drive, the walk into the heart of the town was a bonus. The restaurant menu was very varied and very good value. The room was spotlessly clean, a little noisy at night (street noise) and no soundproofing between rooms. The parking was just superb, very secure and nice big spaces (we sometimes struggle with our 4x4 and tight parking).
Pros: there was no breakfast available
Cons: we spent all night listening to the person next door snore really loudly, a very noisy place
Pros: Very good hotel for the money. Near the restaurant.
Pros: This place is great! Rooms are very big and perfectly clean, beds comfortable, we LOVED staying here! The lady from the front desk (Olga) was always positive and very helpful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Pros: Parking is easy and free.
Cons: The walls are paper thin, you can hear people snoring next door.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Evening food available.
Cons: although we managed to get secure parking it could not be pre-booked. The local area is very tight for parking in the street and for travellers like us returning to UK after a 3 month stay in Spain with a car full of luggage, we would not have been happy having to park on the street.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Took my husband to local car park. We didn't speak Spanish and they got a nice young boy and at dinner one of the staff's daughter to translate for us. Nice clean room.
Cons: Had to go to the town to have coffee, as functions were going on in hotel. Nothing to eat/drink until 9pm, which was not good after 6hr journey. No hair dryer in room. Booked breakfast but had to go to bar and buy separately. Nobody in hotel. Could do with curtains as room overlooked.
Located in Castejon, Hotel Elvilla Castejon is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Mirador de las Ciguenas. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Value for money especially for food, parking and space around hotel
Cons: Back of hotel needing some TLC
Pros: Excellent location for a stopover travelling through Spain . Excellent dinner and the staff were very helpful especially Maria in the restaurant .
Pros: Stayed with our little dog lovely room with a balcony dog friendly bar in hotel. Excellent buffet in hotel resturant.
Pros: The breakfast was very, very good. The choice was very large and would accommodate all tastes.
Pros: Spacious rooms. Buffet style meals, with plenty of choice, quality food, not too expensive.
Pros: Have stayed before and will go back Great for our trips back and forth from UK to Spain with the dog
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean and comfortable. Pet friendly
Pros: Excellent location for a one night en route visit. Provided bowl, bed and biscuits for our dog. The staff were excellent, all was very clean and the food in the restaurant very good too. Sitting in the sun on the balcony was great. Very quiet.
Cons: The only thing was the sink plug got stuck so it would not empty, nothing serious. Also there was a bit of a sewage smell in the bathroom.
Located in Cascante, Ruralsuite Hotel Apartmentos is on the riverwalk, a 3-minute drive from Basilica of Our Lady of Romero and 8 minutes from Puente Sobre. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a train station pick-up service for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly welcome by the Hosts. Suite was very well equipped, extremely clean, bed very comfortable and we were well looked after. I think we stayed at the end of their season and dinner (which was gorgeous) was personally cooked and delivered to our suite followed by dessert. We highly recommend these apartments.
Pros: This was a short one night stay. Very comfortable and clean.
Cons: We were the only guests at the property and as a result the restaurant was closed. So..... no evening meal possible wthout a drive to the nearest town and a very rudimentary breakfast, just a snack really. Would have been good to know about this in advance as we would have prepared for it.
Located in Cintruenigo, Hotel Alhama is within a 5-minute drive of Bodegas Chivite and Fortress of Sao Joao Baptista Church. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The beds weren't comfy
Cons: Plenty of room
Cons: Book having paid extra for pool which was shown in photos, only to learn that it was municipal, a quarter mile away. No restaurant as it was closed on Sunday evening, even though told by staff that it was open. Not good.
Pros: A good place to break a long journey. The breakfast was basic but everything else was good.
Cons: The staff were great and very helpful.
Pros: Very good staff
Pros: Lovely friendly and welcoming. Helpful staff. Walking distance to restaurants and family evening out. Approx 10 miles from Bardenas Reales.
Cons: No lift or aid for bags
Pros: The location was 10min sfrom town centre, good stop off for a night, old furnishings, restaurant was recommmended by people in the town although we didnt eat there in the end. Very friendly receptionist.
With a stay at Torre Monreal Hotel in Tudela, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Torre Monreal. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious clean and comfortable room. Secure parking
Cons: No hotel bar
Pros: The secure underground car park..
Cons: It's a hostal not a hotel... grubby , showers old .
Pros: Hotel close to old town - approx 5 minute walk to old town Good car parking beneath hotel which you access using a lift which is different Room a good size - Beds were OK Bathroom was a nice size and shampoo etc provided
Cons: There was an air conditioning unit in the room but it was at the far end of the room which meant we had to have the unit on high to get the benefit of the cold air ( it was a very hot day and a warm night) There was a noise coming from the lift all night - it seemed to be in constant use!
Pros: Ideally situated with easy access to the motorway and only a five minute walk to the town centre. Secure underground parking.
Pros: Good location near to square, good hotel and value for money
Pros: Location was just a short walk from the town centre, cold buffet breakfast was included and there was no additional cost for our pet dog. We spoke very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English but worked very hard to ensure all was well.
