The room was small, but in a great location right by downtown. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind and helpful, even making conversation with my 4 yr old. I have 2 concerns…the first, the rooms are remodeled, but definitely could’ve been cleaned better. The second being the loud tenets. Yelling in Spanish until 130 am and then again starting at 6am. I called the office and didn’t get an answer. Overall, good deal for what we got…but the cleanliness and other occupants yelling all night and morning was rough.
Pros:Good value for price! The name says it all, "Traveler's Inn". This isn't a spa or a resort. This is a clean bed, a hot shower, and a safe parking lot to get off the road overnight, AND reliable Wi-Fi! We were pleasantly surprised with the size of our room, though we probably had one of the larger ones. It was two adults and one child, and we had ample space. The front desk clerk was amicable and helpful with directions. Many people complained online about the trains, located just across the street, but for us- not used to seeing trains regularly, found them charming and interesting. Honestly, we'll probably stay again for a night or two while we tour the area or go hiking nearby. I have no real complaints. It's just not a fancy-schmancy sort of place, but if that's okay with you, this is an exceptional value.
Cons:TV was on the fritz, but we checked in so late, we didn't want to call the front desk at that hour.
