Pros. Friendly staff. Large room and big comfortable bed. Location very handy fro the railway station and pretty much everywhere else. Exterior was shabby and it turned our hotel occupied only the second floor of a four storey building. I soon realized this sort of thing is fairly common in Florence. But our hotel, once inside was clean, friendly and we had a huge room with the best shower ever.
Cons. Window opened on to enclosed courtyard (from second floor). But the payoff was zero street noise. Hotel was nice and quiet.
