Found this to be the best 'bang for your buck' in the area and booked one night. My family really liked it.
The staff was very friendly! When we were checking in, there was another group who was having difficulty with their reservations and the lady helping them was very apologetic and trying her hardest to help them. One of the people with us needed to do some laundry while on our trip and they were very helpful with that by providing laundry detergent.
There definitely are no frills here, but I think the bed was brand new and everything was clean and tidy. I rolled in around 1AM and the front desk guy was still friendly and efficient. I was in my bed less than five minutes after I pulled up! I mean, the view is somewhat lacking and the bathroom fixtures are a little old. You get what you pay for, y'know?
Our room was clean and beds were decent for the price. Location was good for us & price was very competitive. kids enjoyed the pool. if you're looking for a clean place to lay your head for the night it's fine. Not a destination hotel. It was noisy so near the highway & our room smelled of old smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Maybe from a neighboring room?
I guess the wifi was okay. The room service staff was nice. There never, ever was hot water in the hot water jug during breakfast. Caterpillars everywhere; in the room, in the corridors.. The shower's curtain rail was off from the wall. It was nearly impossible to get the balance between sizzling hot and luke warm water in the shower. VERY loud refrigerator in the room; could barely sleep. Also VERY loud heater in the room... Occasionally weird staff: they came up to my room to ask me if I'll just leave my room on my last day, or gonna check out properly. I don't know what kind of guests they have... Although they were nice enough to take and secure my package that I had ordered from Amazon at the front desk, they just gave them to me willy-nilly, without even checking an ID.
The staff was very professional and friendly Hotel had a stuffy smell to it. Breakfast area was hard to negotiate through.

We had ants in our room, fitness room, &the dining area. Our room was never cleaned the entire time we were there. We had to ask 4 times for towels, washclothes, coffee, etc. to be restocked and for trash to be taken out. Staff never addressed complaints. Staff was rude. Laundry room smelled like backed up sewage.
Breakfast, newly renovated rooms, clean place, most of desk workers helpful. Very noisy at night - people in the halls shouting, dogs barking, children running in the halls until after 11pm.Needed help with printing boarding pass/ desk clerk was not willing or able - just said that the machine was working. Late room cleaning.
Nothing The pool and spa were closed. The jacuzzi tub room we paid extra for did not exist. Management unwilling to give any kind of concession for inconvenience. Entire building under construction and it reeked of paint and new carpet smells.
Recently remodeled rooms were in very good condition.
Nice large rooms We picked this hotel because it had a whirlpool which is good therapy for my back and neck. It was not working on Thursdaysday when we camet through going East and it still was not working when we. Came back going west. Will they ever get it fixed?
People who worked in b'fast area and cleaning and front desk very helpful and friendly. 4th floor had stale smoke odor and looked very dated in rooms. Understand updating will take place beginning in Dec. Will help immensely. No one came to clean room or make bed second day - had left sign on door to not disturb, by accident the first day.
The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and relatively quiet, the breakfast had a decent (but quite typical) selection of items.
Nice room. Clean. Good location. Had to move. First room TV did not work. Not enough towels in second room. Elevator did not work day of check out.
Location. Good breakfast selections. nice decor I was given a 'handicapped'room on the 4th floor...cant imagine anyone who used a wheelchair getting all the way up there. Not much in the fitness center.
The breakfast. The entrance is not very well lit or marked. Had a hard time finding the entrance.
Beds are horrible. Sleeping on concrete would be more comfortable. Water was under a boil order, so you think they would get u bottled water, no. Free Breakfast is a joke. Couldn't use ice machine because the water was under boil order. You think they would've went to Schnuck's and got donuts for the free breakfast since you couldn't drink any juice or make any oatmeal due to boil order. TV didn't work as well since the receptacle was broke. Contacted front desk three different occasions, and never got called back about a possible refund of a little of the bill. Way overpriced, pretty clean, but bring your own pillow and mattress, their's are no good unless you want a back ache for a week.
In town for a wedding and this was the only hotel left. Location was not bad but you get what you pay for Running the AC constantly to try and get the muggy damp air out of the room did nothing. It smelled damp and a little musty but I'm guessing they don't get a lot of people staying there so the rooms stay empty. Room was ok for $80. Breakfast was a joke. Cereal (stale), waffles, and yogurt was it. I know it wasn't a hot breakfast but they could've had a little variety.
The best part of our visit was checking out of this place. Smelled moldy. A loud refrigerator kept us awake all night. Stained sheets. Worst of all, valuables were stolen from our locked rooms when we went to dinner. Not a security camera in the place. Hallways feel very unsafe! Staff is almost hilariously bad at customer service.
The staff was very friendly! The woman at the front desk noticed that people were planning a party near the room we booked, and she moved our room for us! The staff was very helpful!
Plenty of rooms available! 1. Table lamp on counter: no convenient elect. receptacle. 2. Very spartan. 3. Terribly dirty window to outside. 4. Mattress old and w/ old bedclothes. 5. Shower spray merely dribbled water. 6. Towels clean, but harsh feeling, not soft. 7. No vent in bathroom .....something on the wall but no switch any- where. 8. no room coffee maker. 9. Wall color mustard yellow.....from1960's.
It was very near the family I was visiting. Built many years ago to be a Holiday Inn -- but Regency took over after Motel 6 owned it. The current owners are just letting it run down. Half the lobby is closed off with black plastic (used to be dining area?). Room was comfortable (for the low price we paid), but certainly not up to family standards. Needs redecorating, but doesn't appear likely...as the area (between St Louis and Wentzel) appears to have come upon hard times as well.
The hotel was large and the room was spacious. The sheets were white and the bathroom was clean. The rooms were also quiet and did not seem to have paper thin walls. The Front Desk Clerk in the evening was very friendly and helpful. The hotel seemed dated. It looks as if it was very nice in his day, but has become somewhat run down within the years.
Hotel staff was friendly
Comfy beds and clean linens. Plenty of room for my mom and me to share for 2 nights while attending a family function. We were basically there for a place to sleep each night, so we didn't need lots of luxury. Grounds and building seemed in good condition. Didn't have time to use the pool but it looked inviting. Breakfast was passable....cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast, juice, make your own waffles. Room smelled musty as soon as we walked in and was almost not noticeable by the time we left 2 days later. Found a dead tick on the floor while looking for a dropped earring. Not a very friendly greeting by the receptionist when we came in the door to check in. Was asked in a somewhat grouchy tone if I had a reservation. Then she mentioned she'll have to check me in the "hard way" because I booked via the internet. I only took several minutes to hand me the room cards, but it just seemed like I was putting her out by wanting to check in while she was hanging the "no vacancy" signs on all the doors. Breakfast area almost not large enough for number of guests using, and I came around an hour before it was to end.
It was perfect for I was doing it was just a small little bedroom with cable TV Wi-Fi a refrigerator and bathroom The floors were cold no matter how warm the room was
it was clean and a place to lay are heads down the address was wrong we had to jump through hoops to find the place

Nothing it was horrible! !! Very dirty. Verrrrrry dirty!!!! My daughter was afraid to shower without shoes on & there were dead flies all over the room.
Friendly staff, clean, convenient location. It was an okay place to sleep and shower. Noise from outside and room above.
the cleanliness of room when first arrived. hard to understand--spoke very little English. They rented an marked non smoking room to smokers and supplied them with an ashtray. When they cleaned the room they did not give u clean cups each day, which they should have when u are paying daily rate.

Un lugares tranquil para descansar
Not one thing. I WILL remember this place. The. Motel is NOT located as advertised. We were around 45min from the place of the meeting instead of 10.When I told the owner (which is very hard to understand) the motel isnt in the advertised place he said he knew this.I think he counted on that fact.
Close to our kids. Room was clean and comfortable with refrigerator and microwave and extra sink. Staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. We'll stay there again on our next trip to St. Louis.
Great value. Not only was my room clean and comfortable, it included a refrigerator, good free Wi-Fi, and a large flat screen television,. Most importantly, staff were friendly, courteous, and committed to ensuring I had a good stay. Late checkout extended only 15 minutes.
It was close to a run we eere doing the next morning You have to pay per guest staying in the room $8. OurXXX room turned intoXXX & we already brought our iwn sleeping bags it was ridiculous.
