Pros: We found this hotel on the IHG site since they had recently merged.
Close to beach.
Easy access to Pacific Highway.
Staff at the hotel were friendly and genuinely happy with easygoing attitudes. It helped us relax and it made a difference.
We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and if we travel back to Huntington Beach this is where we will stay!
Cons: Not consistent with the way the room was cleaned. However, a quick phone call remedied our towel situation.
Fridge was fully stocked. Wish there would have been less items in the fridge so we could put our own drinks in. No biggie.
Pros: Close to beach, friendly staff. Was everything I was looking for in a beach side hotel. Wish I was able to stay for longer than one night.
Cons: I was caught off guard with the $35 mandatory valet fee.
Pros: The hotel is so cute, refreshing and close to the beach! Walking distance to everything! Loved it!!
Pros: The people who work here are wonderful. Everyone was friendly and professional. Location is great if you want to be in downtown Huntington Beach.
Cons: I've stayed at other Kimpton Hotels and found them quirky and charming. This one is a boutique hotel without the charm of a boutique hotel. They also charge a daily resort fee of $25 (plus $3 tax). In no way is this a resort. There is no pool, no spa and if you get a courtyard view room, no view of anything but the courtyard. As someone else noted, the parking fee is hight but it's consistent with charges for all the parking garages in the area.
Pros: nice spacious balcony
Cons: Was given a room on main floor almost directly off common area, but I suppose someone has to get that one... no ice machine on our floor. Balcony separated from neighbors' by a couple of floor planters--not very secure.
Pros: Clean hotel and friendly staff. Great location!
Pros: Hotel is 1 block from Main Street and view of the pier. Terrific stay.
Pros: This is a great location in Huntington Beach, across the street from the beach and the pier. We loved the cool factor of the hotel and the modern design. The casual beach atmosphere and friendly staff was a treat. We loved the free use of the bicycles.
Cons: Room did not have a couch/pullout bed like it was shown in the picture. Hotel did not want to work with me about switching rooms. Had to ask for blankets to build a bed on the floor.
Pros: We booked the hotel on a whim during our road trip and were very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the quality and and vibe of the hotel. It was in a great location really close to the beach, food and shopping. Friendly staff. Would stay again!
Cons: Having to sign up for a membership for the wifi was not ideal.
With a stay at Shorebreak, a Kimpton, you'll be centrally located in Huntington Beach, steps from Huntington Beach Pier and minutes from International Surfing Museum. This Bouituqe 4-star hotel is within close proximity of Huntington Beach shopping and dining, Art Center and Huntington Dog Beach.

Pros: We come back regularly. The hotel is well appointed and the staff is very professional. Rooms are comfortable and view to ocean side over fashion island is super. Oak Grill Room on the deck for breakfast is a treat.
Pros: Very nice & comfortable rooms
Wonderful staff. Very helpful & personable
Cons: Nothing. All was good
Pros: Excellent customer service.
Cons: Everything was great!
Pros: The location was perfect close to shops, restaurant with easy access. The hotel rooms were very comfortable & roomy. The staff was excellent, exceeded any expectations.
Cons: My toilet had some trouble flushing but aside from that no problems.
Please do not print that for public use.
Pros: everything except the HOT, HOT, HOT weather.
Cons: could not get hotel room cool enough in face of heat wave (25 degrees above expected temperature).
Pros: Great location - right across from Fashion Island shopping center. Easy access to restaurants, movies, shopping. Staff was very courteous and friendly. This was my second stay here. I would come back.
Cons: I think the valet parking fee was too high. There wasn't any options provided to self parking. You had no choice but to pay $32 parking fee.

Pros: The front door man Mike was excellent, always had the best smile and attitude each time we went in and out. Our bell hops to and from the hotel were also wonderful. Our server at the lounge was also excellent and attentive. This location is perfect since it has easy access to dining, shops and the freeway. We will definitely be back!
Cons: No negatives
Pros: Location. Starbucks inside hotel. Great bath amenities.
Cons: There was one issue with the bedding upon arrival. Other than that, was a very nice experience.
Pros: Maids never knocked, great black out curtains
Had a 5 night stay and everything was perfect
Unless they wanted me to get a free stay ????
Pros: Just steps away from the Segerstrom Theatre and across the street from South Coast Plaza. Well kept, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room was very comfortable and quiet.
Cons: We enjoyed the entire experience. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Pros: I love the Area and the building and its surroundings
Pros: Loved that I was able to do early check in and was offered complimentary late check out. Enjoyed the elegant atmosphere. The heated pool was our favorite. Walking distance to dinner and to the mall to do some shopping.
Cons: Parking was a bit expensive $27.00 to be exact.
Pros: It was clean, upper scale, and was treated well.
Cons: The staff at Check in was not exactly accommodating to the people in line. The gentlemen behind the counter was having a conversation about non work related subjects with a guest, although claiming it to be hotel and check in related, while we stood in line for 15-20 minutes. For a 4 star hotel, the check in process was not that of a 4 star rating. The check in process is more of a 1 star.
Pros: Love the incentive to forgo Housekeeping daily in exchange $5 voucher.
Cons: Some aspects seemed a little dates (ie the elevator, room furniture).
Pros: We paid $158 per night plus taxes and $20 per night self parking. It was convenient, clean, and comfortable. Front door staff and housekeeping were helpful and friendly.

Cons: They are charging you for a bottle of red wine that is in your room. They tell you as they are giving you the key that it's included in the price - well we didn't drink the wine nor did we want to pay for it. It doesn't matter that if you don't want it - you are paying for it anyway, how ridiculous!
Cons: Heat didn't work. Charged $28 for parking without alerting us in advance. Room was completely standard of any hotel. Room service forgot our dressing, and the food was subpar
Pros: Great room on marina.
Cons: It took over an hour to check in. Hotel did not have my Kayak reservation right and I had to spend a lot of time on the phone getting it straight.
Also, make sure you get a room with a water view.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating at the front desk, restaurants, housekeeping, and pool. Room was big and it was nice getting bottled water every day. Food at the restaurant (lunch) was surprisingly good and sitting outside by the bay was enjoyable.
Cons: Overall, the facility was "tired" and is in need of renovations. Especially, the pool area lounges and chairs were old and stained. We prefer fitted sheets (which these were not) and carpets throughout the hotel (room, elevator, halls) need attention. We were told by one of the maintenance personnel who was in our room to fix a sliding shutter door, that the hotel was be remodeled within the next 3 months which is encouraging.
Location was somewhat of a catch-22. It was nice being on the harbor but you really couldn't walk anywhere to shop or eat. Must have car if you want to go anywhere off site. Overall, we had a good time.
Pros: Our room had such a great view of the bay. It was very relaxing and quiet. We kept the balcony doors open almost the whole time! The staff was very polite and accommodating whenever we asked for anything.
Cons: The first room we were put in, the shutters were broken and would not close for privacy. As soon as I called down, they had someone come up and move us 5 doors down within minutes. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Pros: Rooms are very nice with 4 star amenities. mix of families, locals and travelers
Cons: First night room was noisy due to being close to event space. They switched rooms for me next night with an upgrade and waved resort fee. Very professional and accommodating staff.

Pros: The hotel was across the parking lot to the beach. Our room had a great view of the ocean. The terrace was large and we enjoyed sitting out watching and listening to the ocean.
Cons: The hotel advertised breakfast but did not have it. No big deal but they need to update this.
Pros: Location was good and staff was helpful.
Cons: Room was not clean, maids did not clean it on one day (3-night stay), internet didn't work, hot water took forever to get going, room was noisy, breakfasts discontinued. Doubt we would stay there again.
Pros: Great service, very clean. We will definitely stay there again!
Pros: The room was very clean and close to the beach (200 feet or so). You can park underneath the building. The lady running the place was very nice and helpful. It is close to the beach and good surfing ( 5 miles to Huntington Beach pier.)
Cons: The building just got painted beige but there were parts of the building which could be patched up.
Be careful swimming in Sunset Beach as their are round rays that can cut your feet and sharks who are eating the round rays.
Ask the lady about where it's ok to swim.
Pros: This hotel is exactly as some of the other comments have said. But this is very much a common sense hotel, if you don't have common sense well do the best you can while you enjoy your stay.
Hotel is 100 yards from the beach, minutes to state, and city beaches by car. Centrally located to some of SoCal best beach attractions and surfing locations.
Being an older beach hotel, they have done a great job updating the rooms and making sure your stay is up to standards. Only stayed one day but they where very helpful. Choose this place for the price and its location to LB and HB, Was not disappointed.
Cons: Only bad thing i can comment on was the layout of the breakfast area was a little tough to get into, but stay calm and work thru it. As like other places i dont stay at hotels for there donuts.
Featuring a rooftop terrace, Ocean Surf Inn & Suites puts you within a 10-minute drive of Huntington Beach Pier. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with flat-screen TVs and free wired Internet.
Pros: Reasonably priced. Across the street from the beach. Great staff all around.
Cons: Only one restaurant on premises.
Pros: The hotel's proximity to the beach is great. They have a wonderful restaurant with ocean views--very nice.
Cons: The walls are paper thin--you can hear everything from people talking to dogs barking (it's a pet friendly hotel). Also, the fridge in the room would start buzzing every hour and wake us up. The staff was not very polite when we asked if we could switch rooms (we paid for a nice ocean view room and instead got an ugly view of a construction site). The driver of the shuttle who took us to Main Street was telling us how much nicer the Hyatt down the street is (next time I'll stay there!).
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: The hot tub was closed the entire time. The gym was closed for one of the 3 days we were there. Valet parking is $35/day extra, bike rentals extra...no amenities and not cheap!!!
Pros: The manager was awesome!!! So understanding and helpful
Cons: The pictures did not show what the hotel looks like whatsoever. The lobby and facilities were extremely outdated, although the room was nice. The poolside service was awful-- we asked for water and he brought us bottles water and was going to charge us something like $5 per bottle so I asked for a cup of water instead, which he said they don't serve because "it tastes bad." But he served it to the person next to us. I then went to the bar and got a cup of water. The bartender was also very nice and accomadating!

Pros: My first encounter was the best impression ever. I believe her name is Mika. She was outstanding and with a warm smile to boot. Very attentive to detail and she was prompt. Excellent job.
Pros: The room was great. The bed was super comfortable. Food at the restaurant was delicious and the servers were fun and friendly.
Cons: Not too happy that we had to pay for overnight parking- I feel there should have been some sort of compensation for this as a guest. Perhaps free breakfast?
Pros: Doubles Tree by Hilton Hotel Irvine meet all of our needs. The
staff is very courteous!!!
Cons: $19 charge per day for guest parking.
Pros: Could not enjoy anything because of the parking fee.
Cons: Mandatory $18 parking fee for all paying guests. What a trap. There is no excuse for a scam like that.
Pros: The lobby was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean.
Cons: My only negative comment would be that the carpert needed to be cleaned in the room. Everything else in the hotel was so clean that the dirty carpet in the room stood out. But this was very minor and should not deter anyone from staying here.
Pros: Very friendly check in. Location for shopping and business meeting was good. Parking fees were comped after reporting an issue with our room not being cleaned during one of the days of our stay.
Cons: Room had an odor. Room was not cleaned during one of the days as we were missed according to their schedule as a result of having our privacy sign on the door until about 10:00 am. When reported to the front desk, the room was cleaned and we were comped for our parking fees. Parking is $10.00 which we were fully aware of but we question why the extra charge. Our room was located right next to the elevator which we could hear continually. We did not ask for a room change but the next time we book a room that will be one of my requests to not be near an elevator.

Cons: Long wait for checking in and room availability; wifi did not work for our iPhones and computer. These devices worked in all hotels preceding this one.
Pros: The hotel is centrally located and six minutes from the airport, making it a great choice if you've an early morning departure or late night arrival. Our room was very quiet. The Marketplace was great for snacks and provided a good selection of tasty foods. The staff was friendly and the bed comfortable.
Cons: The parking fee of $22-24 per night seems excessive for a suburb like Irvine which is pretty much made of concrete, shopping malls and parking lots. The sink drain didn't work properly, one of my pet peeves in a hotel in any price category and unexpected in this type of hotel.
Cons: TOO LARGE THROUGHT IT WAS A BOUTIQU
Pros: Pool was great! Lots of space and fun games around the pool. Rooms were nice, good breakfast and fun bar/lounge
Cons: Music at the bar was so loud you couldn't hold a conversation. In addition the check-in attendant never told me details, such check-out time or that a continental breakfast was included ( I had to ask the next morning). They seemed rushed and ready for the next customer. Another issue was non-smoking on a designated non-smoking floor. I smelled smoke as I slept and saw butts on the carpet in the hallway. Lastly, breakfast was limited to toast, cold cereal, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs.
Cons: No room service
Weird shower stall that is made so its hard to reach handles
Pros: I had a problem with another room being extremely loud and disruptive,, the front desk and security took care of the situation, quickly. Also, the GM comped my valet charges...still not what I expected from a hotel like this.
Pros: I stayed a long weekend here with my friend and the lovely people at hotel Irvine really made us feel like welcome guests! From the complimentary bikes, to the Friday night movie on the lawn, to the friendly and delightful staff, every minute here was relaxing and stress-free. My friend has severe food allergies which the staff graciously and professionally worked arround for her. It really meant a lot to be able to enjoy my mini-vacation knowing that everything we needed was being taken care of. Thank you so much!
Pros: Good hotel, excellent location. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: The music in the lobby is a bit loud.
Pros: I liked the pool, room size, little market downstairs with reasonable prices, location to where I was going and the feel of the hotel. There is a mini refrigerator that you can fill up. I like the concept, instead of an overpriced minibar.
Cons: The front desk was confused as to when breakfast ended. (We were told 8am which is ridiculous, but it was actually 9:30.) we missed a few days due to thinking we missed it. The carpet and little features could be updated, but for the most part it was clean. We would stay again.
Pros: We loved our room with a view. Even though the hotel was busy with dance competition and softball teams, our room was quiet and service was great. We will definitely be back soon!
Pros: Loved the market place and the Dj at the bar in the evenings!

We focus on creating one-of-a-kind experiences by providing the little things that all add up to so much more. Were not like other hotels, and thats kind of the point.
Pros: The staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great. The beds are comfortable. The place is generally quite cozy, as well as clean. The USB outlets are a nice modern touch.
Cons: Pretty much my only complaint is that the hotel is very close to the John Wayne Airport and you get woken up promptly at 7am by the first departing flights, which continue to make noise until around 11pm. Otherwise the hotel is nice and quiet.
Pros: Everything about the hotel was really really good. It is such a good value for the money. The beds were very comfortable the room was very clean and the staff was very friendly wouldn't hesitate to stay there again anytime.
Cons: I'm a Pastor and I asked for a 1pm checkout due to a wedding ceremony I was performing in Huntington Beach at 4pm. Initially I was told no problem. I called on Saturday morning to confirm and my request was denied. Staff did not apologize, offer any solutions and I was very disappointed.
Pros: liked the restaurant in the courtyard
Cons: There were large bugs in our bathroom -- unacceptable
Pros: The room was very large and very comfortable. The facilities were very clean and aesthetically pleasing, although I was unable to spend much time there due to a business conference I was attending. I read good things about the restaurant, however, was unable to check it out for the same reasons.
Cons: I was given the opportunity to check-in before noon and to request additional towels, both of which I selected. However, upon arrival I was told that I was unable to check-in early AND that, even if possible, it would cost an additional $40. Furthermore, I did not receive additional towels. So, my question became, why even offer these things if you're not going to provide them upon request.
Pros: I didn't like much. My experience was horrible here.
Cons: We were lied to by the staff. Due to their lies, we ended up stranded at the event we were attending. We booked this hotel specifically for the free shuttle, and even made sure of times and venue location that it would all work out. Well, it didn't and the customer service desk did NOTHING to resolve. What an awful experience! I will never stay there again!
Pros: I was a beautiful place to stay, clean and the staff was great. I would surely go back and stay longer for pleasure this time!!!!!
Pros: Reliable excellent service and accommodations! We are always impressed with our experience at Ayres!
Located in the heart of Orange County, guests will enjoy relaxing in pristine old-world comfort and modern conveniences complete with a fully equipped business center, 12,000 square feet of meeting/event space, and a modern fitness center. Complimentary amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi and parking.
Cons: Lobby bathrooms were small and staff was very short with understanding kayak definitions of The room
Pros: Rooms and Resturant
Pros: Great Hotel. Good Facilities.
Cons: $28.00 to Park my car was a bit much
Pros: The staff was AMAZING there! we loved out stay.
Cons: The hotel is a bit dated but it was a great value for the deal we got.
Pros: It was clean, convenient for our conference, room was comfortable, staff and service was above expectations. Hotel food/restaurant/bar was good. Also close to other restaurants.
Pros: The hotel has an amazing staff. The two restaurants are very good and offer really good food unlike most hotel restaurants. We had the one bedroom suite and it was very clean. The hotel has its own shuttle bus going to and from Disney check out is at 1200 am. I paid $170 per night and it was far better than the Fairfield inn by Marriott which is located right across the main entrance to Disney Land. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel!!
Cons: The prices in the little store of the hotel are somewhat ridiculous but it is a great hotel. Parking is rediculous with $27 per night. One Bus is not enough during peak hours to get guests to park.
Pros: Loved the location, room cleaness, staff was very friendly and bed was confortable.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was a bit over priced.
Pros: The hotel lobby was beautiful and the employees were very nice. We had 3 different groups of family coming in and the person who checked us in gave us top notch service and was able to let us check-into our rooms early. He even let us have free shuttle tickets for everyone for Disneyland. I definitely will be back. With a group of 12 of us it was much easier to have the breakfast buffet at the restaurant in the lobby. it turned out great!
Pros: This is our 4th stay in Hyatt regency orange county this represent how we are loyal to this hotel we just feel like home
Pros: Easy access via shuttle which is convenient.
Cons: The shuttle/parking should be free for guests... I wouls have given an extra star for the extra value.
Pros: The staff was extremely nice and helpful!
Pros: Staff was very courteous and friendly. Excellent customer service. The location was great. Loved taking the shuttle to Disneyland from the hotel. Hotel is well kept. Loved the lobby - spacious. The Starbucks, gift shop and deli. Even thought we felt self parking was expenses we appreciated that the parking was adjacent to the hotel. Overall we had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and we look forward to staying there again.
Cons: The mattress' were not comfortable. The pillows looked worn, pretty flat. Housekeeping didn't leave us enough towels on two days. We got confused when we drove up to the hotel and staff (not sure if they were all Valet staff) came to our car and immediately asked us if self park or valet. and began to pull our bags out of the card. We had no idea what we were going to do without checking in first. That was a bit overwhelming. We felt self parking was too expenses.

Located just 1.4 miles from the Disneyland(R) Resort, our luxury hotel near Anaheim offers shuttle service to and from the parks, and is in close proximity to Angel Stadium, the Honda Center, world-famous beaches and many other Orange County attractions.
Pros: Room was clean and just as advertised. Front desk Staff was helpful and went above and beyond to send balloons and cookies to our room for my son's birthday. Breakfast was outstanding each morning and the breakfast staff was amazing. The workers never stopped moving- cleaning, replenishing, and even handing out stickers and activity sheets to the kids! Location was great- quick shuttle ride (additional ticket required) right up to the gates of Disneyland.
Pros: The 2 room suite is wonderful with a full kitchen.
Cons: The floor in the breakfast area was sticky both mornings we were there. Spills should be cleaned quickly to avoid this.

Pros: Friendly staff that always followed up to make sure that we were doing well. Dorothy was absolutely amazing! Love the remodel of the facility and would highly recommend.
Cons: Parking was not free but to be expected when your staying in the city.
Pros: Complimentary breakfast, snacks in the evening along with a two hour complimentary beer and mixed drink happy hour free for all. Complimentary shuttle to the very close airport. 7 miles from the beach a running trail about a mile from the hotel that goes all the way to the beach. Shuttle delivered me to my office within the 3 mile max radius. Staff helped with a mildly exceptional request of providing me with a screw driver from maintenance so I could repair my luggage. The key card opens doors with proximity so I could keep my key in my wallet and put my wallet next to the sensor.
Cons: I should have complained about the heat / air vent. Watching TV it was fine but going to bed it was just loud enough that I slept with a pillow on both sides of my head.
Oh and after the two hour happy hour the prices for drinks become a bit unreasonable an interesting strategy they have.
Pros: Great overall experience
Cons: Paying for parking
Cons: Could hear the service elevator from my room went until late at night and started early in the morning. Loud squeal and banging doors made it impossible to sleep. The front desk offered no help they said it should stop by 11:00 pm which it did not and they did not tell me it would start again at 6:00 am.
Pros: Nice, just recently renovated hotel rooms. Everything was in pristine condition. Comfortable beds, good breakfast (made to order eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal etc).
Cons: Housekeeping woke us up at 8:00 am. Not happy about that. Also pillows are not that good.
Pros: Nice hotel, good service, comfortable beds, great breakfast
Cons: Hotel is doing construction and they gave us a room directly under the floor they were working on. To their credit they did stop working at a reasonable time and did not start working till 9am.
Pros: Clean facilities, comfortable bed and free drinks
Cons: Expected larger suite for the high price. Few amenities close by
Pros: Most everything was perfect
Cons: We would have much preferred to be on the same floor as family we were with!!! We made reservations at least 2-3 weeks prior and requested 2 rooms together. Thankfully we were with young adult and 2 teenagers that could be on different floor but it was u settling and inconvenient
Pros: The staff was very helpful. Our truck did not fit in the parking garage so they made sure there was a spot for us in the short term parking lot for our whole stay. Very friendly helpful staff. Complementary breakfast was perfect way to start our day. Clean nice sized rooms.
The location of the hotel was close to everything! Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and balboa all 20-30 min away. Dinning and activities for the family only 7-10 min away. Great hotel!!
Pros: I mostly try and stay at Embassy Suites when I travel. This hotel was clean, friendly staff and great accommodations.
Cons: Parking at $15 dollars a day seems a little excessive. Other than the parking everything else was good.
Pros: The room was big! The pub area was a fun, breakfast and managers cocktail/snack time are always a plus. Gym was small, but worked for my needs.
Cons: Laundry facility was kind of janky, just one chair, maybe a TV or more than one chair or something would help.
Pros: The room was nice. Clean. Comfortable.
Cons: Parking is an extra $15 ridiculous. Room service dishes sat outside of rooms all day kinda gross. Maid service asked if we were gone yet way before check out kinda rude. 3 candy bars cost us $9 way too expensive

Pros: Great location, love the made to order breakfast and the gift shop on site which had Disney gifts on sale
Cons: Chairs in the room were falling apart, hole in the wall was a horrible patch job with a weird yellow gloss on it that made it look gross. It's a nice looking hotel just not well taken care of
Pros: Loved the hot breakfast! Service was excellent!
Cons: The pillows were uncomfortable.
Pros: I was so grateful they put out Cold Cucumber water ( also reg and another flavor) on the HOT days.
It was refreshing and very Appreciate!
I've been staying at this location when I'm in the area and will continue to.
Cons: The only One thing I could say is the elevator was out... made it hard... but it was fixed by the next day.
Pros: Great facilities. Great breakfast. Great room. Great cocktail hour every afternoon (rude bartender).
Cons: $15 per night for parking (they didn't mention that when booking). The bartender at the cocktail hour was very rude.

Pros: The rooms were absolutely beatiful and very clean. The staff was kind and helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The hotel ist self was just beautiful and very well located.
Cons: There was only one elevator for five floors or guest's, which was not very conducive to getting anywhere fast.
Pros: Clean and modern amenities, great location. Complimentary cookies and coffee are always a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Parking garage was a continual problem. Room keys did not function as intended to get in/out of garage gate, even after getting 3 different sets of room keys. Also, not enough parking spaces.
Pros: They had a room at an excellent price. We were stranded by Frontier Air with no options and had to extend our stay in So Cal. Quickly went to web and found this. I had stayed here before for work and found it a good value.
Pros: All the staff made you feel at home .
Cons: The entire operation was very well run and the upkeep was fantastic so there really isn't a negative in my opinion .
Pros: Location to airport and comfort of the room.
Cons: Parking fee for self park was $18.00
Pros: Good location, very nicely decorated. Employees were all very nice and helpful. Rooms had everything needed. Nice beds.
Cons: parking was 20.00 valet daily or 18.00 self park.
Pros: The staff was always warm and welcoming. Cookies were delicious, hotel exceeded my expectations. Rooms were ridiculously clean. Pool was nice!
Cons: $18/night for parking! Just know this ahead of time so you aren't surprised like I was haha :)
Also, no fans in the restroom which is weird but we managed.
Pros: The guys at the front desk have a back for hospitality and I loved the jokes!! The over all appearance is charming and welcoming. The room is well designed and comfortable. The price was extremely fair for the amazing value this hotel offers. I would gladly stay here again. Also I'd recommend it to anyone that inquiries about local hotels...
Cons: The charge for parking... But I get it!
Pros: No hassle got what I paid for
Pros: Beatrice at the front desk was so much help, she directed us to all the coolest places to go. She made our stay amazing!
Pros: The staff was and is amazing
Cons: I don't realized you need your key room to leave the parking lot.

Cons: 20 dollar valet parking

Pros: Roomy suite with good beds. Waffle station and Mon-Weds Happy Hour with beer, wine, and decent hors d'oeuvres.
Cons: Not super clean. Quick surface clean looks good but refrigerator smells (ice maker makes un-usable ice). Dishes not clean - Rewash everything. If you don't see it, it probably hasn't been cleaned in a while.

Pros: Staff was amazing and nice. But under trained and need more knowledge on processes
Cons: Messed up our room and what was going on and got charged for parking 2 types in1 day.
Pros: Visiting a family member in hospital. Your Marriott staff could not have been more accommodating. The Concierge lounge was perfect.
Cons: I can not think of anything
Pros: The greeting by front desk @ 3:00AM after a horrendous flight from east coast was so very welcome. That attitude was evident during my entire four night stay. Marriott has never forgotten that hospitality is about the people, more than just a place to rest your body.
Cons: This was an overall great experience. I do not have a single suggestion on improving anything I experienced
Pros: Spa was amazing!
Cons: Pay for parking and taking extra money for deposit
Pros: The friendliness of the staff
Pros: Fantastic location.Great value for money.Very clean.Great pool and jacuzzis.Will definitely be back!Even a Starbucks!And a great bar.Fire pits at night.Sunset was incredible to top off a great getaway.10/10.
Pros: The staff is VERY sweet and helpful. Great location.
Valets were SO SWEET! Extremely clean.
Cons: My ONLY problem was I reserved TWO DOUBLE BEDS.
I brought my 15 year old daughter and her best friend
For a one night getaway. I received an am txt that our room would be ready at 4pm.. So we went to fashion island for fun lunch at Lemonade
And some shopping. When we went to check in.. At 4pm.. I was told
That they had over sold and our room had one king bed. In my reservation I specified THREE PEOPLE! I feel like I got bumped cuz I reserved thru kayak... Paid less. They brought up a HUGE rollaway
That took up half the room. We couldn't even make room for it..
So we all 3 slept in one bed. Not the end of the world.. But I would have appreciated better communication. Beautiful hotel and we had a lot of fun.
Pros: Marriott hotels have always been an enjoyable experience. The room, location and overall stay was very nice.
Cons: The in room dining as well as pool service staff was beyond slow. The drinks by the pool had a 30 minute ticket time and I had to call in room dining 6 times before my what was supposed to be surprise order of champagne arrived. I'm in the industry as well and understand things get busy. The in room dining gave us some strawberries as an apology for the delay which was nice but th pool staff did nothing to appease everyone's clear annoyance with the slowness of service. It wouldn't deter me from returning necessarily but it does make me question the hiring process at this location. Not only was the pool staff slow, the gentleman had the personality of a shoe.
Pros: It was close to malls and movies.
Cons: Not the best views in Newport

Pros: Location, seconds away from the beach and easy exsit to freeways. cleanliness, room cleaned daily and well stocked with towels. front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room faced the beach and had a view of the marina. Compliment Breakfest had a decent spread for being free.
Cons: Parking was a little tight some nights. Near the 1 FWY can get some traffic noise

Pros: The suites are spacious and lovely; the breakfasts and happy hours, a wonderful feature.
Cons: The heating/ac system is inadequate: although it was chilly at night, the system was not set to provide heat. The staff provided a space heater, but... not what I'd expect from a fine hotel.
Pros: Friendliness of staff , very comfortable and the hospitality wa above and beyond.
Cons: $15 per night parking
Pros: The size of the room was great, the location was easily accessible to the freeway, the complimentary breakfast was gteat, the cocktail hour was nice just maybe needed a better selection of alchohol.
Cons: The public area could have been cleaner, room service trays would stay in the hallways all day, the elevators were in desperate need of vacuuming. The front desk staff could have been more friendly, upbeat, and helpful. We had a small issue the night before check out, my car battery died. I figured security could give up a jump in the morning ingredients when we checked out. Upon check out I asked if they could and the front desk agent saI'd no, we asked why and the answer was simply we can't. She suggested maybe we ask the valet, so we did and he said no. They had their shuttle vehicle, a big SUV, just sitting up front, I asked if they could use that, the answer was still no. Unfortunately they seemed to be okay with us being stranded in their parking lot. They were zero help, along with the fact they just didn't care.
Pros: A truly good hot breakfast.
Cons: The maids didn't clean/tidy our room for the second nights stay. Also, the pillows are awful. The front desk offered a foam pillow, but it was never delivered! One of the two TVs didn't work correctly and maintenance guy said other rooms were problematic too. The wifi was slow most of the time. Lastly, having to pay $15 per night for parking is ridiculous. I did however get that waived because of all the mentioned room issues.
Pros: Quick check in. Very clean room.Close to all our activities. 12 min to Disneyland,17 min to Laguna Beach. 5 min to Airport. Very good parking. Well lit grounds. Overall Great stay.
Cons: Staff seemed very neutral.
Pros: mediocre breakfast however great made to order omelets. All come with your stay which is worth the hotel in itself.
Pros: Coctail hour and made to order breakfast was a great way to start and end the day
Cons: The climate control for the room is based on the season and weather. It didnt get cold enough for my liking. No real complaint though
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: The Front Office Director is the worst ever, exactly the one who was Duty Manager on 5/23/2015. He is mean to the guests and does everything he can to NOT help them. I would have rated this hotel as average if it was not of this individual who ruined my day with my family.
Embassy Suites Santa Ana - Orange County Airport North is a 5-minute free shuttle ride from the terminals. The world-famous Disneyland® Park and Knott's Berry Farm are both close by, making this a great base for family vacations. Avid shoppers are a 15-minute drive from Fashion Island Mall.
Pros: All staff was nice, it was close by many eateries and shopping centers. Beds were comfy and restroom clean. Bed was huge, my husband and daughter and I slept comfortably with room to spare. Pool and Jacuzzi were cleaned and there was plenty of room to sit and relax. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Pillows were too soft lol
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room, nice shower, decent pool, really close to shopping and Maggianos.
Cons: Toilet room had no ceiling vent to air out the stink after taking a #2 and I was not informed there would be a $10 charge for parking until I checked out.
Pros: Great service
Pros: I enjoyed the staff, welcoming and polite.
Cons: Bathroom toilet light did not work. AC too loud. Stains on carpet.
Pros: The ac vent rattled and made noise as it was turned on . It was a loud enough noise that you would notice and if you could get passed that then you would have no problem sleeping . Room was nice and clean . Pool was nice
Pros: Property is just starting to show its use/worn. Staff was excellent. Door to room didn't work upon arrival and day 2. Staff fixed right away and comp'd me breakfast for the trouble.
Room: carpet a tad worn. Some small maintenance items in the room, nothing major. Cap missing on toilet seat. Electrical conduit falling off wall. Couple spots on bed frame workout.
Bathroom was awesome. Bed/ sheets super clean and incredibly comfortable. HVAC worked well/quiet fan.
Pros: Location only
Cons: The air conditioner wasn't working, was too hot, we open the window and a lot of noise
Pros: Good shower. Rain style shower head. Good restaurant and friendly staff.
Cons: Lotion in the bathroom was already used. No refrigerator in room. Location of ice only on the first floor. Old furniture. 10 dollars a night for parking.
Pros: Clean. Staff was kind and polite
Cons: 1) room was very small 2) we arrived 20 min early and waited. And waited as if the only room in the huge hotel was the small Kayak rate room??
Pros: Everything exceeded my expectations. Staff was VERY kind. Room was way more than I paid for. Everything was just perfect.
Cons: I have absolutely no complaints what so ever. All around great!
Pros: Convenient location, comfortable room, adequate parking, good value given prices of other hotels in the area.
Cons: A metal clanking repeatedly from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m., which woke me up multiple times the one night I was there, which I didn't hear the rest of my stay. It makes me think it was the result of cleaning or maintenance; if so, it's a poor choice at that time of day and inconsiderate.
Pros: TheDesk Was Very Nice...Checked To Make Sure Room Was good
