Pros: Place was very clean and comfortable.

Pros: Didnt really take advantage of the breakfast but thought the room was graet for the price and the ability to take my dog with me. so many places have breed bias and here they don't.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Cons: Nothing that comes to mind.
Pros: Breakfast had good selection and was well presented.
Cons: More fresh fruit would have been welcom
Pros: Very clean the young man kept his cool while guest checked in during a blizzard
Cons: He charged me more then my rate on booking.com
Pros: Everything was perfect!!!!!
Cons: Nothing, everything was fine
Pros: Room was extremely clean and very nice. The location was perfect as it is in the middle of a few neat, local options for restaurants. We stopped during a blizzard coming back to WI from AR, and were very thankful for the quality of our stay.
Cons: Breakfast was not very good
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever I interacted with them. Hot breakfast was good.
Cons: The breakfast was not attended well enough. Whenever it was a little busier, they quickly ran out of the main items.
Pros: everything was great
Pros: Really friendly helpful staff, great breakfast with a pancake maker! I was impressed. Room was huge, quiet and comfortable, only thing that woke me up was a huge thunderstorm but i think that would have woken anyone up. Plenty of plug sockets, and great lighting.
Cons: The breakfast could have tasted better
Cons: Clean, quiet, and the breakfast was delicious!
Located in Oregon, Paddle Wheel Inn is within a 10-minute drive of Lowden State Park and Hal Palmer Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice location. We enjoyed sitting by the river.
Cons: There was no breakfast. No staff on duty in the morning. We wanted to leave at 6:30 am. We had left our cell phone in the room and had to go through the window to get it. We couldn't call anyone because we didn't have a phone.
Pros: The location is great - a reasonable rate for a riverview room. The bathrooms have been nicely updated and the room was spacious. Everything was very clean. Please give the restaurant next door, Maxson's, a chance. Our food there was wonderful with an awesome view of the Rock River!
Cons: We would prefer it if the desk was attended at night and early morning.
Cons: Somewhat expensive for a plain hotel
Pros: The location was very scenic.
Cons: Renovations of the rooms are needed. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Toiletries were only available by request. No breakfast is provided. Costs are high for no amenities.
Pros: Large room
Cons: Dust covered parts of the room For the price of the room there wasn't even breakfast provided.
Pros: The coffee was't even hot or available. But I liked the view and size of the room.
Cons: More friendly receptionist please
Pros: The room we were in was fantastic! It was big , very clean, quiet and relaxing! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Cons: The vending machine area was sorely lacking appeal. Since there is no restaurant or convenience store within walking distance it would have been nice to have had a vending machine that had food, not just chips and candy.
Pros: Beautiful inn with a gorgeous view. Staff was friendly and the room was immaculate.
Pros: The steak house on premises was fabulous! Staff was nice. View was fantastic, Overlooked the Rock River! I would book again!
Cons: No breakfast at inn.
Pros: Loved the view.
Cons: Restaurants nearby closed too early.

Pros: Great people, kids loved the pool and older boys really enjoyed the workout center. Front desk was great in helping us get in for a unplanned second night. Overall great experience in a older looking building.
Cons: Breakfast was a little cramped but should expect that for a Saturday morning. The resturant next door "Sunrise" was fantastic!!! Best small town family food place we've ever ate at!
Pros: I liked the central location for my needs. The breakfast was good each morning but could use more seating.
Cons: I didn't like my dog finding chocolate on the floor within minutes of us occupying the room. Housekeeping still hadn't cleaned my room after the first night at 6 pm. Another time I had to get my own coffee and tea along with toliet paper. I made several trips to the office to get this corrected. My last night I met up with the supervisor of housekeeping. She was very concerned about what happened. I hope things can get changed. I have stayed there several times before without any problems.
Pros: The property was under reconstruction when we stayed, which is a good thing as the older part is crazy outdated.
Cons: See zbove
Pros: It’s ok
Cons: The room so old need a lot of updates
Pros: Just had yogurt and coffee. It looked good.
Pros: Breakfast was ample. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The fan in the bathroom (Rm. 119) was too noisy--it's on its last legs. The refrigerator did not work.
Pros: Comfortable stay, good location, very friendly staff, good breakfast in a clean area.
Cons: By time I found WiFi code we were leaving
Pros: The location was ideal. The lobby was attractive.
Cons: The ice machine was broken--had to look for another. The towels seemed old and too worn.
Pros: Room was extremely clean and wuiet
Pros: We were upgraded to a suite and it was amazing! The kids had their own room and it was awesome!
Cons: The bed wasn't very comfortable, but we loved that there were no feather pillows! We have lots of allergies, so this helped a lot!
Pros: Room was very clean and comfortable although the rest of the hotel doesn't reflect that! However, the hotel is under renovation, which is long over due.
Cons: The pool, which is not owned by the hotel. The hot tub was totally disgusting and the kids eyes were burning from the chlorine/unbalance of chemicals in the pool

Pros: Rooms were very comfortable, clean. A/C worked great. Overall good experience.
Cons: Breakfast fill short of a International continental breakfast. No eggs or meat
Pros: comfy bed, large room
Cons: got sick after eating the breakfast, was two food spots in the one blanket so scrubbed it off with a baby wipe, also was more than what it said at booking .com
Pros: Just passing through, room met all expectations
Cons: Noise from room above
Pros: No frills hotel but it was clean and the breakfast was more extensive than we expected it would be so that was a nice surprise Not too far from Rockford
Pros: Location to University of Illinois.Only 16 miles away.
Cons: Breakfast wasn’t good,..needs improvement. They only had cold cooked eggs, coffee ,white bread.. (ONLY) they could have different kinds of beads .Rye or wheat bread. Or Warm biscuits or bagels. Cream cheese.
Pros: I only stayed there for one night, but was a comfortable rest after 17 hour flight and 1hr, 20mins drive from O Hare. Staff were friendly and helpful when i asked them questions. There was a thunderstorm that night and you get a good view of the lighting. (We don't get thunderstorm like you get in Illinois from where i'm from). A good quick breakfast in the morning before starting my road trip.
Pros: Decent room, bed and pillows comfortable
Cons: The man who checked us in acted like it was a real chore to do so
Pros: Clean and updated. Very comfortable.
Pros: Bed comfortable.
Pros: Location is perfect for the distance.between the places I travel. Quality is good. Not luxurious, but clean and functional. I've stayed in more economy priced places only to wish I paid a bit more for far better accomodations.
Cons: Another guest was loudly talkative nearby late into the night and again early in the morning. I could hear many a curseword clearly. But he was talking very loudly. Some people just don't care. I have stayed here before without incident and it will continue to be my primary option as needed in the future.
With a stay at CHATEAU LODGE in Oregon, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Lowden State Park and Hal Palmer Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Clean rooms (fresh not chemical clean smell), quite, country setting, sound proof room, had a good stay and a good night sleep. Nice Owners!
Cons: Rooms were not all next to each other. Next time I’ll book earlier. Owners did say they tried to do that.
Pros: Nice staff who listened.. one bed needs a new, better mattress. A good price on a rural location.
Pros: It was clean. It was quite.
Cons: Nothing to do.
Pros: Location was right across from famous Blackhawk statue which is one of America's icons. Close to grasslands with a bison herd and white pine forest. Oregon city is also a nice destination. Could be marketed as a slice of the Black Hills
Cons: They need new towels. Mattresses and sheets could be upgraded and a couple cheap bars of soaps would be nice. There is no ice machine easily available but rooms do have refrigerators with a freezer.
Pros: It is a nice quiet place to stay
Cons: The room needs a lot of updating. There were holes in the sheets. The toilet rocked when sat on.
Pros: Cute room was well decorated and comfy
Cons: The room had cobwebs s d could use a good cleaning but was clean where it counted :)
Pros: Very clean and good location
Pros: Charming rooms. Very quiet. Very close to restaurants. Easy check-in and check-out. Area is very beautiful. We would definitely stay there again if needed. Good value.
Cons: There wasn't anything we did not like.
Cons: It was filthy
Located in Dixon, Super 8 by Wyndham Dixon is within a 5-minute drive of Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home and Dixon Memorial Arch. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: I’ve never been treated more poorly by a staff member as any facility. When I booked online the lady at the front told me there were no rooms available and after showing her my phone she told me a staffing agency has my money not them....I couldn’t believe it she should be fired from her job I’ve never been treated more rudely at any establishment ever! I hate leaving bad reviews but in this situation someone in management needs to know.
Pros: While the location worked for our needs after 35 straight hours of driving. The employees were friendly as we checked in and out.
Cons: The state of our room was concerning. While the room was "clean" (no trash), the blankets and sheets on the beds were littered with stains and looked incredibly unsanitary. Even if they were washed, simply replacing sheets that look as if they were stained with blood or other bodily fluids would have given us a higher quality night's sleep and given us much less to worry about. After concerns of the overall cleanliness of the beds, taking a shower was a little questionable as the bathtub/shower filled with water as we showered. Breakfast was advertised online, however, there wasn't anything at all when we arrived in the lobby the following morning.
Pros: Since I'm trying to eat healthy the food made it easy to do so.
Cons: The bathtub in the handicap room is not particular for anyone that is not able to step over to get in it.
Pros: the room was clean.the staff was friendly .good location.
Cons: the breakfast could have had a little more variety.
Pros: the bed was soft, sink area was great for having everything that I needed to get ready in arms reach without going into my bags.
Cons: There was some clicking noise that was nonstop. I didn't get the room that I reserved but still had to pay the same price as the King room that I wanted. Smh I was disappointed from the time I walked in. Luckily visiting my husband was my focus. Also the breakfast was trash. Pre made waffles, no meat, weak cooffee only toast and sweets just awful.
Pros: The clean comfortable bed and the way it almost felt like an apartment rather just a place to sleep.
Cons: I'm a little on the tall side and the sink seemed a little low. But other than that it was a very nice room.
Pros: Room was very clean.
Cons: Pillows were awful. Air conditioner fan & bathroom fan were very noisy.
Pros: My room had a door to the parking lot. Breakfast starts at 5 a.m. walking distance from two grocery stores.
Cons: The bathroom was small. Never found the exercise room. Breakfast was a little limited.
Pros: Location was close to stores and food.
Cons: Breakfast was a joke! Bedspread was stained and dirty. Gross. Will stay at comfort inn next door next time. Worth the extra $10.
Pros: The free breakfast
Cons: Could of had a better variety of choices for breakfast
Pros: No eggs. Maybe to early
Pros: Only donuts no Hot food
Located in Dixon, Magnuson Hotel Dixon is a 4-minute drive from Sauk Valley Community College and 6 minutes from Lincoln Monument State Memorial. Featured amenities include a business center and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The entire building smelled like mildew, the floor we stayed on smelled like marijuana, the room next to us was padlocked, the bathtub was so old it didn’t come clean anymore, I didn’t even shower
Pros: It was quiet. Check-in, check-out was easy enough. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Pillows weren’t very firm. No breakfast offered. Personnel wasn’t overly friendly.
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: From the moment I drove up, I was shocked at the level of disrepair. Awnings in tatters, parking lot pavement cracked and overgrown with weeds, no clear markings for entrance. The reception area was junky and unkempt. And the room! Stained bedspread, peeling wallpaper, and, worst of all, improperly cleaned toilet. Responses to previous reviews indicate that some attempts at renovation had recently occurred, but apart from a new TV, I see zero evidence to support that claim.
Pros: It had a fridge and microwave. Juice and milk was available at all times. The staff was courteous and accomadating. Very friendly. Nice view. For the price it is an excellent hotel.
Cons: Slight mildew smell in hot areas, but is to be expected since the location. Tub was slow to drain
Pros: Even with the rooms being quite outdated and needing minor repairs the front desk attendant was helpful and pleasant to work with.
Cons: The breakfast options were very limited and there was no coffee because the owner of the property didn't manage the supply needed for the day.
Pros: Nice little breakfast. Nice little TVs. Great out of town location. I really like staying here for quiet and convenience, but......see dislikes below.
Cons: We thought that after a year of new ownership that they would have at least fixed the safety issues of crumbling stairway, rotted hand railing, ripped canopy awning, old door closer holes in the fire door and the gap in the door threshold. These are the first thing you see. If I were passing thru and saw this, I’d not even go in and stay. With only a few rooms semi revamped, no excuse for dirty rooms (dead bugs in the bathroom, water dripping in the tub, something brown on the hair dryer cord). It says no smoking on the premises on the ads, but the second floor hallway reeks of cigarette smoke coming from the end westerly room. It is sad to see employees watching tv in the common area when they could be cleaning up the broken glass in the parking lot or cleaning! A future bar and restaurant and pool isn’t going to fix the current problems. Simple aesthetics would go a long way!
Pros: Nice spacious room. Comfortable bed. There was a couch in the room. The lot doesn't have any neighbors, so very quiet. This was a great hotel at one time. If you actually work for a living don't pass this place up.
Cons: The bathroom needs major updates by quality people who care what they're installing. No TV station guide in room.
Pros: Parking was outside our window.
Cons: Sofa bed in the room was open with filthy sheets on it. Carpet was not vacuumed. Toilet not cleaned. Trim board on bathroom counter sloped 3 inches from one side to the other. Wallpaper was coming off the bathroom wall. You couldn’t find a worse room if you tried.
Pros: Bed good. Location good Staff good Price good
Cons: Breakfast was very minimal Facilities dated.
Cons: I decided not to stay after I pulled into the parking lot. The outside of the building was trashy and in a state of disrepair, there were broken and missing awnings and the office was not marked.
Pros: It was near where I needed to be.
Cons: I don't know where to start! The smell, the stains seeping from the ceiling down the wall. The curtains didn't close very privately. There was toilet paper and stagnant water down the tub drain, we couldn't even shower, and, old teabags in the coffee pot.
