Great stay but beware of sales people!
Best bang for your buck. Resort was right on the ocean with its own private area. Suite was nice and included full kitchen set up. We also had two balconies. You’ll definitely want to stay at the pool side as it’s closer to all of the amenities and closer to the ocean (marina view is across the street and ocean view can be obstructed; marina was nice, but not as good as ocean). There was a convenience store on site to buy groceries, but are expensive as it is imported. There were two restaurants and a bar around the pool area that we ate at a lot. Lots of activities throughout the day for family and adult only. We enjoyed bingo, karaoke, and charades.
They are very pushy on their sales of timeshares and future stays at the resort. Before we could even check in, they pushed us to speak with a lady to sign up for “free” tours and souvenirs in exchange to come to their 90 min sales presentation about buying into a timeshare. The service at the restaurants are also super slow, so must be patient to get service sometimes.
Don’t stay at island seas resort
The maintenance was friendly
I literally could write for an hour about what was wrong Bad food Horrible service Dirty room Unfriendly staff Attitude from staff On site restaurant tasted like microwaved food was cold Room was not on waterfront was in the back Hot tub was cold everything was backwards Spa service people in the apt above the spa dragged chairs, yelled, and made noise the entire massage On site grocery store is unbelievably expensive I can’t say anything good about this place Attend at your own risk! There’s a reason it gets 2 stars online
