Unlimited booze and beach access.
Some staff were friendly, but others were way too much for my taste. I traveled with my partner (lgbtq couple) and the men staff did not stop harassing us to leave with them.. they need training on sexual harassment! And once we said we were a couple the male staff I could name a few treated us rude and asked the most inappropriate questions! Basically - not lgbt friendly.
There was nothing to like because we were forced evacuation reason due to the weather conditions predictions. They said their government asked for evacuation. And we were scheduled to leave Saturday from Bahamas to West palm beach on Sunday 31st to catch the scheduled fight to Boston. Instead we are here closed in the hotel WPB waiting for our fight to Boston as scheduled.
The setting on the beach and the life guards were amazing they were great for a laugh, and particularly safety conscious in a storm. The cafe meal was amazing and the staff in the cafe were friendly and enthusiastic and professional.
Staff were mostly rude, though more friendly staff on our second day made the experience more pleasant. On arrival at 11am we were advised our room would be ready at 3pm. Once we were finally given access at 3:20pm they were still cleaning our room. We left them to it only to return to a bed with no mattress cover, a sheet that didn't fit and our bedsheets full of sand. The doonas don't even have covers, so you can see stains from previous guests - apparently this is quite normal!! We also met others dealing with cockroaches in their rooms. Our interconnecting door wasn't even locked so other guests next door mistakenly entered our room, there should be a dead lock on these which are locked by housekeeping staff before the rooms are occupied! The shower trap absolutely stunk, rooms were noisy, our room rattled when the neighbours opened and closed their door, and the entire place needs a lot of maintenance. We only ate toast from the breakfast buffet, none of food looked particularly fresh or edible, cold meats were sitting out and sweating. Don't bother with the Italian restaurant of the night, stick to the cafe. The Oriental restaurant was fully booked on our first and closed on our second... At an all inclusive resort we couldn't understand why one of the 3 restaurants would be closed! At the Italian restaurant we watched a family of 5 turned away simply because reception staff made an error and booked only 2 guests for dinner, the restaurant was half empty we couldn't believe how rude the waitress was to turn them away. Bar staff generally complain at making most cocktails and the bar near the beach was constantly out of normal mixers. More should be done to keep local vendors from harassing guests on the beach. We were looking to move to another hotel by the afternoon of our first day.
The excursion to snorkel with the turtles, swim with the pigs, and see the blue hole was fantastic! Marco and Tristan were our tour guides and they were wonderful, informative, and friendly. Because they were such excellent guides, my cousin and I booked another snorkel with them! This was off an uninhabited island and was also so much fun!

a very pleasant hotel set right on the beach, the staff were very helpful, as for the entertainment staff, they put so much effort and hard work into all the shows they did at night and also it seemed like non stop during the day, there is a kids club which was run perfectly Zico Kennedy Alice Michelle had so much energy they kept the guest occupied, to me it is a must stay resort, just a shame its so far away from the UK, the one thing I would like to see is no smoking signs round the pool, even the life guard was funny and he knew exactly when you had to get out the pool if a storm was not to far away, the food was good enough to pick from, and a taxi rank next door to the hotel
