5.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was reasonably good, though I would have liked it more had they included some fresh fruits.
Cons: Hotel.com had this hotel listed as 4 star. We paid for a 4 star hotel, but it has none of the amenities of a 4 star hotel. For the 2 days I stayed there, I was provided a single bottle of drinking water, no coffee or tea or hot water heater, no refrigerator in the bedroom. There is one soft pillow and one set of towels and no room service even though I hung the sign out requesting room cleaning. Also we were not told that the Monday evening before the holiday on Tuesday that the hotel restaurant would be closed.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Worst hotel to ever stay. This hotel is in middle of nowhere... The Hotel staff told me if I write a review on booking.com there lawyer will sue me.
Cons: Worst hotel to ever stay. This hotel is in middle of nowhere... The Hotel staff told me if I write a review on booking.com there lawyer will sue me. They have audacity to say that for writing my experience My reason of complain is that I paid for my room without getting keys and access to my room. The Hotel staff was very arrogant and they didn't even care. I arrived at hotel at 9 pm night and when I arrived the light was too low and I hardly could see any things.. Tired calling for help to get my room but no one came out then my friends who were staying there got me inside and we again banged few doors to get access to someone to get my room keys but no one came out. Then I managed to stay in my friends room as I couldn't go any where because hotel is in middle of nowhere.. I managed to borrow quilt for other room and pillow from my friend. When I kindly asked hotel staff they didn't even care and said I should have rang the bell or informed them. I told him show me the bell. Honestly in whole wild world if its that dark one can never identify if there is a worn out bell button. The day before my friends arrived at 10 pm and there keys we outside hanging but didn't get mine hanging outside. Even my friends complained its in middle of nowhere and did a big mistake booking it. I said I am booking.com genius member he said I don't care but just read the rules can you imagine he was so arrogant and they are in hospitality business. I got bit disappointed as he was not even ready to listen and charged me for full room without giving me the keys and rather than apologising he said if I write a review about my experience his lawyers will sue me. I have full right to write my review as I paid for it and one more thing he told my friends this guy expects same kind of treatment as you got.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: WE went out of season , so everything was very quiet. However, the staff were very pleasant and the rooms was very clean and comfortable
Cons: WE ate in the restaurant and while there were no problems I did feel that for the price there could have been more food
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We love everything!!! The friendly stuff, the clean and spacious room, the delicious food!!! Everything was very good!!!
Cons: The one and only negative thing about our stay was the internet connection. It was ok downstairs in the restaurant, but no connection at all in our room upstairs.

Pros: The hotel is located near a forest and a park with provides great recreational possibilities. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and try very hard to fulfill every need. The hotel has a very nice backyard with lots of trees and nice benches. Ideal to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: No Coffee facilities in the room After a day on the road and turning up late all i wanted was a cup of coffee ....but no facilities to get one
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice charming place. The restaurant food was fantastic!! The staff and owner was one of the friendliest ever - Germany isn’t known as the most customer friendly country but they know the concept of not saying “no”. I asked for a few things with my meal and they were very happy to appease - if you like spicy food, ask for the hot gravy sauce with your steak - EXCELLENT. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely go back.
Cons: Every was EXCELLENT!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is extremely well located in proximity to the main east / west motorway route. The setting is lovely in the woods away from the traffic. The Waldhotel offers very good value for money, is clean, if offering fairly basic accommodation. It is also extraordinarily dog, friendly, although some guests may not appreciate being surrounded by canines in the dining room at breakfast. This visit we stayed in a refurbished room upstairs (as opposed to downstairs with direct access to the car park at Christmas time), which was small, but adequate.
Cons: Dinner choice is limited, although breakfast is very good at this price level. Fortunately it wasn't hot as the windows only tilt inwards and there is no air conditioning.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Hotel smells like kitchen. Interior from the '80s, needs update. Hairs in the shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we have found in any European hotel. By German standards, Waldhotel offers excellent value for money, both in terms of accommodation and restaurant food. Breakfast, included in the room rate, is very good Indeed, a wide ranging continental selection - and eggs and bacon cooked fresh to order too The wooded environment in which it is set is lovely and particularly appreciated by the dog owners who are made so welcome here. This hotel is fantastically convenient for the main E40 European highway, just two minutes off the route, yet far enough away from it to be very quiet Indeed at night. Very convenient parking is plentifully available, we had a room (102) with a door leading onto a terrace with direct access to the car park, making loading / unloading particularly convenient after a long drive.
Cons: There were three inoperative lights in our room, including the one over the bathroom mirror. There was also a rather large cobweb hanging down over the bed. There was no kettle in the room and our request to borrow one was declined.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food perfect but too large portions for us. Good breakfast selection.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place far from the traffic, in the middle of the forrest. Good breakfast, nice rooms, comfortable beds. Great spot is you want to run away from civilisation for a while.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Rooms were pretty cold with central heating switched off. Very uncomfortable. It looks like the hotel is slowly dying.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My wife is classed as disabled but not yet in a wheel chair. The young lady receptionist was extremely helpful in giving us a room that was good for our needs. She was name, we think Valentine and worked very hard on the bar and waiting on us with a delicious meal.
Cons: Not just this hotel but others the towels are getting smaller. Toilets also get lower and lower for some one who is in a lot of pain this makes life very difficult, this applies to most hotels. We now have to carry a disabled toilet seat we fit onto the toilet that makes life much easier.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: We were met by a very grumpy face and didn’t feel at all welcome
Cons: The staff and a very dated furnishings. Very old noisy bed. So Difficult to order food that we went elsewhere.
7.5 Good
Pros: Surroundings are beautiful, rooms are ok.
Cons: Smelled like lollypops. Weird air refreshener smells.
6.7 Good
Pros: difficulty getting there by car normal breakfast but just till 9am
Cons: when I was booking I received an information that will be 45 euro but I had to pay 50 euro
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet, lovely woodsy location, easy parking, good price.
Cons: Awful Wifi, forget about internet while staying here, the staff could be a little friendlier.
