Very helpful staff Breakfast was not particularly good
Charming old town, with courteous staff in a well-located hotel. Excellent value for money and proximity to Pisa airport were determinants for our choice. Fully met expectations. In one night really nothing went wrong.
The room was new and clean.
Nicely redone castello -very close to center- 5 minute walk. Lovely room, comfy and clean. Very helpful staff. Convenient parking. Went for truffle fair, but the truffles were all bought up. Come at the beginning of the festival, not the end.
Very nice place but for the price expected a bigger room and bathroom
Obviously a new manager, who was very professional, pleasant and helpful when it was impossible to find a rental car; all hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The location for the town and the view.
Out of the six hotels we staying in during our trip around northern Italy this was our favourite. A beautiful hotel located in one of the most original and genuine Tuscany hill villages. Only a handful of tourists, unlike San Giminano or Lucca. Has a real ambience. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The view from our room was like from a Tuscan storybook.
The room was incredible - a fresco painted into sunken wall, with 6 foot high windows that opened to the amazing Tuscan countryside. Unbelievable. The staff treats you like gold. Truly cannot say enough for how comfortable and responsive the staff is - they went above and beyond many times in our short stay.
The place where the hotel is located and the hotel building itself
Lovely building - great cakes! Young guy working afternoon/evening was not very good - had problems with air con and he left it not working after requesting help. Gentleman working late each night solved issue.
A very comfortable hotel with a very attentive staff in a superb location
If you are looking for a relaxing place to escape for a few days this is the perfect place. Miravalle Palace Hotel is in a building which is over 1000 years old situated in the medieval hillside town of San Miniato. A fantastic base while exploring this town. The rooms are well decorated, facilities are excellent. The restaurant serves traditional Tuscany dishes and the staff were friendly and helpful. Not really a complaint as it did not affect us at all however it could be helpful for other customers if english translations were offered for menus and brochures. Also ra little difficult to find - our GPS insisted that it wanted us to drive up a set of stairs to get to the Hotel! Better signage would be a help.
The staff was wonderful and very friendly plus the location was amazing! Within easy walking distance to all the major sights of the town. We will definitely be back!
Nice Hotel. Vers calm and close to many facilities
Every thing. Excellent. Beatyfull.
The staffs are very firendly and I felt home. Personally I'm a huge fan of Da Vinci and that was the reason why I visited this town. I was worried about this trip cause I've never been before but the hotel was very helpful about the info. of the town and I really enjoyed the stays. I[m sure I'll stay there again whenever I visit Vinci!!
Staff very friendly, can speak English. Try to help where they can and gave useful tips
Great location, friendly staff, smart rooms.
Everything, beautiful surrounding, villa and the man in the restaurant was extremly nice, very tasty food with a reasonable price nothing
Friendly staff, quiet location, reasonably well equipped. Wireless internet, although not entirely free, parking on site.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The location is great, anyway in Toscany it's nice everywhere. The house is upon the hill so the view is great. It's a rip-off! We have to call them to find the place, they were unable to guide us. Unbeleivable! They gave us token to use the washing machine and the dryer and they charge us $50.00 for 2 washing and one drying! They try to charge for tap water!
The hotel was very clean and the service friendly. The room did not include anything else than just beds and the shower room, but the air-conditioning worked well. Nice place for driving around Firenze and Tuscany, if hotel needed only for sleeping. There was a walking distance to old town of Montelupo where were nice looking dinner restaurants. And the breakfast was good.
everything unfortunately. the hotel is in the middle of a country town, without any advantage of country stay- no views, no atmosphere and very difficult to locate. we were going in circles for 2 hours before we found it. the staff at the front desk was extremely unhelpful, almost rude- we had to argue with him to put on the air conditioning, and then he set the temperature so high, we were sweating thru the night- and the temperature regulator in the room did not work. the room was tiny- the lower bunk bed got no air at all. the hotel charges for internet, but does not provide a computer. breakfast was just bread, butter, juice. real rip-off. would not stay there again even if i was paid to do so. worst experience of our entire trip.
Staff was very helpful and comfortable with English. Room was big and spacious even for 4 people. Very clean and well maintained. There were enough carpark. But a very sharp turn on a slope to get to it.
Free parking, the hotel close to city center and to train station Very poor breakfast, actually allmost not exist...
everything was very good
staff and location of hotel, close to Florence, Sienna and Pisa. All 3 cities have fast and convenient train connections to Montelupo.
receptionist very helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast adequate. Ideally situated near railway station, handy for city trips, Florence,Sienna and Pisa
The Bed & Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and the staff was so friendly and hospitable.
The receptionist Samantha was very welcoming and helpful. The beautiful villa is itself in nice grounds but is not far from an industrial area. The bedroom furniture was very dusty. The breakfast was just okay with limited choice.
The location of the Villa was secluded, the rooms were very large and nicely furnished and the staff were helpful and very accomodating. Empoli is the perfect location for getting to Florence and Siena by train. While there is a factory that is audiable, it did not detract from our stay.
