10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Super friendly, we spent all night talking and even had dinner together. They translated menus and gave me recommendations for area as well. Free drink on arrival!
Cons: That I had a shared bathroom.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was very friendly. We were warmly welcomed and got to pick a welcome-drink. The hostel is very close to the train station. The common room is nice and there is free tea and coffee.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and comfortable bed. The facilities were very clean too. Overall a good experience, would come again
Cons: The aircons need to be cleaned! There was a lot of dust on top and the filter was dirty too. The rooms are dimly lit which didn't bother us for a overnight stay but could be annoying if you stay there for a longer time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice staff, close to train station, good price and comfortable,
Cons: Really tiny walls you hear everything
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Style, welcome drink, oyster restaurant downstairs.
Cons: Forgotten password (our fault)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bunk style rooms - above a bar. the bar is super cool! Showers are very nice. In the centre of town, close to everything. Very exciting place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Terrific location, across from the bus and train stations made for super convenient arrival/departure and side trip to Tomonoura. Friendly and helpful staff... 7/Eleven right outside... funky styling... delicious welcome mojito - thanks! :)
Cons: Not a 'negative', but a heads up for tall Gaijins... We had a private double room (the one with the magazine wall paper). The bed was super comfy, but we only just fit, as the mattress had a wall at both the head and foot, with no space for overhang. If you're over 6'2" you might struggle to stretch out fully. If you're not sharing, then you could comfortably go diagonally :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were given a welcome drink of beer and the staff were brilliant. Very friendly . Washroom was new and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed talking with the female check-in staff (I forgot to ask her name!) She's super nice, friendly and gave great recommendations for local food - gotta try the omurice (and other things) at the izakaya nearby called Jiyu-kan 自由軒. The rooms are also very well designed and comfortable. I took the upper bunk near a huge window that opens up to the street below. I felt like I could sit there and watch people all day.

Pros: Staff was kind and welcoming, proximity to the train station. The room was very cozy!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We thought the hotel is a bit overpriced for a near business-hotel value, but it was worth every penny! The location is great, only one minute walk from Fukuyama station, which gives you direct access to Okayama, Kurashiki, Hiroshima, Onomichi, and the picturesque Tomonoura. The hotel itself faces to Fukuyama castle, which is a charming small traditional Japanese castle, especially nice during cherry blossoms. The room was spacious and well equipped, perfectly clean, and the staff was super helpful every time we had a question to ask. Highly recommend as a base to travel around the nearby prefectures and the Seto sea!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location - close to Fukuyama station. So very convenient for transport to Hiroshima and eating at the great range of restaurants at the station. The breakfast buffet was also great.
Cons: Nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and well- appointed, with lots of space for luggage, hanging clothes and drawer space. The bathroom was basic, but better than most biz hotel bathrooms. The castle view was fantastic, it was just right there in your face. One of the best "this or that view" rooms on this trip of more than 60 hotel stays. I love fresh air at night, so I really appreciated that the window opened all the way, kudos to this hotel for that. The breakfast had a small selection, but it was delicious and with a couple of unusual items, very good. Steps from the station, it could not be more convenient.
Cons: Nothing, really- they have done well with this property.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location. Reasonably priced breakfast.

7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is very wonderful and relaxing! I love the public bathing, it felt good! The rooms are excellent and quiet
Cons: The manager on duty for 4/20/19 discriminated and rude against me, didn’t allow my guest to come up to my room even though I was booked for 2 guest! This same guest was in my room for the entire time I was there and for whatever reason the manager decided to not to let her up to my room, I came down to explain and he still refused! I was disappointed and embarrassed about the issue with other people around to see the rude incident! This same manager seen her come with me to room on 4/16/29, no problem at all! The rest of staff was wonderful and helpful to me! The manager had a personal problem with me for some reason! All the manger had to do was check my reservations to see I was booked for 2 guest, but he still refused! Overall the hotel is a wonderful place! The hotel needs to replace the manager with more professional one! I submitted a request from hotel corporate office and no response back yet!

6.3 Good
Pros: The swimming pool was okay, but hysterically hot. We could not stay for more than a couple of minutes.
Cons: The staff did not speak to us at all. Normally if japanese dont speak english they explain things in japanese and you can sort of figure stuff out. But they were just dead quiet and even when we spoke japanese to then they would not answer, just look embarrassed. It was all very weird! We went out to find food, but the area is filled with clubs with men hanging around outside and did not feel very safe for me and my 11 year old. Cannot recommend this place if you are travelling with children!

Pros: Good and comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Big twin room. Super clean. Nice staff and helpful. Various and good buffet breakfast (continental - chinese - japanese). Discount to the super onsen just front of the hotel.
Cons: Bit noisy if the room is front of the avenue. No snack available in the machine or room. Bit far of the JR line but 5min by bus (stop just front of the hotel!). 10-12min by foot. Not really english staff or english manuel for air co but easy to understand.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Complimentary breakfast was a combination of continental style and Japanese. Great quality and staff made this more like a four star hotel in any other country.
Cons: 20 minutes walk to the station won't appeal to everyone, however the taxi fare is quite reasonable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is good for business hotels.
Cons: The staff's English needs to be brushed up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has the best check in (12pm!) and check out (11am!) times! And the breakfast is just perfect! Chicken, fish, pasta, scrambled eggs, frankfurters, umeboshi, salad (with the choice of a few dressings available!), miso soup, curry - I am sure I still forgot something! I have lived in Japan for 7 years and traveled a lot - this is one the best breakfasts I have met in the hotels! There's one more bonus you will have if you stay at this hotel - there's an onsen (hot spring) right accross the street. Bring your key card there - and you will have a discount. Hotel parking has a few areas (so you will definitely get a spot), and the parking is free!
Cons: No minuses that I could think of!
7.5 Good
Pros: business hotel style with huge room
Cons: a bit old style
7.5 Good
Pros: Amenities like tooth brush, shaver, etc are centralized at the reception. You take what you need at any time. Unlimited drinks are served by drinks machine at lobby. Feel free to take the Buffet Breakfast to your room if you wish, but do bring the whole tray back to the serving area. Do your own trashing and stack up the tray, cutlery, plates and bowls. This is very typical Japanese civilized way of self-clean up. And parking is free.
Cons: They do not have mattress if you have a 3rd party in a double room. Make sure you book triple room if you have a child with you.
