Furth im Wald hotels

Pros: very nice surrounding, very calm and quiet location directly in the nature. Very recommendable for families with children, absolutely gorgeous food in their own restaurant

Pros: Simple but yet very satisfying breakfast with lovely views across the fields from the balcony of the main building.

Pros: We were met with great hospitality. The breakfast was good enough. Amazing view from the terrace. Cosy blankets, if you want to spent time on the terrace, when it's not so warm. Free parking. Security lock on the hotel door.

Cons: A little bit far from Furth im Wald. But if you are travelling by car, it's ok. Wifi worked only in the restaurant, but it was written in the booking, that there's no wifi at all, so, no problem.

Pros: Excellent room and very cool

Cons: You really need a car to stay at this venue.

Pros: Friendly greeting, beautifully furnished large room. We enjoyed a cool drink at the bar downstairs, which was also frequented by local patrons and had a good feeling to it. Beautiful town.

Pros: First I thought that the noise would drive me crazy! But with the windows shut and at night it wasn't too bad, even though the property is right by the street. Breakfast was kept simple but still a variety of things! Food in the restaurant was amazing! Staff was really nice and ready to assist for any matters. If you want to explore, they offer a big selection for activity suggestions around the area!

Pros: It had what I have become to expect from a continental breakfast in Germany. Everything was fresh daily.a

Pros: The staff at the hotel were very kind, and went above and beyond to welcome us. Nice rooms, good food. Just lovely!

Pros: Breakfast was good. Not too far from the town although I was there on a Saturday and there was not much happening. Staff were helpful. I was travelling by bike and they were able to provide secure storage.

Cons: Had problems with the wifi. Advised there was nothing could be done because it was Saturday and tech guy not working. After a bit if to and fro, the manager provided me with his personal iPad that I was able to bluetooth off. Worked fine after that.

Pros: I liked the location. There were nice swimming pools (outdoor/indoor). The food was good. The staff was very friendly.

Cons: I travelled with my 7 year old daughter. Our room was all the way up on the third floor. There was no elevator. I had to carry heavy suitcases from the second floor by myself. Wi-fi didn't work the first day. It was fixed after my complaint, but still was very poor.

Pros: We liked the relaxing atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. The room was spotless. Even though it's a large hotel it felt quaint and homely.

Pros: The hotel is very spacious, with lots of different areas eg. fitness room, huge outdoor pool with plenty of deckchairs, spa with little bistro, nice pool- grotto. Even with many guests residing they seem well spread out. The staff were super friendly. Comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.

Cons: Sorry to say the buffet needs to be improved on. It took far too long for warm dishes to be replenished (15-20 mins) then it seemed to be a race to get something at last. Cold salads weren't replenished at all, just saw some strangely bits that were left on the silver platters. Ran out of dinner plates. If I'm paying for the buffet, I'd at least like the possibility to eat a little of everything, not just rests (at 7pm). The a la carte menu on the other hand was great !!!

Cons: Way too expensive for the service offered!!! 146 Euro for a double room for one night with breakfast for a hotel which urgently has to be renovated. The room was not even cleaned well. The whole hotel is way too old and dirty. Food in the restaurant was just awful - Greek salat which apparently was three days old already and a mushroom soup which was the soup not at all out of mushrooms - apparently the soup was mistakenly prepared by a trainee who had no idea how mushroom soup had to look like. At the end, the soup was still in the bill, while wast not eaten. Summary: if you have another choice - do not go into this hotel.
