love the scenery and the distance away from the crowds. Also it was great having amenities such as a kitchen and a seperate living room
I did not like some of the checkout rules. I feel as if you pay for a cleaning fee the check out rules should be different. The furniture was too worn and so wsd the linen
The cabin was clean, private; and charming. Loved the tub in the room ^ hot tub outside
Traffic noise but not really too much
The staff was very friendly. I love the woods atmosphere and the cabins were very cozy. We had an issue with the cabin they put us in, but was moved to another cabin right away!
The initial cabin we were given needed some upgrades. The recliner chair was missing the handle, one of wooden spokes on a chair was missing, and there was a leak in the ceiling from the upstairs toilet which dampened the downstairs carpet.
This was our second time staying at one of these cabins. It was wonderful. I look forward to going back.
This is the second time we've stayed in a cabin at Gatlinburg, the first time was with a different resort, but at the same site as this one. After reading the other reviews, was a bit uneasy about renting here, but decided to anyway. Overall the studio cabin was OK, it was clean and everything worked, the bedding was fine unlike what other reviews said. Also, the studio cabins are duplexes, (2 in one cabin) but are seperated by a 10 - 12 foot divider where the washer and dryer and foos-ball table were, so we never heard our neighbors. There is also a $58 dollar fee that you have to pay when you get there if you book it on any .com site. These cabins are all really close and none of the ones we seen that belong to this site had a view. All were at the bottom of the hill (mountain) and our hot tub faced the hi-way. I would advise paying a bit more for a better cabin possibly at another site, but it is still better than staying in a motel/hotel on the strip (for the price) if you want to get away on your trip. All in all this cabin didn't hold a candle to our first cabin, but it was on our honeymoon, so there may be other reasons why it doesn't compare, but is still a nice get-away especially if you only spend the nights at the cabin and days exploring the Great Smoky Mountains and local shops and sites.
Surprisingly beautiful lovely cabin at the foot of the Smokies. The cabin came furnished with bed sheets and linens and all the kitchen utilities you could think of. The one we were in was recently new and in excellent condition. I love the location and place it was situated in. It was a few minutes drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. WARNING!!! I would give this cabin a AAA except for the cleanliness. We found hair on our bed, some pills under the mattress, and unidentifyable objects in the jet-tub! We brought our own blankets. I would stay here again just because it was so gorgious.
Stayed in Misbehavin. Bring your own towels, sheets and pillows. Linens were old and shabby. Location was wonderful and view spectacular.TV remote did not work on old TV downstairs. Hot and cold water were reversed in the shower and upstairs bathroom. Iron marks were all over the very worn carpet downstairs. The cabin had a foosball table that was broken and just took up space. The sectional was too large for the room and made it very difficult to get around. With some improvements, this could be a very nice cabin. Be aware that this is a very limited resort.
These cabins are as beautiful as the web site portrays. The cabins are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The only things that were unexpected were the unadvertised cleaning fee and how close together the cabins were. Neither of these were disruptive. This location is just far enough outside the main strip to keep it quiet but close enough to go site seeing (about 5 min). Great place for a romantic weekend or a honeymoon. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!
