Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Within walking distance of some of the attractions we wanted to see. Small but cozy room.
Cons: Thin walls - could hear people laughing next door. Bed was a bit on the harder side (personal taste though, not the establishment's fault).
Pros: The room has a nice look and was very clean
Cons: had a ground-level room and could hear the people above me all night. I was next to the exterior stairs as well and they make quite a racket.

Pros: The castle was amazing. It looks recently renovated so it doesn't have that spooky feel. There isn't much to do on the grounds except relax and enjoy the scenery which is perfect for a romantic night's stay.
Cons: Just a note- when booking the castle, not all rooms are in the castle itself. You may be in the quarters in the back.

Pros: It's a large full service hotel which is bit of a surprise for Ireland and yet it still manages to feel like an inn. Our double/double room was large and quiet. Full Irish breakfast is included, there is a pool and restaurant on premise.
Cons: This is not something we didn't like but a heads up to other travelers. We stayed one night, a Friday in July. I called the hotel a couple of weeks in advance to ask if we needed a dinner reservation to eat there and the person told me no. When we arrived the restaurant was nearly full and they asked if we had a booking! Fortunately they were able to fit us in.

Parking was cramped. The hostess was friendly, but not 'on sight' The property is right in town with no yard, Very business area. Just not what I was expecting for the price. Breakfast was good. The gentleman serving hadn't combed his hair and looked quite disheveled. It was kind of cute, but not what you'd expect for a professional.
Pros: It was certainly close to town ! Maybe a little too close.
Cons: It was not a 'value add.' In other words, not what I expected for the cost, especially in comparison to other similarly priced B and B's. This is not a 'home' B and B, but more like a hotel. It was not as clean as it should be.
See comments above; also proximity to harbour& shops a bonus
Pros: Great hosts; comfortable bed in spacious room; wonderful breakfast. Also appreciated local knowledge & map of regional highlights. Definitely recommend.

Pros: The location is fantastic. The service was excellent.
Cons: The toilet in the room was old and did not work very well. The breakfast was not very appetizing.
Pros: Location in the center of town was superb.Size of room and speed of internet were great.Parking was very handy.
Cons: Bed-cover was to heavy and to warm. No individual sheet was present. Seating in lobby was lacking, possibly because of the really nice Christmas decorations taking up space!
Cons: The hotel says that it has parking, but the parking is down the street about a quarter mile, and it is not clear by the signage infront of the hotel whether it is ok or not to pull up to load out/load up your luggage.
