food, bar Lack of helpful staff on front desk at busy times od day
It had a free car parking and free interned. It looked elegent from outside.
Amenities. Inconvenient public transportation.
Hotel is good but misrepresented itself on the eCarTech website. It said it provided a shuttle service to the exhibition which was some 9 kms away. I had to take a bus & 3 trains after a hard days work (& having caught a very early flight from London) in the cold & snow! Then in the morning they said there was a single coach at leaving at 8.20 to the exhibition. There was no coach at 8.20 and I asked someone to give me a lift.
clean and neat staff was having their annual party, people at reception were very kind but didn't know much
Very nice, clean hotel. Hotel provided transporation to and from train station.
Easy access. Free parking lot across road. One child under 12 free; including breakfast. Staff is friendly and professional. Restaurant on premises. Exercise equipment free to use. Decent FP TV & channel selection. Spacious room with mini-bar & American standard amenities, In an industrial park, but beer garden patio backs to a residential area with direct access to green-belt path, playground and surrounded by agricultural fields. Pleasant and quiet. No hidden charge surprises at checkout. Did not honor my request for a smoking room; told none available only after checking in. Room was not air conditioned. A fan was offered but not provided, (told & observed that "comfort" rooms were being renovated). Fees charged for phone & internet. Coin charge for footbath & jacuzzis. Mini-bar & food prices a little high. Nearest gas & snacks about 5 km away.
The cost of €300.00 per night was robbery - when the normal rate was only €65.00 per night. I will be looking for alternate accomodation the next time.
The room was comfortable, clean, modern, and had desirable amenities. I did not like the location. The hotel was too far from local transportation and required that one take a local bus to the hotel. The latest the bus run was 9 PM so we were always hurrying to catch the last train on time in order to catch the last bus to the hotel. Also, the bus did not run on Sundays when we were leaving. Although the hotel provided a shuttle, they did not promise one and we had to prepare to pay 13 euros for a taxi to take us to the station.
There was so much space in the rooms. Very nice! One of the better 4 star hotels we have stayed in during our Europe stay.
large room and bathroom, clean, close to the autobahn exit, quiet area, close to the city (Muenchen) very epensive brekfast (15 Euro)
the rooms are very clean and large, the staff of the hotel is very efficient, good location, close to Munchen. wifi internet should bue free and the breakfast included, a litle bit noise because of traffic
Very good hotel (real value for money), in the soroundings of München, close to the A8 motorway, free parking at the hotel. The breakfast price (15 € / person) is very high.
Good overnight stay, not far from moterway and easy to find. Warm comfortable spacious rooms. Lovel Italian restaurant attached as an alternative to eating in the hotel. Wonderful selection at breakfast. Breakfast in the conservatory very hot despite being 0 degrees outside. There is an option of eating in the dining room.
Rooms were clean with good facilities. No bar or resteurant. However, there are bars and resteurants near by.
the recepsionist at night was so rude
The location of the hotel is superb: 5 minutes to the train station, 30 minutes to the center of Munich. We liked the design of the hotel and restaurant, the food there was also excellent. There were some problems with room clening. If you don't allow the staff inside before 10 a.m., your room will be uncleaned in the evening
Please write at least 15 words the food
Awesome morning breakfast - exceptional friendly staff and very helpful - Great location away from Munich's City center but nearby train station for easy access to anywhere you want to go in the Munich area They charge us a lot more money for their third night stay that we hadn't planned on staying because of Oktoberfest
We stayed at Holiday Inn Munchen Unterhaching for 3 nights during the first weekend of Oktoberfest 2010. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. The location of the hotel is about a 10min walk from the station, and the station is about a 20min train ride from the city centre. The hotel was a bit far away to get to, especially as the train that services the area is very infrequent - it only comes every 15 to 20mins. The price for breakfast was also very expensive - 18 euros per person. Much cheaper to grab a bite to eat from the bakery across the street from the hotel!
excellent breakfast clean quiet rooms
Th estff preformance and the quietinece of the area. The price of the internet service.
The room, the breakfast, the ambience Nothing in paricular
Very friendly & heplful staff. No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room.
We really appreciated the kind and prompt service, and the wonderful breakfast.
good location and perfect staff and service... The hotel is not small but very comfortable. I think i will advice it to everyone is enough far from the center, but easy to reach using s-bahn
idid injoi at holiday inn unterhaching vary good staf and qut location with larj rom but the ander grawnd barking is smol saiz
The location and food. 1-The poor response and lasieness of staff. 2-The price of services provided by the hotel i.e internet services and food.
Hotel was basically empty
During my stay I like wonderful atmospeer, chrismas decoration and kindly reception, delecious meal...
Pool was fab, great breakfast and helpful staff Not great value and the hairdryer didn't work
Quite nice hotel to stay in. Staff on the reception speaks english really poor.
The steam bath and the two jacuzzis were not working.
The breakfast was delicious. Rooms clean but spare. Bathrooms need updating. No air conditioning.
Very nice hotel, easy to access with a free parking reserved to the guest of the hotel, the room had a beautifull view on the montains with a balcon around your room. The breakfast is self service buffet with a lot of choices and it's fresh. No noise and very quiet. To know : the staff speak only german and english. The price is very interesting for this quality, big value for money.
trining how to treed the custmer the breck fast and the the is no resption
The breakfast staff were amazing and the variety was spectacular the evening male frontdesk clerk was very cranky and offered little help in english,he seemed to be better the second night
Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. And the receptionist at desk on our arrival in the evening was terrific! Receptionist in the morning on our departure rather abrupt and unhelpful.
breakfast, large room
freindly staff in the restaurant, excellent food and reasonable selection in the bar
played football indside
Nice and clean room
Hospitality was excellent
Silent , good location, good service
Refrigerator was warm.
We got a good family room for 2adults,1child and 1senior. The room was clean, very big and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We went to the small town of Miesbach and had some food in the local restaurant because the hotels restaurant had high prices. Breakfast was the best ever. Very rich in options. Some information was in english but most in german.
I liked the breakfast and the location (very close to the clinic where I was treated). Staff was helpful and nice. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant and welcoming. I think the price was quite high for a hotel located in a little town where nothing happens. The bed was not comfortable, the TV set was small and one could only see programs in German.
Comfortable beds and spacy rooms, we had a double room and that was very convenient. Bathroom and toilet are very small. Receptionist could be more friendly.
Typical Baverian hotel and decor. Very nice place to stay in the countryside outside of Munich. Good for golfers. TV so small you can't watch it.
Hotel was very nice. Small town and way on "S-bahn" to hotel gave me posibility to relax after the long day in the Munich. Old stile of hotel also was very fascinating.
nothing stood out. no, it is average
Friendly and accommodating staff, clean room, excellent price and good food, plus close proximity to other good restaurants and town center no
The hotel room was very comfortable and well located in the middle of this spa town.
Friendly staff, delicious food, beautiful room.
I like its location and the breakfast. The internet and the staff were very polite NO AIRCONDITION
The location was excellent. The food served was first class. Service was old style but very well done.
The dinner!!Excellent food. Room too big
Breakfast and dinner Hardly anything to do for small children
This converted American air base is a very unusual place. Without GPS it can be hard to find. Our room was huge, but rather bare and the bed was only a standard double rather than the German standard of 2 singles, which was rather odd given the huge size of the room.
The rooms were spacious and welcoming. Quiet setting. The bartender was excellent and accommodating. Difficult to find the hotel even with GPS, but this is partly due to some road construction.
the room was very nice and clean all brand newwe liked the breakfast very much we had one dinner which was also nice. we didnt like the area of the hotel meaning the arrivel way which is very complicated
I have to admit that the quality of the renovation materials is very good. We have a bad experience regarding the quality of staff. The cleaning of rooms was very, very poor. The wireless internet was working not properly, once of four times. One of the rooms doesn't have bathtub, as in the presentation for "comfort room". The breakfast was the same, with only 2 hot dishes, and very few other ones for a 4 star hotel.
I enjoyed the spacious rooms, the excellent Internet connection, the quiet country location, and, last but not least, I enjoyed a very good breakfast, included in the price of the chamber.
Everything was wery good. There was no mini bar.
Beautiful appartment, with all that you can ask for. From lots of light (that hotels seem to neglect) up to a dishwasher.
Very friendly staff and all quiet during the night.
location, comfort en good breakfast none
Comfort,hotel staff, breakfast
friendly owners, great breakfast, very clean, easy to get to
please change that old room key. the hotel is perfect except this key.
The food was excellent - evening meals The rooms are very basic and the bads very small. Not very cosy.
was quite and relaxing rooms are small and old ( furniture and Bathroom)
Comfortable room, friendly staff. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Airco would be nice in the rooms - summer weather in Munich is usually good and the bedroom was hot the night i stayed.
I liked everything and I thing every single thing was absolute brilliant very good value for money. Nothing
Yes, I did... Excellent hotel for the money I've paid the swimming pool did not work
Our last morning there was a gentleman at the desk who was very nice warm and made us feel welcme went out of his way early morning to allow us coffee. Staff standoffish not particularlly welcming cater only to business cliente We had been here several times before and looked forward to use of pool on arrival were rudely told it was under construction Breakfast was adequate staff initially standoffish but better with time Very disappointed overall Would not return again
Friendly staff and good location
It is really good hotel.
We had to leave at 6:45 am due to an early flight from Munich, and were not able to get anything to eat prior to leaving.
Beautifully decorated hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Excellent cuisine. Easy train connection to centre of Munich
This was an amazing place. It was charming, room was beautiful and huge. Probably the best hotel experience ever including cost. Would prefer non smoking every where especially dining room.
We loved the quaint little town out of the city spotlights. The staff were so helpful and most spoke English. The restaurant was on site and excellent. The breakfasts were also very good. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable place to stay. Also Aying was on the S-bahn so we had easy access to Munich.
Very fine hotel and the coffe at the breakfast now it's very good.
Friendly people, great dining, nice sauna, peaceful environment.
Very clean well furnished hotel with character, very pleasant staff.
We had a very nice room and opposite the hotel they also have an excellent brewery serving the local beer with superb food and very well known in Munich as a place to eat. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts I have had and I travel for work every week and stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. It also has a very family friendly.
The hotel was excellent and so was the staff and service. I found the room very clean and comfortable, and the presence of a kitchen (very well equipped, I could cook several times and feel at home) and of a DVD/Divx/USB stick/CD player attached to the tv made evenings after work very pleasant. Internet is free (although on a cable, but it was conveniently provided by the reception). I was so happy in this hotel that I cancelled my reservation in another hotel in a better location and returned there. The location is poor, but very convenient if you have to visit eads. A shuttle bus connects to the Ottobrunn station, but if you want to go out in the evening you have to take into account paying for the taxi from the Ottobrunn Schnellbahn to the Hotel (about 10 eur).
The hotel is pretty new, breakfast is also very good and the service very polite. It has not a transport service to Munich, so Taxi are needed and they are pretty expensive in Germany.
I loved the modern design of the rooms. The breakfast was also amazing with everything I want: good yogurt; cereals; eggs; good bread; good orange juice; etc.The room’s isolation of sound was perfect. We do not listen any noise from the corridor and outside. If you have a car and you don’t mind to travel about 10-15Kms this is the best option to stay in Munich.
I liked the room - just the right size. Also liked the small kitchen devices - quite useful The hotel is brand new and some small details are to be improved - like a robe to allow people to go to the sauna...
One of the best hotel, which I ever been and I Travel often.
The hotel was great, but finding it was not easy as it is not registered on the satnav. The single beds were a little on the small side and my bed was not level.
Very modern, 3star hotel of 5star quality
Thanks! The fine hotel new, with the affable personnel, with all conveniences, a good breakfast, a sauna and fitness of halls!
Hotel is greate Breakfirst could be better
It is very nice hotel and affordable. Internet is free. Internet is free but just wired.
Proximity to Munich and there are stores nearby, you need a car European mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable
Friendly, helpful, polite staff. Excellent restaurant and bar. Spacious rooms. Great value for money I did not like that one of the rooms had a shower located in the middle of the room. This caused a privacy issue.
The shower is located in the center of the room!
impressive breakfast and free minibar; design interior decoration, very nice; near s-bahn station; free parking in the neighborhood; definitely recommended!! no privacy for shower!
Free mini bar
Great breakfast bufett, friendly staff, I asked for an early check in and both rooms where ready when we arrived at around 10am The beds where a little bit too small and uncomfotable
Great Hotel, excellent staff, good restaurant.....good location for me ! Shame...lovely shower & no hotwater for the duration of my stay
good cleaan rooms and service. location. didnt realise it was far from the central station.
We enjoyed our stay at the Melia! The staff and surroundings exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel for travelers. We had a rental car and it was a quick trip to downtown Munich. The train station is also very close.
Rich selection in breakfast buffet, hot or cold. About 15 min drive to München centre. As there's no air condiitoning, we opened the windows to get some fresh air, however the No private "free" parking as advertised, but cost 12.5 EUR/day. Free parking are available but are along the streets.
interesting design, great food, very comfortable.
Location, close enough to MUC airort but in a relaxing location.
Clean. Excellent WiFi. The pillows were quite flat and stiff, they were difficult to sleep on. The noises from the hallway were quite loud.
The hotel was very nice, breakfast was excellent, staff were lovely It is very far away from the city - 1 bus and 2 trains. In the day it would take 40 mins but at night could take well over an hour
parking short program for restaurant
good room, nice staff, can stay till 1o' clock, parking
Nice room, restaurant and helpfull staff, very good value for money None
Price/value absolutely acceptable. really a 4 star hotel. Room was very clean and nice (like brand new). Despite the hotel is next to a road (in a small village next to München), it was very quiet (we were with small baby). Service was nice, breakfast good, people (staff) nice/friendly.
Free Internet, Free parking, close to convention centre of Munich no wellness, small room, only for nonsmokers
Got a spare razor, without a question.. Shampoo was missing, but not a big issue
The location was very convenient to me. Visited Campeon business park and this hotel was just 1 S-bahn stop from there, so there was good travel connection. The surroundings of the hotel is very nice and peaceful, and there is a rewe supermarket next to hotel building. Services in the hotel are in high standard.
Good clean room, wifi in the room. The staff was helpful with maps. Underground free parking for guests. Public transport into the city is easy but we used car instead. Its not actually in Munich, but a suburb city, but very close. 10 euro per person breakfast is expensive.
The location is a little far away the city centre, however in a quiet but safe distrcit. The tram station is within 10-minute-walk max.
Very efficient and functional. wlan was functional and fast. Free garage so no parking problems. Would definately go back.
it has a convenient store down stair. they didn't have the room for us. we have to change room three times. the staff was not accomodating and there is no apology.
The room is spacious and clean. The decor is stylish. Free Wi-Fi. The location is convenient with a 5-minute walk to train station and another 20-minute train ride to city centre. A few stops to OST Bahn where you can connect S1 or S8 to the Airport. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A supermarket is just at your footstep.
It is a modern hotel. Room and bathroom were clean. Nicely situated, not far from good and silent walking surroundings. In average the personnel was friendly and polite. I needed to be at Campeon, and this Hotel - one S-bahn stop away - is fairly situated for that purpose. There was no attention payed to visitors during breakfast. My room had a bit of a dangerous ceiling (diagonal through the room).
Great location, clean, well maintained rooms, nice breakfast There was an issue with a key card not working leading to a member of the party sleeping in reception and some confusion resulting in the party taking 13 rooms rather than the required 12 but I don't blame the staff entirely. They were much better at English than I am at German!
Comfortable, Clean rooms, modern decor and facilities. Breakfast is expensive.
Nice confortable rooms, free internet
good restaurant - easy to find
It's very closed to the motorway. It's very beautiful... it's worthy if you wants to visit Munich, Salisburg, Innsbruck etc. I enjoyed my stay!
Staff are extremely friendly and helped enormously with the language difference. The food was excellent. None
Good room with a balcony, free parking, pair of vials of mineral water in a gift in a number, good breakfast, friendly personnel.
Helpful friendly staff, good food, and spotless rooms None
staff was very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was fantastic, hotel had a nice Germany countryside ambiance. Not much to do in the town, but a good stopover on way in or out of Munich. When I arrived the manager didn't seem to recognize my booking.com reservation, although he did give us the two rooms we booked. I overheard another guest who used booking.com discussing their reservation as well. The manager insisted on cash for the rooms even though the website said they accepted credit.
The staff were especially nice, friendly, and capable. The building is attractive and dates to the 1600s. The little village is basically suburban but pleasant. The location is good if you want to be able to reach central Munich or the Munich Airport by car.
Excellent hotel, nice rooms. A place for children to play outside Ideal for the one night stay during our trip No possibility to pay with Visa or Maestro
Its was near autobahn and the room was ok The restaurant was not satisfied. Our dishes came in different times one had already eaten when the rest of dishes arrieved. Some of our order was forgotten. They didn't give us the bill but only the price, afterwards we ask for the bill and found out they had charged us for about 20 euro too much. 17 euro for two small dry lamb chops is rather expensive i think
