Breakfast was one of the best i have encountered in a hotel. The kids in particular loved the pancakes, waffles and nutella!! We loved the food in the Farina restaurant although i don't think the decor is as good as it could be, quite old fashioned and dark, maybe lighter and brighter color's and some fresher furniture would help. The range of activities for the kids is second to none, something for every age :)
I know this is a very small detail but i did find two 'silverfish bugs' in our bathroom, one in the bath and one in the sink, it kind of made me think how many more may be lurking around!!
Lovely coffee at reception
Lots to keep the kids busy, clean comfy rooms great tasty breakfast
Unfortunately my spa treatments had to be cancelled due to a flood, and 3 different vending machines I put money into didn’t work and didn’t give the money back, and our first night there spent 40 mins waiting on a salad a lot of the above was out of the hotels immediate control I’d just put it down to a serious of unfortunate events and wouldn’t put me off booking again
Staff were very nice, even with a lot of children around the area was always clean. There was an adult bar, which was nice and cosy. Room was very good.
Last orders were called at 12.00, no sign of a residential bar, Breakfast on the first morning was very good with plenty of selection from both the hot and cold sections, but on the second morning the eggs were like rubber, pastries were brittle and seemed to be over done in general most of the hot food seemed to be just warm.
Nice food. Comfy bed.
Too many kids running around the place. Not ideal for couples. Poorly situated for town. Loud depressing music in bar at 9pm. Kids still in restaurant at 9.30pm. The tv in the room was old, out of date and didn't work correctly. For 186 euro a night I expect a room with high class facilities and work to correctly. The room also did not contain a menu for the multiple restaurants.
