Pros: Roberto was really helpful and friendly, suggesting where to eat and advising us on the route to Pompei ruins. Excellent value for money. He also offered to drop us at the station on our last morning, which was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host Mr Roberto picked me up for free from Pompei Scavi train station which takes only 15 minutes by walking. The room is spacious and toilet is sparkling clean. Breakfast is adequate. There are some eateries and Mc Donald nearby. Roberto is very friendly and accommodating, can text him anytime whenever you need help. He even took me out for the best pizza in napoli with his friends, we had a great night out. Overall, it was by far my best accommodation and experience in italy. Highly recommended PompeiLog to everyone if you are planning to visit Pompei ruin.
Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: We were impressed by Roberto's hospitality and used his good local tips. The room was stylish and very clean. Train stadion is really close and the vicinity calm.we really liked the breakfast and that we could have its earlier before the departure.
Cons: Minor problems with cell phone connection.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Robert was an amazing owner. He gave us a ride to the Pompeii entrance on his way to run an errand. Bed was comfortable and shower had the best water pressure of any place in 8 weeks of traveling. Close to a McDonald's if you care. If you walk from ville Regina station, walk down the steps and turn right to take the way with best streets for walking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I could not have asked for a better host, the room was clean, I got a good night's sleep and the location was great, as within walking distance to the train station and to Pompeii.
Cons: Near some pylons, but I knew that beforehand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My stay here was absolutely phenomenal. The house was well kept, the room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious, the terrace had breath taking views of the mountains, and pompei is just a 20 minute walk. Rob, the owner, was extremely nice and helpful. No request is too much. I will definitely continue to return here. The stay was a great value and I had an amazing time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities! Very clean and close to pretty much everything! Roberto is fantastic and really goes above and beyond. We were lucky to receive wine and many treats that he prepared for us each morning. The breakfast is fantastic. We highly recommend this property!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely accommodating in every way. Beautiful old building, off street parking with a huge garden to get lost in. Large room, lovely decor, modern facilities. Close to shops. Giovanni is very friendly and helpful and is easy to communicate with. We had a lovely home cooked meal that was prepared for us by the family, however a restaurant can also be recommeded. An amazing experience that I thoroughly recommend if you want to get away from the tourist crowds and experience the real Italy. The property is only a short distance from Pompeii, making it a perfect stop over for those visiting the ruins and Vesuvius
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Have you ever been “pleasantly shocked?!” This is the place. Impeccably decorated. From the entrance to the king-sized bed our smiles were wide! Our hosts Gino and Anna are delightful, warm and enchanting! Greeted by Aperol, they are experts at making you feel special.
Cons: The neighbourhood looks sketchy... but we found it fascinating and safe.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Great pool, nice breakfast.
Cons: Massive hill walk up to the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, clean, lovely helpful staff. Great views, very good value restaurant.
Cons: Not so much a don’t like, but be aware the hotel is up on the hillside up a very narrow steep road, so choose your car/hire car with care as access could be a little tricky! ( but it is worth it
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly people and amazing cheap and good local restaurant attached. Comfortable bed and good aircon in rooms - and the remoteness means there aren't hoards of people. The town is great - not a touristy place at all and great access to Monti lattare etc. Great value too
Cons: It's a 30 minute walk from anywhere down not particularly nice suburban roads - so not so good without a car. They offer a lift to town though, which is very kind. Sound insulation between rooms not great.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Please refer to comprehensive Trip Advisor review, Scottysdad
Cons: As above
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good
Cons: Maybe the cameras
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and tha staff were all great. They even helped me setting up a surprise for my girlfriend for our anniversary. The hotel is family run and there is a great restaurant just 50 meters away ran by the same family - food ia delicious service is quintessentially Italian and the view of Vesuvius is spectacular. Would definitely book again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is a little out of the way but the gps took us to the front door . Once there the place is amazing . Million dollar views of Naples and surrounding country side . The staff is amazing , knowledgeable and friendly . You feel like family . The restaurant run by Peppe one of the brothers is quite an unexpected surprise . Travelling for almost a month , best stay in every way to date
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff (both named Francesco) were extremely helpful often going above and beyond, picking us up from and dropping us at the local station. The view was breath taking, the swimming pool was a welcome respite from the heat and the restaurant up the stairs served great food as well as very welcoming and friendly (run by the brother). The rooms were spacious and the showers always had hot water and were very powerful. Would definitely recommend to people. Although some distance from the station, was pleasant to be away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the town. Breakfast included a variety of foods including cereals, continental as well as choice of eggs. Villa Catiè is ideally situated for trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. The hotel has contacts with local agencies and can organise tours for you.
Cons: I tried to contact the hotel via booking.com and did not hear back promptly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you have a car, this is a wonderful place to stay! Free parking, great views, low-key relaxed environment. Close to hiking trails. Wonderful pool to cool off in. Great value for drinks around the pool. Room was very nice and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Room could have supplied a small clothes rack - other places we stayed did, and it really helped us be able to get our clothes washed and hung out to dry.

Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible stay! The flat was fully furnished with all the amenities to make our stay as comfortable as possible: air conditioning, a washing machine, TV, screens on the windows (rare in Italy but so so nice, as we were able to leave the windows open in the evenings for a nice breeze, without inviting in any mosquitoes!), a coffee machine with capsules, and even some breakfast items to welcome us, which was incredibly appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday evening and couldn’t find an open supermarket! The owners are super friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and provided us with fresh towels every few days. The flat is perfectly located, and is a very short walk from the town’s central piazza, where we found groceries, great coffee, delicious pastries, and amazing pizza. We truly felt this was a home away from home, and would return in a heartbeat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and tidy, calm, nearby Amalfi Coast, friendly and helpfull staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good. Lovely owners, lovely view
Cons: Bed a bit to hard
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable- we could not have asked for more on our trip to Campania to visit the Amalfi area! The owners are incredibly kind, and gave us a thorough tour upon arrival. The flat is spacious, with all the space and amenities we could possibly need, including a washing machine, which made our trip SO comfortable we are now asking ourselves how we ever survived without one on other holidays! Great shower, and the bedroom air conditioning was a huge added plus. A gated parking space was provided, and we were given local recommendations on the best places to eat (the food in town is delicious!). We will definitely be back on future trips to the area!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The apartment is very nice, equipped with everything you need. The yard is big and excellent. We felt very very well here. Supermercato is near the house. And the location is perfect to visit Amalfi coast and Pompeii/Vesuvio. The host are super nice. Thank you for everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The owner is such a lovely and friendly lady, and the accommodation was super clean and neat. Great garden too, clean and convenient facilities. Everything was perfect!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts was very friendly and nice. Our apartment was very spacious, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom absolutely clean, bed comfortable. Villa's yard big, cozy, perfect for chilling in the evening or taking sunbeds in day time. Only few minutes walk to small supermarket and few pica restaurants - it was very handy for us. So if you want good accommodation for good price and you don't mind to travel the narrow serpentine road through the mountain to reach the magnificent Amalfi coast - this villa is for you :)
Cons: Everything was good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Clean, comfortable, The garden is beautiful, view at the mountains, breakfast is great, lots of options, the overall family hospitality is just amazing. I have nothing else to say. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Family owned hotel which was really nice. Recommended local places to eat and even cooked a homemade dinner. Would recommended them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed a home cooked meal with another couple. The meal was prepared with food from the garden and local wine. The daughter spoke English and was very helpful. Without her we would have had a hard time communicating.
Cons: The property was very difficult for us to locate. We did not speak Italian so getting help locating the B & B took 30 minutes after we were close to the property. We enjoyed the meal but we would have paid more for a larger selection. If you stay for dinner, you should ask in advance what is on the menu so your expectations are met. The rooms were nicely furnished and the AC worked fine. The breakfast was disappointing compared to other places we stayed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The nicest, friendliest and most helpful couple on my journey. Welcomed me into their home with fresh juice and cake and gave me all the advice I needed. Great breakfast to. Coffee was amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean place. Amazing people. We had a homemade typical Italian food. It was the best meal we had in Italy. Highly recommend to anyone. It was a home away from home.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely B&B run by a lovely family. They are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's especially useful to be able to get a lift to & from Pompeii archeological site, so save driving & parking. They also provided a home-cooked evening meal (extra charge of course).
Cons: The shower is rather small and not very powerful. I would have preferred to pay one cost upfront to include individual use of air conditioning, rather than having it centrally controlled unless guests pay extra to have their own control.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were lovely. They charged 2euro per person to pick up or drop off at the train station which we thought was really good of them and also good value for money. It would have cost us a lot more to get a taxi or other transport. They were very helpful with planning our tour to the Amalfi Coast and just an all round lovely family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a nice place to stay. The hospitality of the family who runs the hotel is enormous and they make you feel at home. It's possible to eat there in the evening and I must say it's the best Italian food I've had since we arrived in the country. They have a beautiful garden with home-grown fruits and vegetables and the local wine and homemade limoncello is something you have to try (a lot). The room was nice and the matras was of great comfort, which I think is important. There is the cutest little kitten walking around that helps waking up in the morning when you enjoy your breakfast. The hotel is located in a good position if you want to visited Pompeii, Napels, Amalfi, Sorrento etc. We definitely want to go again when the time comes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people, really looking forward to going there again (Camilla, Nunzia, Antonio and Flavio really open and pleasant people) Outstanding breakfast, amazing food made by Nunzia The coffee also really strong and flavoury Really clean, nice rooms Quite close to Pompei, Ercolano, even Napoli by train for instance.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The croissants at breakfast (at least one thing positive) were fine and the mattress was good.
Cons: Everything was completely creepy. Stay away from this hotel!! The first picture that appears in booking is a trap: that is a picture of a painting that is hung on a wall. The bedroom was stinking all the time and when we called the reception to solve the problem, they simply said that booking was complete and could not change the room. Instead, they sent a housekeeper that simply "perfumed" the area with a disgusting detergent. I can still feel my headache that night because of that smell. One of the bath towels was bloodstained!! This place doesn't even deserve one star!! This is a place for events, they organize weddings and such, so we feel completely neglected. They didn't even tell us what time the breakfast was, we needed to ask. Talking about the breakfast, oh my god. Don't even know where to start. Food waste from the previous wedding (sweets, cakes, cookies, etc). The most poor breakfast I've ever had in a hotel (and this is a five star hotel, so we can imagine how bad it was). Awful, except the croissants. This is NOT a hotel. This is a party/wedding venue. I don't know which entity issues the five star hotel certificates or recognises the luxury of the hotels, but I will certainly search for it and I will report this situation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely, middle of vinyards and fig trees. Staff was friendly and we thought our Positano room was good value for money.
Cons: It was fairly difficult to reach hotel because of road work. Local old man took us finally there after we drove around 30mins or different google map directed roads, which all ended up being ”no goes”.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The property itself is absolutely gorgious! Very ornate and over the top. Lovely grounds.
Cons: Our bathroom was small and awkward, the bed VERY hard, breakfast wasn't great....we were the only ones in the restaurant for supper.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Magic Castle, charming hotel, very nice "palace like" architecture, stairways and corridors packed with artistic, antiques and vintage items. very nice setup, perfect for honeymooners. Price is surprisingly cheap (for what you get) Very good dinner, very helpful staff perfect location before / after driving the via Amalfina
Cons: Might be noisy if there is a wedding in the garden (not too bad) long wait for elevators no public transportation
7.9 Good
Pros: Stories from the past.... Good if you like...
Cons: It wasn't clean as much as I want...
4.6 Okay
Pros: Large parking area.
Cons: This might have been a five star hotel way back. Not anymore. This was just vulgar and tasteless. And worst of all: it seems it’s always a party going on! Live band playing very loud at late hours. When we complained about the volume, making it impossible to even think in our room (the windows were shaking), the lady in the reception seemed to mean that this was something you have to accept: ”it’s a party! It will not end before midnight!” Sorry, but when we book a hotel room, the main reason is we need somewhere to sleep! NOT to listen to a party! Luckily we got to change the room. So if you stay here, always book a room in the annex!
4.2 Okay
Pros: The style was different to anything I’ve seen , quite cool.
Cons: The pool closed at 1pm every day so we were unable to relax and chill out for the day as nothing else to do apart from get in the car to drive. We only had 2 nights at the hotel and we were moved 2 times as there was a massive wedding on both nights, loud and noisey and staff were rude to us when we asked for a slightly quieter room as it was loud thumping dancing music and screaming under our window. We were moved to a small box room which had no balcony or anything which we had originally.
6.3 Good
Pros: The castle
Cons: Breakfast, facility
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, helpful staff, nice garden.
Cons: Area around.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel itself -Old fashioned Grand Hotel -very unique
Cons: Too much decoration-in the middle of nowhere without roadsigns breakfast :cold eggs

Pros: The host and staff were very friendly, and did everything to make me feel comfortable. I really enjoyed staying there. The room was very quit.
Cons: If you come from the autostrada E45, make sure to use the "Pompei Est-Scafati"-exit, and follow Via Nolana. Don't use the "Pompei Central" exit, because the Via Guiliana road from that exit is very bumpy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view and pleasant outdoor seating area Clean rooms. Friendly manager Good breakfast
Cons: Outside of town and no shops or restaurants near, need to take taxis every where if you don't have a car
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Villa Julia is located very close to ancient Pompei, overlooking Mount Vesuvius. We arrived by a car, so free and a spacious car park was a bonus. Breakfast was good and met our expectation. Room was big with air con and balcony with a beautiful view on Vesuvius. You can even have a picnic there, as at the back of the villa is a huge garden. Our host, Pasquale, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us advise about restaurants and car parks around Pompei, ordered food and was available on every request to make our stay perfect.

Pros: We stayed at the suit (very pleasant sea view) and huge height of the room and terrace (4 meters or more). Excellent coffee, nice view from the restaurant to the bay, good choice fruits, vegetables, yogurts. Even champagne (sparking wine) was available in the morning. We've got a birthday cake as compliment :)
Cons: The road to the hotel is really narrow. We've arrived late (almost midnight) and it was really hard to pass between parked cars and stone wall. Especially when driving on wide car (I had a luxury sedan rented). Also hotel has underground parking - I even didn't try to make it. Thanks, to hotel they've provided wallet parking.

Cons: The area was fantastic, staff was very very helpful and friendly. The facilities was excellent.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view, top service
Cons: their is not enough facility in the hotel to be an excellent 5* hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was situated high above the ocean overlooking the small town & port.
Cons: Unless driving (which is a nightmare), you are very limited as to where you can walk to. If you do have a car, it's best to leave it at the hotel & use their courtesy bus to the train station as driving took us 50 minutes to drive 7 miles!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place. The staff was so friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful time. Our room overlooking the ocean with a balcony was beautiful. Their main restaurant within the hotel was great-we did the tasting menu and were blown away. Every one on site was super professional and made for an excellent stay.
Cons: That we had to leave!
6.8 Good
Pros: Restaurant was great, staff was great
Cons: Bathroom and room small, couldn't sit straight on toilet no room for legs. Really uncomfortable.

Cons: I booked 2 rooms for four adults and one child (aged 17).One of the room was for 2 people for 276 euro and the other one for 3 people for 345.60 euro. The whole amount of money was 621.60 for 4 nights. When we part it. the owner wanted 80 euro more and he said that this was for the third bed.He divided the total amount of money and added 80euro.We actually paid for the room for 2 people 310.80 (it was offered 276 ) and for the room for 3 people 390.80 (it was offered 345.60).I was unpleasantly surprised and offended.

Pros: The view... my god the view. Having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the stunning landscape and coast of napoli, priceless. The rooms are beautiful, the wood work is stunning, no rickety latch or doors getting stuck, everything has such a great build quality that is made me appreciate every inch. Spotless! The room were also so fresh and clean, great sleek contemporary design natch with the rustic atmosphere and top quality mill work. Sammy, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our trip that much more enjoyable, you were so accommodating right from the start, and our breakfasts with you each morning made us feel so comfortable and like we were starting each day like movie stars, especially with that view lol. My wife and I thank you.
Cons: We had to leave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location & Views, The breakfast and the hospitality.
Cons: Italy is hot so aircon would be nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and confortable bed and breakfast. Big room, modern. A huge terrasse on the top to have breakfast with a beautiful view on the vesuvio and on the bay. Whole breakfast with fresh pastries that the owner brings every morning. Very quiet place at the top of the hill. The owners are welcoming and here to answer any request. Very resting place after a long day!
Cons: A bit tricky to follow the little street to get there with the car with 2 big turns that require manouvering. Air con would have been nice at night cause it can be hot at night in the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Bed and Breakfast is very far from the main road up in the hill, not simple to get there driving 4 kms.

Pros: Location fantastic. Loved the garden. The staff were brilliant- so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Reception staff superb, and so informative.
Cons: Water in cold tap running warm a lot of the time! Breakfast was a bit limited-- would have liked some fresh fruit, and boiled/ scrambled eggs rather than fried.

Cons: Can not think of anything.

9.1 Excellent (754 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Astoria Vico Hotel places you in the heart of Vico Equense, within a 10-minute walk of Gulf of Naples and Sorrento Peninsula. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle and a train station pick-up service are provided for an additional charge.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view across the bay to Mt Versuvius was amazing. Vico Equense as a location for a base on the Amalfi was great - only 10 minutes on the train to Sorrento. The hotel was located less than 100 metres from the train station and maybe 200 metres to the main square where there were plenty of restaurants and a laundromat. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: The only issue for us was the hot water for the shower was only ever just warm, and on the morning we needed to get up early it actually took 10 minutes of running the sink and shower taps before the water got even remotely warm. I think it was because we were the first to use it and the heating unit must be a long way from our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's near to Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi coast and in the same time is in quiet place. Stuff is fantastic- friendly, kind and helpful .Rooms are breathing Italian style and are very clean. And what to say about that stoning view :just wow......

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for exploring the local area. About a minute from the station. Lovely restaurants within a 5 min walk. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend a seaview room as the view is amazing but there is also a lovely terrace to enjoy it from. Comfotable room and lovely bathroom.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent quality/price. Comfortable, clean, quiet. We slept very well and got a good breakfast. Staff was very nice!
Cons: We booked a superior room via ebooking which was confirmed, but then the hotel called us to inform that only the standard room was available finally. We therefore paid less so at the end we were happy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to railway station
Cons: Noise from bus station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so friendly and amazingly helpful. They extended help and were so gracious in terms of providing whatever information they could. The hotel was super clean, the terrace was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I will absolutely return again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff; organised our transfer from Naples airport (for a three-generation family group of six people) most efficiently. Ideally placed for visiting Pompeii and other local sites as the hotel is a three minute walk from the railway station. A good choice of food set out for the attractive buffet breakfast, and a good choice of local restaurants for other meals.
Cons: Nothing.
6.3 Good
Pros: good proximity to train station and town centre.Friendly helpful staff
Cons: breakfast good choice but didnt look very fresh,on reflexion should have gone to local town for breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel -- staff spoke english, excellent breakfast and great coffee, right next door to the train station. Room had a kingsize bed and balcony facing the sea.
Cons: Be aware -- this hotel is in Via Equense -- about 7 mountainous kilometers from Sorrento. Via Equense is worth a visit in its own right -- had the best spephetti carobonara of my entire 30 day trip to Italy in the town square -- but just know, it is not in Sorrento.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly atmosphere
Cons: no
4.0 Okay

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our room and the whole acccomodation was very clean and nice, we loved it. I think it's an almost new building. We had a parking place. The accomondation has a nice garden with tables and seating. The breakfest was delicious. The host was nice. 5-10 minutes walk from the accomondation there are some quite cheap local places to eat and drink and buy food. 2 km from the accomodation there are some kind of city center with many places and shops. By car you can easily reach many destinations of the Amalfi coast and Naples. Pompei/Vesuvio are only 10 minutes drive from the accomodation. We were there in the middle of September. At this time driving wasn't a problem, but parking in the towns of the Amalfi coast not so easy and cheap.
Cons: The location of the accomodation is not too fancy but okay if you have a car and you love authentic local towns. Fortunately the accomodation has parking places.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very very beautiful. It is very cosy. Place for parking in closed terittory. Very clean. Everything is taken care off. It is best place in Italy in my trip. Definitely coming back if will be in area Naplis.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great.
Cons: It has to be access with a car and could be easily missed. The owner provided limited assistance during our stay, no hospitality whatsoever. No lift. The price dropped more than 50% after a few weeks of our stay, which is still the tourist high season.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful clean property with affable hosts
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and the owner was very helpful. He picked us up at the airport, suggested food places and dropped us off at the bus station.
Cons: It might have been coincidence but the entire week we spent there, there were fireworks happening between 11 pm and 12 am. It wasn’t the average breakfast, as it is only a few slices of bread, pastries and cold cuts.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: We had a lovely time. Beautiful rooms.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Beds so hard couldn’t face a second night ! Pillow poor quality and linen and towels poor quality and thin . Location really run down and industrious with lorries and road noise The host was not helpful or around hardly at all. No hot drinks allowed or provided in room and access to coffee/breakfast area locked and had cameras within it Not welcoming . List of rules see
9.2 Excellent
Cons: The noise of the traffic around.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owner. Clean. Well run. Close to Pompeii and Vesuvius.
Cons: Yogurt in the morning was low quality. Unattractive neighborhood.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly Staff, Clean and beautiful room, superb Pool area. The Suite was exceptional, with a fantastic sunken jacuzzi bath, a great walk in shower and a lovely big comfortable bed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: LOVED the parking, the pool, and the spaciousness of the room! The free internet access was great! The American theme is a nice, unique touch. We stayed in the Grand Canyon Room, and coincidentally, we are from Arizona! The room was very clean. The property seemed like an oasis. The well-maintained, park-like grounds was were very soothing and relaxing. The breakfast area was very comfortable with a great view. Those working at the property were all very nice and helpful. Great place to stay, especially if you're traveling by car. Oh, we liked the birds too!
Cons: The pillows were bad. They were thin and didn't provide any support. The hotel, although fairly convenient to many things (Pompei, Napoli, Salerno and the Amalfi Coast) it isn't located close to anything other than the highway. You have to drive to find any restaurant or store. Perhaps being away from everything is part of it's charm, but it would be nice to be a bit closer to some things.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was super clean and modern, and the kids loved the Las Vegas themed room. Our room had an amazing view of Vesuvius from the balcony. Best of all, though, was the friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. The room, the whole building was very clean as the pool. The breakfast was also good: fruits, juices, sweets, yoghurts. Near to Pompeii and to the great places in bay of Naples.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Highly recommended if you drive your own vehicle
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The proporety is new, really clean and the 3 girls who runs it, are fantastic. The garden is neat, the plants are gorgeous and the apartaments large, aery and quiet. Our view was on VESUVIUS, so we woke up every morning admiring it. The Italian breakfast a bit too sweet for us, but all artisanal, very good quality with a breathteking gardenwiev. I also like to mention the quality free toielettries, ECO. Our room was kept spotlessly clean. Thank you! You deserve this perfect 10!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good value for service

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location and the views of Vesuvius and sea. Hotel was clean All of the staff were wonderful especially Manager Lucina who was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast were adequate, lovely cakes and pastries.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, it was quite funny watching my husband squeeze himself into the tiny shower everyday. Some of the interiors in the room could do with updating, I was forever knocking the lampshade off the bedside tables which were not affixed very well. Room are quite thin so you can here a lot of conversations from adjoining walls and reception. We were on first floor. It would be great to have a few more warm options for breakfast, would be happy to pay extra for this if it was offered. These are all minor things, given the fab time we had. We would definitely stay here again for location and excellent service from staff!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good for ferry but did seem a bit noisy late at night early hours of morning,
Cons: restaurant overpriced and food not great just ok
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, great place, over looking the sea, well decorated...but sofa bed v uncomfortable, and pillows definitely need an upgrade.
Cons: Noisy during the night
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff went beyond what was expected from them and were helpful with all our requests. The view from our room was spectacular, much more than we had expected.
Cons: Our only very small complaint was that the bed was extra firm which made sleeping a bit difficult. Other than that we had no complaints at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, wonderful location, lovely breakfast & restaurants nearby
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent in all ways apart local tourist information (see below). Rooms were smallish but very comfortable. Balconies looking over the marina and sea to Vesuvius were terrific.
Cons: The hotel had no local knowledge available. There was a free shuttle bus mornings and evenings but hotel had no knowledge of local bus or train times nor ferry times. We had to go out and find it all. Breakfasts were enjoyable but limited as there were far too many cakes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel fresh & bright with lovely views of marina & Vesuvius. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: How lucky we were to find this gem of a hotel. So glad we choose here instead of the hustle & bustle of Sorrento. Only 8 rooms, we occupied 3 & each were spotlessly clean ( clean towels every day) comfortable & every room has a balcony with a sea view! We give the staff, all of them from reception to bar staff 5* rating. So friendly & helpful. Breakfast was perfect & the on sight restaurant was also excellent, local food but after all you are in Italy! Courtesy bus which operates from morning to late evening which will take you to local town & train station. We used the train to visit Sorrento & Pompeii, 7 mins one way, 11mins the other for 4 euro return, a taxi from Sorrento was 80 euro so no contest there. Everything about this hotel is first class. Thankyou for making our trip even more memorable, we will definitely be recommending you :)
Cons: There were no negatives at all! We are a well travelled family & could not fault this hotel in any way!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved staying here, the host was excellent and the room was great. Good breakfast included. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Salvatore's generous hospitality is cheerful, prompt, skillful. Beyond meeting all requests no matter how unusual, he anticipated unspoken needs such as local advice on sights, food, transport options, etc. His B&B is a labor of love!! His service was so comprehensive, such as not only conveniently providing the Pompeii ruins audioguide/GPS at reasonable price, but took care of activation and demonstrated its features thoroughly. The breakfast variety was impressive and delicious, and he cheerfully added soy milk when I mentioned my lactose intolerance (not often accommodated in Italy yet).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were simple and clean. Breakfast was good and our host made us cappuccinos
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Able to store luggage. Friendly and helpful host with a smile on his face.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic communication from the very beginning. Great directions to get there by train from Naples (hint - the station closest is Pompei on the Scavi/green line, not the Sorrento line) Wonderful friendly host with lots of helpful tips for our couple of days in Pompeii. Room was plenty big enough for the 3 of us (the shower cubicle is a bit of a squeeze but I think that’s usual in Europe) and spotlessly clean. Plenty of restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away near the church and Piazza. And only 5 minutes stroll to one of the Pompeii entrances - closest to the amphitheater) Breakfast was great, lots to choose from and the coffee was as nice as I’ve had anywhere else in Italy.
Cons: Pillows were quite firm. Nothing else worth mentioning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was great, very friendly! The room was lovely but the massive selling point here is the lovely cosy roof terrace. After a long day exploring this was perfect to sit and relax with a beer!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole staff was amazing friendly. The hotel was spotless extremely clean. Breakfast was delish. This is the second year I went back and I can’t wait to go back again next year with my family. I highly recommend this hotel
Cons: Loved everything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view, helpful staff, great food. The only drawback was getting to the hotel and parking.
Cons: Parking accomodations, and location of the pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff at reception very nice and helpful, help you with parking and taking out your car when you need. Room very nice and comfortable, view to the bay is very beautiful. We didn't use the pool, just went to see it, it looks very nice but you have to climb many many stairs to get there.
Cons: We came to breakfast around 9 am and some of the dishes were already finished, and not renewed. Also the waiter never approached us to ask if we want to drink or have some eggs, only when we saw him bringing to other people we called him and asked.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the food, the view and the nice rooms, friendly staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location Great staff at the front desk. Very comfortable rooms. Delicious food at the restaurant.
Cons: The waiters at the restaurant were lost. Did not bring the food on time and for the transition from one plate to another was at minimum half hour, too slow. I spend an hour to wait for my food on the second night. The should be able to speak good English since the amount of tourist visiting the area. Parking lot is too small, a lot of room to make mistakes while parking. They should have another bigger spot to park the cars. Three different internet connections, they should standardize with only one for the whole Hotel. The suites are in the first floor which is not good. Someone paying more for a room like that should at minimum have the best view.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel where the Italians have wedding receptions and family events. Interesting to watch.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel proved to be a good base for exploring the wider area (Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento, Capri) and provided a smart, air conditioned mini-bus for drop-offs and pick-ups at a good price. The hotel pool and bar areas provided a luxurious places to relax and enjoy some down time.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: The view of the sea and the pool were lovely. The balcony had a great view too and the room was ample for 4. Nice shower. It was well located at the end of the main pedestrian road. Very helpful staff when we hired a car.
Cons: There was no kettle with tea and coffee. The pool was in the shade from 12.30.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly and attentive staff who spoke good English. Lovely breakfast spread. Very clean pool, rooms, restaurant etc with lovely decor. Driving distance to Naples, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast (although roads and parking around this area of Italy are not easy). Beautiful gardens and pool (when they're actually available to other guests who aren't part of a wedding party). Plenty of parking at the hotel all the time. Aircon, TV, fridge, en suite, shared balcony in our room.
Cons: Location wasn't near a lot. Good job we hired a car (although roads are very stressful around Italy!). Massage wasn't the best and they pushed our booked time slot back an hour and then were late anyway. You have to pay extra to use spa facilities. Pool is only open until midday most of the time and sunbeds aren't set up (we had to wait for a member of staff to put them out for us). Also have to wear a swimming cap which you have to pay €1 for. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Food in restaurant was very average.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is best of the best, a very charming, very clean place. Young ladies speak very well English at the front desk and they very helpful to provide any information of the local area. We retuned to the place way back home. This place is highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: It's a good hotel, the room is big, the breakfast and the dinner are tasty and diverse. The personnel is very polite.
Cons: While staying, there were 2 days when there was a party at the 1st floor hotel's restaurant, and it was noisy in the hotel till 23.00. It's not very convenient for the guests.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good value for money. Beautiful hotel with great facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big and comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. Our own lemon tree on the balcony! Amazing view over Napoli and Vesuvius. Really nice food from chef at the restaurant. Free onsite parking.
Cons: Simple and repetitive breakfast. Local area of the hotel is not very touristic, hence car is beneficial.

8.8 Excellent
