The Yavapai Lodge restaurant is the ideal place to mingle and come together for hefty and traditional Southwestern dishes. American comfort food was the inspiration for the menu and features beef brisket, smoked ribs, and the signature southwest bowls, filled with rice and beans and topped off with grilled chicken or beef barbacoa. Burgers and pizza are also available, as are children’s meals. Another special treat at this restaurant is the Chuck Wagon BBQ where guests can enjoy a delicious platter of one entrée and two sides, as well as a drink.

Complimentary park ranger programs are available for all ages where you can inform yourself about the history, science, and nature of the Grand Canyon. For athletic guests, guided biking and hiking tours are also offered, and to learn more about the Canyon without having to wander about, guests can watch the Grand Canyon: A Journey of Wonder movie at the visitor center. A visit to the rim with style is possible by going on a mule trip.
