What about the Westender? You guys are 5-star in my book! We just returned from a week there, November 2011. We felt treated like royalty and family all at the same time. This hotel is perfect for people like us; independent minded, desirous of peace and...... a piece of the Jamaica of years ago. The ocean front location is FOR REAL - it is your personal front yard. We enjoyed snorkeling in our own private bay whenever we wanted. Watching the sun set was a highlight and glorious way to wind down every day. How about the jam session in the restaurant that featured admirable versions of 3 Little Birds and One Love with Germaine, Kemar, and Calvin as back up singers and the bonus of a dissertation about Bob Dylan, by the nomadic 60's expert Steve.^) My wife enjoyed going next door to Jackie's on the Reef for massages. The WestEnder's snapper rundown, barbecued lobster and spicy jerk pork were outstanding. When we decided to get scooters the staff arranged everything. They were appropriately concerned when we left but smiled when we returned safely. When we traveled with the hotel staff, they quietly followed along, watching every move. Germaine you were great, both driver and security guard! The Westender set us up with Nelson and his nature tour when we wanted to visit Treasure Beach. Never a dull moment with Nelson who knows something about every plant growing along side the road, as well as any town we drove through. Nelson has mastered the science of mixing safety with social contact with the use of his vehicle's horn and brings humorous interaction with other locals, Ya Mon! Our room's air conditioner worked wonderfully after each adventuresome day and the wireless connection gave access to the outside world. From the quality sheets and comforters, to the tiled baths, to the taste of the furnishings, to the view of the ocean from the balcony, the room was awesome, and Karen our housekeeper attended to our every need. The thing about the Westender is getting to go ...
I loved the friendly attentive staff. The gorgeous grounds, breath taking view and the calming ambiance, excellent food, convenient and affordable shuttle. I loooooooooooove this place and will definitely be returning and referring friends.
The staff was very pleasant & helpful. Being that it is off season, there were only a few other couples staying there, so we rarely saw anyone. Although this says it is a bed and breakfast, the breakfast is not included. It's a very peaceful, quiet place. The restaurant was not open for dinner on our last day. This is a very secluded location & most people do not rent a car, so you are completely dependent on the onsite restaurant and shuttles. The security guard did send out for food from in town for us.
The beautiful surrounding people were nice Food was terrible we had to leave to get good jerk chicken. Shuttle service was terrible we stayed at bongalow and was far from thing I have a back issue where walking long distances is painful we could not get a ride when I filled a complaint is was still not fixed. We thought there would be more beach type activities everything opens so late in the day.
Relatively new property. Modern amenities. Large room. Big balcony. Renovated. Great beach bar Restaurant was great! Personalized welcome. Great location on 7 mile. Room could use more cleaning (floorboards and walls in our room needed a bit of love). Still not nearly as bad as other properties we've stayed in Negril. However, as a "luxury boutique" a few cleanliness matters should be addressed (at least for room 232.) "Oceanview" was just a partial view of the ocean. This could be better explained in the description. I booked "superior oceanview" not "superior *partial* oceanview."
good location, rooms continental bfast (included on daily price) was 4 cold toasts two pieces of butter and jelly and thats all! reception staff extremely slow and not helpful with tourist info, room was not available upon check in, when asked how could i join a sailboat cruise the recepcionist simply stated "i dont know"..restaurant service was very poor and unfortunately the beer was never cold enough... thats it. not a good experience for the price ($300 a night!)
the location was great! Right on the beach in the heart of Negril's 7-mile beach. There is a place to rent bikes/scooters right across the street and there are tons of restaurants within walking distance. unfortunately, the staff was really bad. Very poor customer service, not friendly, and at times down-right rude. It really detracted from our stay and we would not return to this resort as a result. We would try one of the dozens of other hotels nearby, which are comparable in cost.
hotel was very quiet and relaxing... great views not very close to 7 mile beach, but you are able to use sister hotel beach which was very nice
I have only words of praise for the recently refurbished Le Mirage, on Negril's West End--- a fine, highly enjoyable stay for my wife and I, with a shaded, ocean-front cliff location. The room was lovely, casually upscale(with an excellent bathroom and kingsize , the view from our upstairs private balcony , the carefully tended swimmming pool allowing easy access, designed for that pleasurable optical illusion of pool water meeting ocean horizon...a good place in the morning to sit and have the complimentary continental breakfast included with your room(fresh coffee/juice/fruit & bread). Let me say: this property is as attractive as any in Negril. The genial manager is an efficient, 24 hour on-property hostess happy to assist during your stay.In this part of town restaurants and bars are in easy abundance, and along the winding road the mood is relaxed. If such adjectives as 'low key', 'quiet' and 'visually stunning' are those you wish to attach to a travel destination, it is at Le Mirage. Security is a given, no worries. Others may wish a more high-profile party atmosphere---there's no pre-arranged activities on site, but IMO that is actually a plus(what little we wish to do we can well-handle ourselves): we loved our comfortable privacy, the Caribbean outstretched in a wide panorama. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? I'm not trying to exaggerate---all in all, as fine a stay as I've ever had in Negril, and that is the truth. Driving into Le Mirage's gates meant we had our own comfortable space waiting, with no worries. A+ in every way, as enjoyable as any stay I've had in Negril, or for that matter Jamaica as a whole. Recommended, and IMO a bargain.
cliff diving, beautiful nature,
Room was spacious there were to double sized beds there was a flat screen with a couple good channels. its on the cliff side so you can stand and look out at the ocean good scenery for couples. There was an ac in the room but they wanted to charge 20 dollars extra to use it the beds were hard. The food was $16 a plate i am originally from jamaica you can get a large plate of food for $4 dollars up the road. The staff treat you different based on your skin tone. There were no wash clothes or soap good thing we brought our own. This place is far from dream weekend activities so if you go for ATI I STRONGLY DONT RECOMMEND. All in all if you have the money to waste this is for you but you can do better trust me. Also they take 100 dollar deposit when you get there.
I can't sing enough praises about Couples Swept Away!! Even when first arriving in the airport, we were treated like royalty. The Jamaican people have the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced. There is entertainment nightly, the food is fabulous, and drinks are on the house ;) We were certified in open water scuba with the resort dive team and they were so wonderful (thanks guys!!) I have already recommended this vacation to many relatives and co-workers and I would encourage anyone who is up for some adventure or just looking to hang out on the beach to give Couples a try!
Very good all inclusive resort where even scuba dives are included! Food is good. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's was my third time here and I will be back.
Couples Swept Away was truly a magical place to stay! It was as if it was set down in the middle of a remote jungle, yet had all the amenities of a high end resort. The service was impeccable from all the staff, from the moment we arrived at the airport to the time we left. Most of the entertainment was great! Lots of talented singers! There was always something fun to do, or you can do nothing but lay on the beach if you choose (which is what we did most of the time.) If you want to eat at Feathers or Lemongrass, make your reservations as soon as you arrive. They fill up fast! Also, if you want to get a shady spot on the beach, set your alarm VERY early to save a spot and put your towels out on a chair. We were there for five days and never quite got up early enough to get a shady cabana:^( We will definitely be back to Couples Swept Away!!!
The resort is beautiful. However, the sand fleas and mosquitos are awful. There were 8 of us in our group. Three of us had bug bites covering our legs from our ankles to our knees and the others had at lease a handful. We could not pin point when we got them but it made the rest of the trip a little miserable. My husband thinks they were in our room. We stayed in an atrium suite. It is a little annoying because there is no glass behind the shutters on half the room. During the day the staff comes in and opens all the shutters letting out all the cool air. They will come and shut them when they turn down the bed but if you come back in the meantime and wants some privacy you have to go around and shut them all.
Stayed with husband in August 2013. Resort was clean and beautifully landscaped. Stayed in a Garden veranda suite which was very close to the beach (some road noise, but not much). The room decor was pretty bland, could use some updating. Food was good, but I wished there was more authentic Jamaican food (oxtails, curry goat, etc.). The walk between restaurants is kind of long, but we didn't mind since it was along the beach. Entertainment was nice, but would love one night of energetic dance hall music. They should close the casino since I never saw anyone there are and many of the machines didn't work. The club was lack luster and the piano bar was a bore fest. Favorite part was the catamaran and the snorkeling. The trip to Times Square duty free mall was nice. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were yummy. We didn't have any problems with mosquitoes, just a few flies. The minibar was great, stocked with pretty much whatever you want. Security on the beach (which was beautiful) was tight. Compared to other all-inclusives, you do get a lot. I would recommend not only reserving your spot for Lemongrass and Feathers, but also for the excursions. The glass bottom boat only sailed once a day at 9:30.
Could not have been better will go again.................................................................................................
Staff was awesome! Already talking about going back
This is a great resort for Couples of all ages, especially if you are active. The included activities are really what pays for itself, so make sure you do as much as you can! Food is top notch for an All Inclusive, and the beach HAS to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. For a more detailed review, check out my reviews on Trip Advisor!
We went to Jamaica expecting relaxation, and that is exactly what we got. Booked a Premiere Beachfront Suite (the only real bonus here was that we had a wraparound porch on ground level on the beachfront, any room looked beautiful there), which was open and clean. Had an incident about 4 days in where the ceiling started pouring water onto the bed, but fortunately we were in the room and able to save our things. We were promptly moved rooms and they gave us a free couples massage! Minor tip: book the free amenities early (sit-down restaurants, glass-bottom boat tour, etc) because they fill up fast! The staff was friendly and everyone seemed to genuinely have the Jamaican carefree spirit. Nothing like seeing the guy picking up trash singing happily at the top of his lungs, just because.
Only reason I would not recommend to friends is because there are resorts that have updated facilities and amenities for similar prices.
It was absolutely beautiful, and was worth it for the money!! People were great, food was great and staff was great!!!
Entertainment was excellent, rooms were nice, resort was gorgeous. It is mostly quiet. Age range from 25-55 with most in their 30's. Staff interest varies with most being interested in decent service.
The Charela Inn is centrally located on Seven Mile Beach, which makes it convenient to get the full experience of the beach. The staff is amazing - so friendly and welcoming! The rooms, grounds and beach area are always clean and maintained very well!
I have stayed at charela inn many times during the last ten years. The rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. air conditioners are somewhat loud. The staff are great very helpful and friendly. The beach is the best in negril. t he food is wonderful but expensive. I recommend this hotel as an alternative to the large all inclusives.
Lovely, charming hotel. Beautiful rooms, great location. They didn't let me put my dinner on the room one night, which was inconvenient as I didn't have my credit card or money handy.
Great food! The most wonderful staff! Everything you look for in a romantic vacation spot!
My husband and I just got back from a week at the sunset. It was very beautiful. A small resort compared to the ones we've been to before...which we liked. If I had to say anything negative at all it would just be our room and the fact that they only have 2 restaurants. Our room was nice and was at a good location, but our shower didn't drain and our air didn't work until the end of our trip. We did tell the front desk and our air was fixed but not the shower, it needed more detail work. I'm sure we could of switched rooms but we didn't. We stayed in 412. We LOVEJamaica. Everyone is so friendly. The beach was great even tho it was across the street. Very beautiful grounds. Defiantly worth the trip.
My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago. We were looking for a quiet get away and that is what we got. There was not a ton of entertainment at night but the bartenders made it fun! (stay away from the Bob Marley shots) Garth was the best bartender and look for 'John Wayne' outside by the road, he was the cab driver we used all week, if you go here, tell them Mark and Holli from Texas said Hi!
Sunset is a great place to stay. Randy 'John Wayne' Taxi out front is the way to go. We upgraded to the two story suite and it was worth every dollar. Only downside is the beach is across the street and they do not have Red Stripe in the room. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous. Sunsets at the beach are amazing.
I attended a wedding at this hotel knowing the wedding guests were required to pay a $70.00 fee if they came early and intended to have free roaming privileges 2 hours before and until the end of the wedding but assuming if not, the fee was not required. I reviewed the website the day after the wedding and saw the FAQ for weddings at this hotel included this: Is there a cost for guests not staying on property, to attend the ceremony? We wish to advise you that as our valued in-house wedding guests, your non-residential guests attending your wedding may arrive at the resort thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of your wedding ceremony. We require that they stay within the immediate area of the wedding at all times. As a policy, only resident guests are allowed on the guest floors. We do ask that that they come to the resort already dressed for your wedding however, should any of your guests wish to change for the wedding, the resort offers a hospitality area for that purpose. Should guests opt to take advantage of the all-inclusive package, they may do so by purchasing a day pass of US$70.00 per adult and US$35.00 per child (3 – 12 years old). This policy as it relates to your non- resident guests is strictly enforced. Therefore we do ask that this be clearly communicated to your guests prior to their arrival on property. We investigated how we could dress for the wedding if we came and used the pool and surroundings and were told there was no place to dress even though the web site states there is and we decided that we would just attend the wedding and reception and not pay the fee since we didn't intend to use the facilities as there was no place to dress and we were in a hotel 30 seconds down the road by car (i timed it). We arrived just in time for the wedding (most of us with little cash and no credit card) with 4 other guests who also had not paid and we were all refused entry to the wedding unless the fee was paid. What did the hotel wedding planner ...
Best location in West End. Quaint rooms with all amenities you would need. Not luxurious but comfortable.
Rooms were very Dirty and Old . Linen on bed is very brown towels very brown . Our room was rob and 2 I pods stolen from our room and also 2 cell phones and money was stolen from my husband wallet .. I wound never recommend this place for anyone to stay ......Staffs a bit friends Dining area very dirty . Property Very Dirty .... Disgusting Place to stay ....
My time that i spent there was great wish that i could stay longrr
On the cliffs of Negril is this fantastic gem called Xtabi-quotThe meeting place of the Godsquot. When you think of paradise this is where the images come from! Rustic laid back atmosphere with good food cold drinks many caves to explore this is where you want to relax. You wont find luxury linens towels. Shoes optional. Heck youll be lucky to get air conditioning! But if you want breath-taking views beautiful gardens and warm friendly people Xtabi is where to stay. After over 10 visits to Jamaica my family I have been here twice in the last 3 years and are currently planning our 10 summer visit. We would not stay anywhere else.
Excellent place to stay in the Negril area for an affordable price. Staff very hospitable and hotel grounds are very well kept. Will definitely stay there again!!
In addition to the cliffs, off of which one can jump, and the platforms on the cliffs, on which one can sun, it has a small sandy area under a cave to allow easy entry into the water. There was a great relaxed romantic atmosphere throughout the property.
The location is excellent! Being right n the cliffs provided such a beautiful view and we were able to cliff jump and snorkel just steps away from our room. The staff was not very friendly during our staff and did not assist us much when we would have questions regarding the island. At times it seemed I knew more about Jamaica than they did and they were difficult to deal with
everthing very clean, staff super friendly perfect
Did not like the constant harassment of the natives along the beach. Some of the thing that these people were saying was quite uncomfortable and unpleasant to hear. did not kike the constant smell of marijuana. The rooms need updating and the room we stayed in need painting and the bathroom needed fixing. The other extra fees that had to be paid when we arrived need to be made known when you are booking on line. The front desk staff was most helpful. The young lady that looked after our room did a excellent job to make us comfortable.her name is Norma.
The price was right, the room had a/c, access to Samsara (far better than Legends) No fridge, dead bees in the pool, mosquitoes and cockroaches in the room, no wi-fi in the room, guys sitting outside the property harassing guests to take trips, buy stuff or take taxis. Loud music blasting on the beach and guys walking up and down yelling party information through a megaphone
Air conditioning Friendly staff Buffet was not self serve Coffee wasn't complimentary Wifi was only at the restaurant. No access in rooms
I like the staff was very nice ,best beach ever Shower water was a bit slow to start with
Breakfast was included in the price which was nice. We ate one evening meal at the treehouse and thought the food was fair
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast options were very limited. However, the food that was served waas very good.
I liked the breakfast, the grounds are well maintained, staff are pleasant, resort is sizable, some amenities and activities are free including yoga and paddle boarding. Location is at the far end of the beach before the all inclusives start, so a little quieter than mid-beach. I didn't like that Kayak.com did not allow any space to enter a preference about the room I wanted. Kayak.com needs to have a note space to enter requests/preferences about a reservation. I called Kayak.com afterwards to note the request on my reservation but (surprise!) the request was never received by the hotel. This was the second time but also the last time that I book with Kayak.
I liked the Tree House because of the great customer service as well as the great beach front location.
tHIS IS OUR FOURTH STAY AND IT ONLY GETS BETTER. yOGA ON A PADDLEBOARD. jAMAICANS ARE THE BEST AND THE BEST WAY TO ENJOY jAMAICA IS STAYING AT THE tREEHOUSE. Very relaxing.
Tree House is a lovely place on the most beautiful beach in Jamaica. The staff is welcoming and kind, without being pandering. The rooms clean and adequate. I loved the fact that the place is not all-inclusive. There are taxis always available and we had fantastic meals in Negril. Also, this is the best value on the island.
atmosphere, comfort, ease of access to the beaches and the relaxing, calming attitude of every body I found that the $ll.00 per day along with the $9.08 a day rather much, as patrons are expected to tip the staff (who more than earn the tips)
Treehouse resort has it all! I would surely stay there again. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts full of options/ jamaican dishes, a very comfortable (albeit small) well-equipped room- and to my delight- an outdoor rope chair for each room. The bed was quite cozy and the room A/C as frigid as you'd want to make it! I thought I would be disappointed with a "garden view" room opposed to ocean view- but the garden and grounds are so lovely and well kept, it was like being in the jungle right next to the beach! I especially loved waking up to groomed sand and well-kept beach loungers that are set out each morning. The staff were friendly and not overbearing, however it is diffucult sometimes to know who actually works there vs. who "says" they work there... I am not a well seasoned international traveler, with this being my first trip out of the US. Admittedly, it took me many days to acclimate to the Jamaican way of "sales". I am used to approaching someone/a business for a service when I'm interested in it, but here, as with all other places I visited in Negril, the service providers chronically approached me and I needed to interact and politely decline, each day. This went for taxi, massage services, the restaurant, the gift shop, etc.
Rondel is the best place to stay along the beach. It has the amenities I want - chairs and a fun bar on the beach. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The location is convenient as well. But the staff - Delroy, Donovan, Karl, Johno, Oman, all of the wait staff, cleaners and front desk staff are what sets Rondel apart from the rest!
I WENT LAST SUMMER IT WAS OK STAFF WAS WONDERFUL FOOD WAS OK ROOMS WAS OK IM A FAMILY OF 4 AND THE BED WAS TO SMALL FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND THIS YEAR WE WENT TO BEACHES IN TURKS AND CAICOUS OMG IT WAS SO GREAT OUT OF ALL THE PLACES I BEEN TURKS BEACHES IS THE THE BEST 100% IM BEGGING MY HUSBAND TO TAKE ME NEXT SUMMER IT IS AWSOME AWSOME THEY HAVE FOOD TO CHOOSE FROM 16 RESTURANTS CANT WAIT TO GO I LOVE BEACHES IN TURKS...
Nice resort, good food and drinks, friendly staff. Alot of families and children, so if you are looking for a more quiet or private setting choose a different resort.
We recently stayed for 1 week with 2 small children. The workers at the resort are very friendly and always say hello and make you feel welcome so if there's an area that is really good, that's it. The beach is also terrific and there are plenty of chairs at the beach. The activities and food are another story. We went because of the children's activities but the hours operated weren't given much thought. They post from 10 to 5 for the water park which is the primary fun for the kids. What do you do with kids that get up at 6???? At the very least it could be open at 9 and close at 6, well before it gets dark! To make matters worse, the last day we were there the kids wanted 1 last dip in the 'Lazy River'. We had to get a shower and dressed at 10:30, so like they always say, No problem. BUT - they did not open until almost 10:30 and the kids were broken hearted. We spoke to 5 different workers from 10 to 10:30 and all they could say was 'it's a maintainance problem'. Nonsense - they were just late like most of the other activities they schedule. It was not uncommon to have 30 minute or more delays for the start of things. Not only that, there were not enough life jackets for the water park and people were waiting for others to get out of the water to get a life jacket - totally unacceptable. One also gets the feeling of beng sold almost every minute of the day. For an 'all inclusive' I found it offensive to have nuts in the room with a sign they were $* They also push pictures and the prices were exhorbitant.
Awesome resort!!!!!!!!! My daughter was just married at Beaches Negril. It was truly the most beautiful wedding and the wedding planning staff was excellent. The wedding party consisted of over 40 people there for a week. We enjoyed all the watersports and swim up bars. Children were entertained everyday. What a wonderful place for families.
Food Allergen Friendly. Great chef and meals!!!!!!
The Beaches in Negril was better than expected. I read all the reviews about run down facilities and rude staff but encountered neither. The resort was beautiful. The grounds were kept in great shape and were well maintained. The staff was very friendly and couldn't do more for you. Our party consisted of myself, my wife and two children ages 6 and 3 with my inlaws coming the day after us. The six of us found plenty to do or not do depending on your mood. The pools and beaches were great, always an abundance of towels despite what I read in other reviews. The water slide was my 6 yr olds favorite and there is a 48' min height requirement (which is on the website I might add). The water sports staff was extremely helpful, my wife actually learned to water ski while we were there. The x-box garage was another favorite for my two boys, was a great way to let them wind down from the day. The food was above average with many many choices at the buffets, the Sevillle Italian restaurant was really really good (service a little slow with food but wine glass stayed full). The Kimono restaurant got good reviews from my Inlaws as I did not eat there but they were impressed. I would suggest upgrading to a concierge level suite, we had wine and cheese plates delivered to our room every night. Its a service only provided with concierge level suites and its not only for wine and cheese but for anything else u might need and they are EXTREMELY helpful with all your needs. All in all a great trip.
We had an AMAZING vacation!!! We have 3 children- 4, 6, and 9 months. The children LOVED the kids club and WANTED to go to dinner with the kids club the last 2 nights than go to dinner with us. Everyone treated our baby like their own. She was the youngest at the kids club during our stay so she received so much attention. WE LOVED all the Nannys at the kids club. I really can't say enough about how caring they were towards the kids, especially the baby. It was the best of 2 worlds - a wonderful FAMILY vacation but 2 hours a day for just my husband and I, yet they were just steps away from us the whole time! We like that it was small, but not too small, because the kids club, pool, and beach were steps away. There was so much to do for adults and children of ALL ages that we possibly could not do it all. The service at the restaurants was not the best, BUT everything else made up for it. The bugs did seem to bother a few people (including my husband) but the rest of us were fine! We can't wait to go back.. FYI-the waiting room for the bus at the airport is AMAZING!!!!
We went for the 5 day 4 night trip. It was an Great trip all around. We had fun everyday and there was so much stuff for us to do that we wish we would have stayed for the week. We cant wait to go back. We were in the cheepist room and the room felt like the top noch room, it was a beatiful room all around and we were not looking at the water our room faced the spa and it was just great to walk out on our belcony and listen to the birds and look at the amazing surroundings that jamaica has. i hope you take your family there its great for kids all ages and greatt for adults also. = )
No warning about severe jellyfish problem ( many sting one severe). Don't get injured Nurse is a cold fish,, you basically get no medical service, but you will get a bill. I was injured on one of the hotels watersport sponsored activities and I was told by two mgs. that I signed a waiver. Thanks a lot. Management argumentative with no compassion.
I am 11 years old and my and my family went to Jamaica's beaches in August of 2009. It was the best vacation I have ever been on. There are no words in the dictionary that can describe the staff members at beaches. The food was great! There were buffets at certain times. There are several different 5 star restaurants al throughout this resort and of all types of food. The rooms where clean and organized. The activities where the best. Water sports, slides, pools, ocean, parasailing, kids camp( which was the funnest thing ive ever joined) Everything! Bathrooms were clean and maintained that way. We would absolutely go again no doubt about that!
I just got back from a trip to this resort and have not stopped talking about it since i've been home. The people/staff members were great with everyone. The food was alright, but always available. The room was nice, we also got the upgrade for the ocean view room and it was very nice. I saw that a lot of the reviews stated the kids were all over however i'm 23 years old and had a blast without being bothered by kids. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! I am already trying to plan my next trip here. Its all what you make of the trip!!
Love the resort, Love the staff! Everyone working there seemed to be happy to be working there and happy to help with anything we needed! It was clean and easy to enjoy all that the resort had to offer! The food wasn't super but it was good! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated fabulously and can't wait to go back!
Location, harmony with nature, snorkeling, beach, salt water pool! Bring back the peacocks!
Location and privacy
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Everything! It was an ideal setting and the owners and manager are wonderful. Perfectly quiet but never boring. No!
The staff was very friendly and treated you in a special manner. They advertised rooms with satellite and cable television, but neither of them worked. cost of excursions and optional all inclusive dining packages were priced too high. The food selection at there restaurant was very limited, they served small portions.
The location and how peaceful it was. n/a
The grounds are beautiful! The peacocks so much fun! Jefferson is a wonderful host! General and Ron very helpful! Snorkeling amazing! Stars, beach all to ourselves, and the 'lightening bugs of the sea'- like being in a dreamscape... Unforgettable! Off season is great because u have the place virtually to yourself- downfall the dining option should not be offered- food was a bit of a hassle even though we had told the cook we'd be back for dinner. Other than that a great stay!
This place was very pleasant. It was clean and the staff was amazing. They were helpful about information about what areas to explore. The whole time was a pleasant experience. I would like to visit this area again.
Private and away from the craziness - but not too far. Small beach
The location. The wait time for food and expense of the excursions. The price should include meals and drinks. The resort did not have any events.
The staff was amazing...The room was beautiful...The food was fantastic...The private beach was too beautiful for words nope
Wonderful nature , private , clean and amicable staff Internet service was poor but was nice to have a break
