Clean room, great location, nice furniture. Stand alone sink with no counter-top in the bathroom.
Very very strong smell of cleaning product.
Very clean. Very inexpensive. The bathroom had been renovated. Good mattress on the bed. The area seems rundown. There weren't places nearby to eat or hang out. The room was very average looking. We wondered how safe the area might be.
The bed was very comfortable but this was more of an apt style living. Very nice room and beach theme was cool. They gave us only 2 towels and 1 washcloth!! And the next day no one came to give fresh towels or make the bed. They have ice buckets in room but no ice machine!? Also the hours are 9-8pm which are horrible yet no one was there at 9:07 am when I went to sign in and get more towels! Too expensive for what you get. Service sucked! Won't stay there again.
Didn't like the added $100 security deposit in addition to the room costs. Was told by Scandia Lodge that it was clearly referenced online but didn't see it. If I had, would not have booked the hotel.
This motel is old but reasonably kept up. The rooms are what you would expect from a Super 8: Basic, no frills. The bed was not exactly uncomfortable, but surely nothing special. The room was clean. Overall, I would stay there again if I were really pinching pennies, but not for any other reason. The location is superb if you are traveling up or down I-95. It's right off the expressway. But the area in general feels unsafe. The last time we stayed at this location (many years ago) a drug raid happened on the premises in the middle of the night. The woman at the front desk assured me that this sort of thing no longer happens at this facility. Still, I wouldn't leave anything valuable in a car, for sure! And from observing the other clientele, it's fair to say that this motel is NOT a place you want to stay to be among the socially refined.
No hot water after 11:00 AM
The location was convenient The room was missing a lot of things. The beds weren't made properly, there was missing furniture, the phone didn't work. It felt very unsafe and was way overpriced for what we got.
Nice clean room No ice or vending machine. Pool not in operation.
staff were nice very noisy location, room had a strong odor
Very clean. recently remodelled room. Fiendly and responsive service. Short distance to beautiful beaches and good restaurants. Great deal for the price. Train passing nearby. It does not matter however if you stay at this motel or at 5 star hotel at the beach you would hear it.
Pretty much nothing. The location is OK, fairly close to Lake Worth Downtown. One of the cheaper places in the area, but certainly still pricey, and no excuse for the experience, which was the worst. Dirty room, unfinished room, Transient Long-Term occupants that are out of their rooms milling around the complex constantly. My front door had a metal grill on it that was covered with a plastic bag so all the people outside were loud, super dirty room, guests (or transients) kept knocking on the door and yelling through the plastic bag on the door, and on and on, until we found a bed bug... Then we left the hotel, and wound up sleeping in the car in a wal-mart parking lot. I want my money back, but wasn't willing to even go back there.
impossible to understand person at desk ,no elevator or luggage cart, or luggage rack practically no soap and no shampoo and other toilet amenities king bed not available definitely not 3 star rating In additio9n h they called and asked us to relocate to another facility because they were over crowded but the place was very empty on arrival
Nothing - not even cheap for the price Mold all over shower curtains, fungus growing on shower tiles, smelly towels, dirty greasy linens. Bed bugs in mattress! The list goes on. Stay elsehwere!!!
Owners were racist rude and aggressive unnecessarily I have never had such a terrible experience in a hotel/motel. Rooms were also very low quality outdated and poorest quality toiletries I have seen at a motel! This was over all the worst experience I have had while traveling! Stay away not worth it!
I wouldn't know. I never stayed I booked the same day, ended up not needing the room, canceled and still got charged for the room.
I liked its location so close to the actual Palm Beach area and it was in the middle of a Cuban community so there was a lot of nice foods, but it definitely was a shadier part of the city. The hotel was a good price but I wouldn't stay if it was for more than our one night. The hotel was a great deal at only $60.00. Since we were staying only one night, I'm not usually too picky about where I shower and sleep once in my life. The hotel was older so, of course, everything was dated. Check out was at 11am, so I assumed check-in was at 12, so after our 17-hour drive there, I wanted to check in immediately. We arrived at 11:53am. She told me she was not done cleaning all the rooms to check in at 1pm. So we walked down the corner to Havana. When we finally checked-in, the room was very hot, so we turned on the wall unit to as cold as it could be. I immediately took a shower and there wasn't any hot water. I hate the shower turned as hot as it would go and it was barely luke warm. I'm assuming it was because the owners turn the hot water heater down during the day? Regardless, I took my cooled shower and we did what business we had in town. overall, it is bearable if you're staying just ONE NIGHT, but anything longer, I'd have to spend an extra $30.00/night, because I can't keep showering in tepid water.
