Close to the railroad tracks. Poor breakfast
Lovely historic building, very pretty. Friendly & Helpful hotel staff The air conditioning makes too much noise! When you switch it off, u will be steamed in our room. Bad Wifi connection in our room, at the corner of the complex!
The hotel cancelled our FIVE rooms on New Years Eve due to a clerical mistake. I called numerous times to fix the matter and was never able to speak with a manager. I was told many times that the manager would call me. I have yet to hear from him/her. This establishment ruined our NYE, and we will not be returning. If you choose to stay here be sure that you have a backup reservation else where.
I think the neighborhood El Cid is cute and Hotel Biba has a cool vibe to it. Nice landscaping, minimal design in the room. Very chic for the price. My shower drain clogged and caused the water not to drain for more than 12 hours. The mattress springs were jamming into my back. Our room was right next to the lounge area where breakfast was served and apparently there's no insulation in the walls. We could hear everything from the sqeeky door opening /closing and people talking all morning.
It was inexpensive and close to downtown west palm. Outdoors was really nice, but inside was alittle disappointing.
I like the pool, privacy and staff. Room were basic but comfortable the location is a bit busy but they have created privacy with greenery but it is close to main streets so noisy, the walls are also thin so TV can be heard there are also lots of people hanging around the property from local businesses, I think there are cameras everywhere but the hotel could be more secure
I liked the central location. It was close to City Place, the Convention Center and not far at all from the beach and Palm Beach across the Intracoastal. Being located in a beautiful historic neighborhood was a major plus for walking. I liked the cute bar and outdoor terrace area - it was so quaint for the continental breakfast. Very clean and well maintained. The lush landscaping did a lot to mitigate the fact that you are located near a major thoroughfare/intersection. Too bad it is so close to the railroad tracks.
The clean amazing rooms! Felt like I should have paid way more, such a good valuem wow blown away.
Pretty clean and new. Staff was very friendly and continental breakfast with fresh pastries from local bakery was a nice touch. Grounds and breakfast area were nicely landscaped and furnished. The air conditioner dudnt get very cold and didn't do a great job dehumidifying the room. It was, however, very rainy during my stay. There was some noise during the early morning probably as a result of other guests shuffling around and heading to breakfast but this wasn't too bad. There was also another person's hair in the shower but otherwise the place appeared clean.
slept like a baby bed & Pillows out of this world.. breakfast in patio ,nice. felt a bit european atmosphere wise. pool needs work no lights at dusk /night.temp cold. lobby fantastic looking very euro.. but not a pleasant smell.in lobby during those 2 days..(yankee candles recomended) staff very attentive parking a breeze. however i noticed a lot of traffic coming from el cid motel/apts from behind biba frequenting premises..nite security might help.other wise very accomadating place.
The room was clean. The bed was comfy. TV worked fine. The gentleman who checked us in moved his car so we could park in his spot. The gentleman who helped us check out was very friendly. Limited parking. When we checked into the room we were escorted to our room because "it was a bit creepy back there". We were in an outside room in an alley that had no light. When I asked if there was another room since I didn't feel safe I was told no. Once we got into the hotel room there was one towel. I went back to get more. The garden view was a palm tree that partially blocked the parking lot. One window did not lock and had no screen so I used a hanger to keep it closed. There were no dresser drawers to put things away in. I reported the outside light out again before we left, but I'm not sure it was actually done. No manager was ever on site to speak to.
Clean. Boring decor - no frills. Ok for a nights stay - affordable.
The hotel was great. We booked it through KAYAK at a great rate for a room with a limited ocean view. When we arrived we were upgraded to a larger room with full oceanfront views at the same rate. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The staff is awesome , very friendly and professional.
Food options were too limited for children.
From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave they make you feel like royalty without any stuffiness. They go above and beyond even bringing our dog treats and realizing that my wife was pregnant brought us a cupcake with blue and pink frosting along with a bottle of non-alcoholic cider to our room. Herna at the front desk was a delight. Nothing
The hotel property is right on the beach, and the beach staff is friendly and accommodating, periodically bringing guests complimentary smoothies and frozen grapes and oranges. The pool area is lovely and well-kept, as are the dining rooms. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast buffet, though expensive, is delicious, ample and very fresh. For a hotel of this caliber there was some unevenness in the staff. On certain days at the beach, the staff was available and responsive; on others they were entirely absent, and it was difficult to get anyone's attention. The outside dining areas, though lovely, were crowded, and every morning we had to wait 10-15 mins to be seated outdoors. When we first arrived, no doubt because we booked a "bargain" room through Kayak ($500/night as opposed to the $1,000 rack rate on the Four Seasons website), we were given a room with a direct view of the beach bar kitchen, together with smells and noises from the vent. We asked that the room be changed, and it was, though again we were given one of their less desirable rooms. I suppose most unfortunate was that when we asked, on our last day, for a late checkout - even offering to pay something for the privilege - we were told, icily, that the hotel could not accommodate us - not even for an hour - because of our "room category" (meaning, no doubt, the "cheapie" Kayak rate). The hotel was quite clearly not full, and as an experienced traveler, I know this would have been an easy accommodation for the hotel to make. Instead I left with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
Very quite and relaxing place. Great ocean frond location with residential area(mid rise) residential surroundings. Attentive service in understated aesthetically pleasing surroundings. Beachfront bar/coffee shop a great place for lunch but very limited menu. Restaurant more than adequate but not outstanding. Hardly anything. You need a car to get around but you must use valet parking,at inflated rates, though the parking is on the sides of the hotel close and easily accessible.
staff was great, food was superb, place is really nice cost
Standard high quality four seasons service. nearly every employee asks how you are doing, is everything meeting your expectations, is there anything they can do to improve your stay, etc etc. One small mistake was made by a wait staff person (they forgot chicken on a salad) - it wasn't a big deal to us, but he acknowledged it, apologized profusely, had his manager come apologize, and they comped our meal which was very nice. very comfortable bed. - shower leaked onto the floor, sink faucet handle leaked water - aesthetic was rather drab at the hotel - didn't feel like 'palm beach' - no color, no pattern, no quirkiness or preppy style...faded olive umbrellas, exterior of building facing the beach looked run-down, pool was function-only (not much to look at) - location is good if you want beach-access but pretty far from the hedges and billionaires row that is quintessential PB - lots of kids in the pool. We were there in early January when school is out so this probably skewed the ratio but the first day we walked out to the pool it had lots of kids in it. We were hoping for something a bit more relaxing/serene as we were taking a vacation away from our own kids for a few days of R&R. - gym was in the basement...wish it had been with a nice view overall it could be great, but just needs a facelift in terms of design
Oceanfront property, very nice spa that allows all guests to use its facilities regardless of whether not you book their services the restaurant quality and choices are very limited
The room was very clean and modern. The free breakfast buffet was great, just get there before 8:30am because that's when the crowd starts to come in. Didn't have time to check out the rest of the facilities since we were only there for one night for a volleyball tournament. I would stay at this hotel again if I was in the area.
Very clean rooms, very friendly staff, free happy hour and great breakfast. Convenient to the airport with free shuttle. Very enjoyable stopover!
Breakfast / bed Mold in bathroom caulking room 504 / shower design poor and not fitted correctly with water spraying everywhere / trash on roof looking north
On top of many other noteworthy accommodations, the complimentary snack/drink reception and breakfast were superb! The location itself is not too ideal other than for transportation purposes, as it is right next to the airport and not far from the transit center.
The service was awesome. Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Victor (one of the chefs) makes a mean omelet! We would definitely stay there again.
I stayed at this hotel for the Sunfest festival held on the waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach. I loved that hotel offered free shuttle service to/from the festival at any time between 10 am and 12:20 pm. This meant we could come & go as we pleased without having to wait more than 10-15 for a shuttle. We also utilized the free shuttle service to Cityplace for a nice dinner out as well. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly & pleasant (front desk clerks, breakfast servers, shuttle drivers, and bartenders). Also, we liked the free happy hour from 5-7 each night and the amazing free breakfast. The breakfast wasn't your standard cereal, yogurt, toast breakfast either, but made-to-order omelets, pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit, etc. So to summarize, we got free shuttle service, free breakfast, and free drinks at happy hour, all while dealing with an enjoyable staff and a beautiful room. We'll be coming back next year for sure!
I loved everything about the hotel from the room to the staff to the complimentary food, drinks, etc The elevators were extremely slow and breakfast should atleast be extrnded to 11am
Christine at the Desk! She tried her very best to take care of us, and gets full marks for her help, demeanor and empathy. The same for Ed at the bar and breakfast... The hotel had roaches, the room had full instead of queen beds, the pool area was not nice and being worked on noisily, and the elevators were very slow.
I love Hawthorne Suites Air China caused me to miss my flight and cancelled my connector so I could not even stay here... I tried to cancel but it was to late and I wasted $100. Not Hawthornes fault but I wish I could have gotten some kind of refund.
Being close to the airport and not far from the beach was nice. The staff could have been more knowledgeable about surrounding area restaurants, directions, etc.
Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. It was a brief stay but it suited our needs very well.
Social hour included wine, snacks, and pasta, salad, and fruit for a quick dinner!
Nicely appointed and decorated, good included breakfast. However, constant noise from nearby highway and thin walls between rooms & floors.
The two rooms, with a TV in each room. The laundry room. I liked the lemonade and the breakfasts. Really would have liked only one bed in the bedroom, for more room. The towels were old and scratchy. The Happy Hour wasn't at all nice. Weird snacks, like beef stew and chocolate pudding.
It had nice friendly staff, a good breakfast, clean rooms. Separate bedroom from the kitchenette. The only thing was the noisy vents by our main floor room. Wasn't sure what it was the first few nights, thought there was road construction going on at night.
Service was good and rooms were comfortable Pool area was awkwardly placed and and breakfast could be held at least till 10
It was an awesome stay. The room was amazing and even had a kitchen. Great service
Location was good...room was sizable.. No bugs that I saw... Vanity and fridge... .price just a tad bit much..decoration was blah... Had some what of old mildew smell...
2nd time I have stayed staff is friendly, buffet was very good. Amenities microwave, stove refrigerator etc. Very clean quiet. N/A
Employees were terrific
Love this hotel. Staff are friendly go out there way to accommodate you snd and rooms are always clean
The toilet was broken she we checked in. Didn't have any hand towels in the room. We did not get a housekeeping service when we came back to the hotel on the second day. They just gave us a clean towels.
We arrived at the Ramada after flying all day, then driving for an hour to get our room at 2am, only to arrive and be told that they had sold our PREPAID GUARANTEED ROOM! Then to say that there are no rooms in the area because of the "Honda Classic". She went on to say that this is a normal operations for them. It doesn't matter if you prepaid for your room, they will sell it to someone who comes looking for a room. NEVER BOOK RAMADA.
The places around the Ramada Not a very comfortable stay
Was a very mediocre room for the price I paid. They made me sign a agreement not to smoke in the room or I will get charged, I agree (as I don't smoke). But I get to the room and there is a strong smoking smell. Front desk agrees this was a smoking floor before and they didnt clear out the smell. But it literally smelled like someone was smoking right next to me, so strong. I had to move rooms middle of the night as I couldnt stand the smell. The bathroom was in terrible condition too.
First was told someone had been checked in under my name previously, then was assigned to a dirty unmade room that obviously had been occupied but not cleaned. New room had bed bugs. Sheets itched. All of this for nearly $100 a night. I will never stay in a Ramada again and all it's associated hotels. I will probably never book a hotel through Kayak.
It's in a very very very good location the place has potionial . Staff is nice, elevators are fast What I didn't like ? Where do I start !! The place needs a renovation !! Smells in the rooms and stains everywhere, rouches also. The sink, toilet and shower were clogged up, asked to fix and was still the same. I had to go buy Draino for the shower drain. Thought it wasn't going to work but it did. The Wifi is iffy as it goes in and out of signal. Housekeeping is loud as they like to slam the doors when cleaning. I asked to change all the bed linens , never did !! The gym is not a gym . Parking will get full and you are forced to park on the opposite end where nobody can see your car, at lease put cameras around the building . Some rooms don't have a microwave and refrigerator so be careful of that. If you looking for breakfest here, you ain't going to find it . It's a 2 star hotel not 3 star. You get what you pay for. It's on the edge of being a motel.
after 8hour the Bath water Still there
Cheapest room available for that weekend. The manager and front desk were welcoming. Location is very conveniently close to the airport as well as shopping areas. My bathtub drain was slow. There was mild/mildew in the bathroom. The carpet was very dirty. The hotel needs a renovation in general.
We found cockroaches as soon as we entered the room, and had to change rooms!
Nothing The cleanliness, the air condition was going in and out, the television channels was bad, the hall way smelled of urine..etc,etc
The staff was very friendly and rooms were very nice. Even tho check out was at 11 I still got to check out later and no extra cost and the maids didn't rush me at all. I didn't like that the parking lot gets really full and I had the park far away from the entrance
The ability to walk to everything. Great staff
The food was excellent, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Because of the lobby remodeling it is not clear where to go to check in.
Location Popcorn ceilings. Feels like it needs an update
I loved the suite style room. It was very comfortable. I also loved the location. Within walking distance to all of downtown and the waterfront.
The room was comfortable and clean. I had the pool area to myself. They had a full and mini bar available 24/7 along with ready made and made to order food. It was in easy walking distance to City Place. They had a shuttle service to the beach or anywhere within 2 mile of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and we could get a late check out. The breakfast offered was pretty good except for the pancakes.
The breakfast is awesome. Gym was clean with good equipment, easy access to get to the hotel, just expect a parking fee, whuch all downtown has one. The bed was comfortable and the staff are very accommodating. Ervin checked me in and made my long day a great evening smile at the end. Check in and out was fast. Will Be back, THANK U HYATT! Pool was small but didnt mind, loved Hot tub.
Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Big breakfast spread. Unfriendly staff. Room was never made up despite multiple requests. Small bathroom. Indoor pool only.
It was clean and hotel was quiet Kind of dated room for the money.
excellent location close to convention center and City Center
The location was superb! You are close to the convention center, city place and if you wanted to go shopping Worth Avenue was close Our shower had pink mold init when we had our room cleaned our towels were not replenished.
Very personablessed staff and good amenities. The room was frigid (no thermostat control for guests)
Location was good for event at Kravitz, but makeover of this hotel scores poorly for comfort and safety. Because this is a downtown property, access to parking through garage was not easy to access. Blind corners and poor sineage made parking less than easy. Layout of the room made it difficult for two people to move around simultaneously. Functionality sacrificing for design didn't work real well for us. High ceilings and small footprint made it feel like you were in a tube - in the very small shower, in particular. Limited storage for clothes, poor air circulation - (hot on one side of decorative screen, cold on the other), inconsistent water temp in bathroom. Missed things like make-up mirror and bathrobes. Breakfast was barely edible. What kind of bird laid those eggs?
We had a great time at the hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had plenty to offer both on and off the property. I didn't like that breakfast began to be packed up while I was getting a few items. If breakfast is until a certain that time, it should be fully available until that time.
Location, staff were all great. Room smelled stale and a bit like smoke. Mattress was old and weak. And frame squeaked like a $10 frame.
Clean, nice room, great location! No pool. Week amenities. Less than friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was nothing but cold leftovers - good coffee tho. Nice bar, but bartender kept disappearing!
There was almost no street noise. The hotel has an unfortunate location, located just across the freeway from a sketchy neighborhood. The room was musty, small, and had a poor layout (tv at side of bed).
Extremely courteous and helpful every time I needed help from the staff ( for example when getting my room key reprogrammed every so often). The room keys have an incredible tendency to lose the programming whenever in a close proximity of your phone or any other magnetic type item. This was pretty annoying but quickly resolved at the desk.
The desk clerk that attended to us was Daniel. He responded in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. He was made for this position. He made the difference in our stay and I am honored to have met him.
I love the location of the room. I relieved a text prior to my arrival of what was important to me and o chose the quietness of the room. Well, it was perfect and very quiet. The size of the room was good. The bed was very uncomfortable.
Very nice hotel with excellent staff.
The beds were really soft and comfortable. Cable did not work what so ever. I called and asked for assistance, but was just told to change the channel. There was some red stuff on the floor. The pictures online look way more luxurious than what it really looks like . It had no refrigerator , I don't even remember if it had a microwave. Oh and apparently the location is "the nice part of the hood ." the Toilet was soak and wet for some reason. I did checked in online and requested a balcony that over looks the pool and I received a room that faces the trees and the hotel parking lot. The lobby and restaurant looks very nice, but the rooms need to look as good as the appearance and atmosphere of the lobby .
room was musty and dingy smelling, when I got home, my close still smelled like the room. and very high humidity. had asked for a preferred view and got a lower level room that looked at the parking lot. asked to switch to an interior room that had a sliding door opening to the courtyard but they said they were all booked up except one other exterior room on the first floor which that room also smelled. pretty sure the hotel wasn't booked bc each night the parking lot was half empty. staff was not very helpful. the bistro in the main lobby took forever to order food through as well. located right behind a topless strip club/steakhouse and the gas stating is very sketch as well
No real restaurant and no pool bar or service Could be so much better
Great hotel, conveniently located in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach, across the street from City Place. The service was excellent, the hotel was very clean and the outdoor pool and hot tub were really a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon. Nothing
Nice rooms furnished well. Good restaurant. Location was ideal for those who wish to shop at nearby city place. Parking is a big issue. Construction makes getting into hotel difficult no parking lot all in garage attached in hotel. Valet was 25 dollars. A little steep to move it 100 yards.
Nice and new hotel. Location can't be beat as you are right in the middle of west palm. Staff is really friendly. Overall I am usually a tough customer when it comes to reviews but I have nothing bad to say. 4.7 out of 5 stars!
Friendly Staff. Proximity to City Place. Distance to beach. Expensive parking. Should have self parking service.
A year ago my wife and I partied in our reception at the Tideline resort. The entire staff had catered to our needs and treated us with great care for our joyous event. So we returned to celebrate our anniversary privately and were surprised when we were treated so well without being the hotel bride & groom. the staff welcomed us with open arms and went above and beyond exemplary service to ensure a wonderful time! I highly recommend for those who have not experienced this unique 'boutique' ambiance to go out of the way to make sure that there's space in your busy calendar for a weekend retreat at the Tideline.
The location is sublime and affords both direct ocean access and pool. The staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive. I can't wait to go back.
clean and comfortable with a stylish edge paying 30$ to valet my rental car
I have stayed a quite a few hotels and this one was top notch. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Everyone employee I encountered during my stay was extremely friendly. The front desk staff gave me a free room upgrade to ocean view, and the room was amazing! There's a small balcony with two chairs on the balcony. The beds are clean and comfortable, and the bathroom is sleek and modern. I brought my dog with me, and pets can stay free at this hotel which was also a nice perk. The dinner at the hotel was excellent, and there is a complimentary wine hour with appetizers in the lobby everyday. If I'm ever visiting palm beach again, this will definitely be the hotel I stay at. Same complaint as most others- The hallway lighting is quite dark. You almost have to squint to see the room numbers. The bathroom lighting was quite dark as well. Kind of romantic but hard to see.
I have no serious complaints about the hotel. It was clean, staff was friendly, and the amenities were good. The free breakfast was pretty extensive. I found it a little expensive for not being a luxury hotel (but then again, West Palm tends to be pricey.) The pillows also looked really fluffy, but once I put my head on them, they flattened like pancakes! Woke up with a neck ache.
Staff was wonderful. Very helpful and courteous. Clean
Complimentary breakfasts and choc chip cookies gratis in lobby in PMs. Comfortable king bed, easy access to pool, breakfast, laundry, exercise rm. Free parking., convenient. Shuttle to downtown Location a bit far from restaurants for nights, shopping etc. Cold water in pool. Food selection at next door restaurant and mediocre quality.
the breakfast and later checkout was great, the room was very nice and very comfortable. They even had free cookies at checkin and they were delicious. I liked the entire experience.
Check out time is 11:00 and they push you to be out by then.
Room was clean. I was kept awake by music from a party until past 11:30 at night. I complained and was told that someone would call me the next day. No one did. I complained again and a manager did call me and said that they would credit my stay with one day. Couldn't get the water in the room to run cold. Pillows needed to be replaced because they squished down to nothing. They gave me a headache. Signage on the entrance to the building was almost non-existent. I lived in West Palm for many years and still had a time finding the entrance.
The hotel was in an excellent location in terms of attractions around the West Palm beach area. The staff in reception were exteremly helpful and friendly and the free shuttle bus to the local shopping district was an added bonus. The only negative we could find was the breakfast was poor and we didnt enjoy and didnt feel it was very good value for money.
The hotel was exceptionally quiet. Big rooms.
The location was perfect and the front desk staff went out of his way to help me find the place I needed to go.
The fact that Alfredo was so friendly and helpful and sufficient early morning ...When he saw the shuttle didn't arrive 07:02 he immediately took the phone and called the driver and the driver arrived at 07:10. The ladies that is cleaning are super friendly and sweet.Had a nice stay at the Hilton.
Friendly people at the front desk. Very quiet hotel. Clean, very nice room.
The common area decor was very pleasing. No bedside table, no directions as to where things were in the hotel upon arrival (like the elevator, which was down a hall) or that complimentary coffee was In the lobby every morning (Ie no coffee maker on the room), no info on Palm Beach in the room, dirty bathroom(my barefeet stuck to the floor) with no shampoo, someone else's hair in the drain, no morning paper, room next to outdoor seating for the restaurant so very noisy, music from function room until 1 am, loud air conditioner next to the bed so cold air blew on you all night.
Food and room and turndown service Excellent
I loved the charming unique decor and genuinely friendly kind staff. Location was wonderful!! The red robes were so pretty and unusual candy in the room a fun surprise
Hotel was close to airport and the shuttle was convenient I got food poisoning right before my cruise and it ruined my whole vacation!!!!!!!!! Don't eat the breakfast.
I liked how big it was the room
Staff is friendly The beds are woefully uncomfortable. I literally got no sleep. It does not live up to the holiday in standard I'm used too
Staff was excellent, location was great, rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast in room dining.
The hotel was easy to get to, had great shuttle service, but to pricey. I was expecting more for the price I paid.
Nice gym and great breakfast and coffee.
convinent, quiet and confortable One of two computers in business center does not work.
Nice decor with upscale lobby. Easy parking Breakfast was not included so we were a bit surprised when after breakfast lady asked us to pay $40 if I new this earlier I would pick a hotel that had breakfast included in the price.
There was a shuttle to City Place and to PBI. Faint smell of cigarette smoke and some road noise.
Great place to stay. We stayed for 8 days my 10 year old son loves everything about it. The pool was perfect and always clean. We LOVED the cookies... We will be staying here in the future. No free breakfast!!! I have stay at other places and they had at least bagels, coffee, cereal, the basics. Like I said I was there for 8days and wasn't expecting on buying breakfast for week. But this isn't a deal breaker just keep it in mind and plan for it..
Front desk was friendly. 3 different types of mold/mildew in the bathroom. Mismatched granite. Toothpaste splashes on wall. Poor condition overall.
The staff was overall very nice. Air conditioner as noisy.
Front desk staff professional, friendly and helpfull Beds were lumpy and could not adjust AC fan speed.
We received alot for the price. It was a great value. Location was very convenient too.
The service was excellent! The front desk staff greeted me with extreme friendliness upon entering and exiting the lobby! Great breakfast, and our room and the property in general seemed really clean and new. I'm actually not one to write reviews at all, but I was just really impressed with this hotel and thought they should know! Hope this helps people also find a good stay! I put it on par with Disney level service! Nothing, they were great! Great deal, great property, great service, and great breakfast!
The night we stayed at a comparable hotel and it was horrible. Ther wa construction going on. Low water pressure made washing my daughter could boy brush. The room was noisy an it smelled. The Springfield was none of those things. The room was lovely and smelled good. Goo water pressure and lots of hot water was available. The staff ere warm and made us feel welcome. We will return. No hot tub
The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was very good especially since it was free. Very good value! No pets also no smoking and very clean. The value for the large rooms and the walk in closet was a first in this price range. Very good location also. The work out room was sorry but very clean. Iron as usual was sorry and there could have been 2tvs
The rooms are wonderfully appointed with rich wood cabinets, comfortable furniture and beds that you could sleep in for weeks. The staff was very accommodating with all the hallmarks of a well run hotel. The food is creative and tasty. Try the White Cosmopolitan cocktail - it is delicious.
I love the room. The staff was very attentive. They room was nice and clean. The ambiance was quiet and nice I wanted to try the restaurant. The chef is Daniel Boloud, a well known chef. The food was OK, but not a memorable experience. The only thing I found extremely good were the Madeleines. Those were the best. The rest, was good, but only good. I was expecting much more.
The grounds are imaculate, loved breakfast in the courtyard. They mix a good Martini. Relaxing. A little variety in the Musak. I have heard" time after tme" more times than I can remember. A "resort" fee of $60 is not appropriate, there is no resort aside from a lovely wading pool. Concierge absent, (assume they have one). Front desk was not up to the task. Ground floor Room lacked a window to the outside world. A door led to a claustrophobic, one chair sized patio Enclosed by a ten foot wall that limited the view to looking up at the sky. Furniture was frayed, toilet ran, wheel fell off rolling desk chair. Bring you own mouth wash, "house' mouthwash is on the mini bar tray.
The staff was exceptional Booked the room 15 mins prior to arrival on Kayak, the reservation was not processed to the hotel in a timely manner, this made check in take much longer than normal
