Pleasant location, close to our business location
The hotel did not have a lift and the train station nearby was only a trem station and not an main station
very quiet and comfortable room, albeit no air conditioning, but it was cold so it didn't matter. Would definitely return.
Very nice hotel owned nowdays by Italian family. Clean, cosy, comfortable. Excellent view! Highly reccomened!
Extremely friendly staff makes you feel very welcome. Outstanding restaurant.
Breakfast very good.
Beautiful location adjacent to Grunvald castle. Lovely food but expensive. If you have difficulty with stairs, request a room on a low floor.
Professional staff. Helpful too. For example, showed me in person where the garage was and how to activate the lock. The shower leaked water all over the floor (flawed design) which I had to mop up with a towel.
Secure Parking, Excellent organic breakfast. Large room with good shower and comfortable bed.
For me the location was good, because I had business to do in that area. That was the only reason for choosing this hotel. Prices were up, I think, because of Oktoberfest. The hotel, with its wooden floors, is rather noisy. The bed quite uncomfortable. I could change to another room, but that one was very small, so I stayed in original room. No amenities, no regrigerator, all extremely spartan. Breakfast basic and this hotel is hugely overpriced. For a lower price, it would be okay.
Dining My room
very friendly staff and nice atmosphere It was during the oktoberfest and the prices were incredibly high, given the quality of the room
The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the hospitality, and the beauty of this traditional hotel, restaurant and gardens. We were initially given an attic room, during an unusual heat wave. As is the case in most of Germany, there was no air conditioning, and the room was intolerably hot. However, the owner was very understanding, and placed us in a room that was cooler. He was very helpful.
The room, the breakfast, the ambience Nothing in paricular
excellent breakfast clean quiet rooms
We stayed at Holiday Inn Munchen Unterhaching for 3 nights during the first weekend of Oktoberfest 2010. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. The location of the hotel is about a 10min walk from the station, and the station is about a 20min train ride from the city centre. The hotel was a bit far away to get to, especially as the train that services the area is very infrequent - it only comes every 15 to 20mins. The price for breakfast was also very expensive - 18 euros per person. Much cheaper to grab a bite to eat from the bakery across the street from the hotel!
The location and food. 1-The poor response and lasieness of staff. 2-The price of services provided by the hotel i.e internet services and food.
Th estff preformance and the quietinece of the area. The price of the internet service.
Awesome morning breakfast - exceptional friendly staff and very helpful - Great location away from Munich's City center but nearby train station for easy access to anywhere you want to go in the Munich area They charge us a lot more money for their third night stay that we hadn't planned on staying because of Oktoberfest
Please write at least 15 words the food
Very friendly & heplful staff. No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room.
good location and perfect staff and service... The hotel is not small but very comfortable. I think i will advice it to everyone is enough far from the center, but easy to reach using s-bahn
We really appreciated the kind and prompt service, and the wonderful breakfast.
idid injoi at holiday inn unterhaching vary good staf and qut location with larj rom but the ander grawnd barking is smol saiz
Great location, clean, well maintained rooms, nice breakfast There was an issue with a key card not working leading to a member of the party sleeping in reception and some confusion resulting in the party taking 13 rooms rather than the required 12 but I don't blame the staff entirely. They were much better at English than I am at German!
it has a convenient store down stair. they didn't have the room for us. we have to change room three times. the staff was not accomodating and there is no apology.
The location is a little far away the city centre, however in a quiet but safe distrcit. The tram station is within 10-minute-walk max.
The location was very convenient to me. Visited Campeon business park and this hotel was just 1 S-bahn stop from there, so there was good travel connection. The surroundings of the hotel is very nice and peaceful, and there is a rewe supermarket next to hotel building. Services in the hotel are in high standard.
Nice confortable rooms, free internet
Good clean room, wifi in the room. The staff was helpful with maps. Underground free parking for guests. Public transport into the city is easy but we used car instead. Its not actually in Munich, but a suburb city, but very close. 10 euro per person breakfast is expensive.
The room is spacious and clean. The decor is stylish. Free Wi-Fi. The location is convenient with a 5-minute walk to train station and another 20-minute train ride to city centre. A few stops to OST Bahn where you can connect S1 or S8 to the Airport. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A supermarket is just at your footstep.
Very efficient and functional. wlan was functional and fast. Free garage so no parking problems. Would definately go back.
Comfortable, Clean rooms, modern decor and facilities. Breakfast is expensive.
It is a modern hotel. Room and bathroom were clean. Nicely situated, not far from good and silent walking surroundings. In average the personnel was friendly and polite. I needed to be at Campeon, and this Hotel - one S-bahn stop away - is fairly situated for that purpose. There was no attention payed to visitors during breakfast. My room had a bit of a dangerous ceiling (diagonal through the room).
I liked the breakfast dining room and the breakfast menu was quite good. The atmosphere overall is very nice, warm, family friendly. It is quite isolated. It does not operate a restaurant (only breakfast) so you cant get a coffee or anything else during the day.
high standard Not English speaking
Clean rooms, and convienient location None
clean.nice area, away from the Octoberfest crowds. king beds were two singles not joined just pushed together.only 2 staff members were friendly.what was advertised on kayak was confusing at best had to pay more once we saw the single bed in the room.
Nice quiet area, 10 min walk from station which is only 15 mins on train from Ostbanhof. Brilliant breakfast and very friendly staff.
Staff very friendly, nicely decorated, very clean and excellent breakfast
Very clean and nice rooms. The wireless internet did not work and staff could not assist with the problem. They didn't seem to care that it didn't work. Additionally, we needed to catch a train early in the morning and although food was already set out for breakfast, we were not allowed to have any due to being outside of published breakfast hours. Rude and indifferent sums up the staff experience.
staff was very pleasant and helpful; best breakfast in our entire three weeks in Europe;very convenient to getting downtown Munich by public transportation.
Breakfast was extensive, anything you could imagine! Too far from S-Bahn with infrequent bus service. Front desk only open until 10 pm.
The hotel is well maintained, comfortable and very clean.
nice comfortable room, really friendly staff nothing was to much trouble, i would highly recommend
Pleasant ambiance with rustic architecture Booked 3 double bed rooms, not available on arrival
Very comfortable accommodation, friendly staff in a quiet location. Short walk to S Bahn station, 20 minute ride into city centre.
The setting and location were good. The staff - those who we met - were friendly. Breakfast was good. We were ideally suited for train travel in to Munich each morning. The journey was excellent and cheap. There were no bedside tables nor reading lights in our room. Just a table under the window. Water was cold on the first night, but corrected quickly. The staff (one woman) left during the early evening leaving us alone in the hotel which we felt was strange. This was a three star hotel and we expected more.
Most exellent hotel especially for adult couples, exellent service, peaceful, good position. everything was just perfect.
Nice hotel with traditions and quite placement.
Nice hotel, friendly staff.Breakfast was included and was very good.Next time I will stay again.
Excellent location in front of S bahn that brings you into Munich in 20 minutes and to the Starnberger See in 15 minutes. Very good price quality balance. S Bahn starts at 06.00 AM and if you are a light sleeper if might wake you up. It did not disturb us at all.
Biggest asset of this hotel is the nearby station of the S-train that takes you into the centre of München in about 15 minutes (Eur 4.80 one-way) while, at the same time, the hotel is located in the middle of wooded countryside. Best of both worlds.really.
Although I paid for included breakfast I should pay extra 10 € because the hotel staff was not able to find the reservation details (and I did not print them...)
Power plug availability in room poor. Extra fair for Wifi.
Very efficient breakfast service and check-in / check-out Sometimes slow service during evening meals, especially when there are large groups also present resulting in less attention given to solo guests
The hotel was a short walk to the train station. A very pleasant suburban town. The staff was not around at night. It was easy to hear people coming in late at night.
The price was good and the hotel staff was nice and well organized. The hotel is far from the city center. It takes 10 stations(~ 35 min.) to go from the nearby S-bahn station to Marien Platz(the city center)
Clean and quite.
Peaceful surroundings, 7 mins to metro stop, good breakfast, large room. Noise from neighboring rooms. No personnel available after 18h.
