Location, helpful staff
Mainly our room # 406 was too noisy, bathroom is super tiny, we were not able to sleep at all. Way too many stairs for someone with bad knees, barking dogs all night, parties going on next door during the 3 nights we were there. Breakfast is decent,

Would have liked an in-room mini-fridge; and having the restaurant/bar open for lunch, dinner. It is only used for breakfast.

This is a lovely hotel with a very friendly, kind and helpful staff that continually went above and beyond for us, answering questions, giving directions, simply making our days there very pleasant. The location could not be better, right in the heart of the historic center of Guanajuato and close to lots of great restaurants, bars, places of interest. The hotel building and rooms are charming, with a lovely terrace on the fourth level to relax from a busy day of sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again...I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Guanajuato.
