Cons: "Buying a ticket with connecting flight and having 2 diferent airlines combined can get wrong information to customers. I thought I had bought my ticket thru delta and turns out is was with aeromexico, delta has no weight limit on carry on luggage and aeromexico does, i received an email from delta airlines for me to check in so i look at their luggage policy on carry on and when i arrived at the airport i had to go to aeromexico counter to check in one luggage and turns out i also had to pay for my carry on luggage becouse it exceded aeromexico carry on weight policy which i didn’t fully agree but ended up paying anyways"

Pros: "The fact that I made it to my destination on time, Barely. The crew was professional but not too involved, mostly hung out in the back of the plane having personal conversations. Pilot was very dry, and I really didn’t feel welcome to be a passenger."
Cons: "The boarding process is ridiculous, rush everyone to a bus and just to sit on a plane for an hour?! That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen experienced during a flight. What were the flight attendants doing?? Nothing. Didn’t offer any water or a misery of a snack while we waited. The pilot didn’t tell us anything, like where we were in line for departure, or what the hold up was. Very poor flight experience. Cons: "I was told I HAD to pick up my bag at the Mexico City layover, which turned out to not be true. Because I was told by 2 different people AND the flight announcement that I had to, it caused a lot of undue stress when I waited for my bag and it never showed up, because it was being sent all the way to Merida, my final destination. I thought my bag was lost, and I was scared flying to another country by myself, so it would have really helped my trip if they understood to tell me to look on my baggage receipt what city it said on there."

Cons: "I believe Aero Mexico had four flights going from LAX to Mex City in the matter of two hours when we arrived so the line to check in was huge. Not a big deal until the staff began pulling people from the back of the line to check in for flights that left at the same time as ours, which put us on a time crunch to get to our gate on time. Once we arrived at the gate, there was no indication that our flight had been delayed and no announcement regarding its status. We simply had to wait and wait, then we finally took off an hour late. The staff on board the plane was less than helpful in getting our customs paperwork to us as well. Not a great experience."

Vueling staff in Rome lacked knowledge of whether or not our bags could be transferred properly to our BA connection and onto our home city. Our bags did not connect and arrived 2 days after we did. We love BA, but we will never again purchase a flight where Vueling is involved."

This time, after my travel mate already checked in and payed for two bags, when we brought the bags to the counter to drop off, we asked for future reference what the procedure was for AAdvantage card holders to get their first bag checked free. Her response was that she couldn't refund our money. I told her I wasn't asking for a refund and repeated my question - how to do it in the future, to which she responded that we should have come straight to the counter without checking in but all accounts are different and she had no idea what his was. To her credit, she did warm up after that, perhaps she heard how abrupt and unhelpful she was being but it was unfortunate to start yet another airport experience with coldness at American Airlines"

When I asked for options for an earlier flight into Rapid City so I didn’t have to wait 24 hours and miss my visit with my sister, he looked at different hubs (Chicago, Minneapolis) to see if they had any available flights into Rapid, he checked for double bookings, and when he couldn’t find anything, he put me on the standby list for the first flight out in the morning and wrote down the flight information for all of the United flights from Denver for the following day. Marlin provided excellent customer service and was a huge credit to the company."
Cons: "The flight was supposed to leave at 3:56 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 pm. I would estimate at least 15-20 people missed connecting flights because of the delay. According to the United app, the delay initially started in Portland due to mechanical issues, which took over 3 hours. Then, there was a weather delay in San Francisco according to the gate agent - there was a ground hold and no planes were landing or flying out. At some point, I would think another plane would have been an option rather than delaying a flight for this long and disrupting holiday travel for so many people."

I can only hope that someone out there is getting better treatment than the poor people I saw on this flight, or at any united desk I attempted to get help from."

Cons: "We missed the whole vacation due to United flt. 599 being late into SFO. We missed the Zurich flight by 7 minutes due to a mechanical issue (overhead bin lid would not stay closed.) United customer service was very poor and after 16 hrs. at SO without resolution on flights and schedule, we just came back home. If Siss Air could have waited 10 minutes for 12 or more passengers, we would have been fine. I don't know if United communicated with them or not. This was a disaster!"

Turns out we get to the airport and our original connecting flight was severely delayed and we would have made it on to that flight. So either way we were stuck with a loss."

Once I was seated a man in front of me had his hiking pack and two ukuleles in their cases, neither of which could fit under his seat. That's when I became frustrated. O This plane sucks: our knees were slammed into the seat in front of us because the chairs are so close together. No USB plugs. Plane was dirty, scuff marks on the wall and ceiling. There was paper in the pouch that looked like a mouse had chewed on it."

Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable."

When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."

Pros: "More important than the trip home last Wednesday was the reason for the trip. We attended my granddaughter's wedding. Everything else was secondary. Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."

This was our flight back. Originally on the way to our destination we had used Delta and that customer service experience was completely different even though that flight was full too. Never flying United again as long as I can avoid it."

They refused to let it slide and when we asked how much it would be if we left it they said it would cost us $100 for an oversized bag. We already paid the $25 so it makes no sense for it to cost $100 more. They were completely unreasonable and not helpful. Not to mention the flight was an hour late. Our flight on the way out was completely cancelled all together and no one bothered to tell either of us. Then they rerouted us on completely different flights! We had to basically throw a fit to get on the same flight, which ended up being 8 hours AFTER our original flight was supposed to leave. The entire experience was a disaster and I will never fly united again."

I was very sick and this flight was delayed so it was going to cause me to miss my connecting flight overseas. She tried all that she could to rebook me on a different flight but the problem was the destination's air traffic control, not the airplane, so it wasn't going to fix the problem. I was able to rebook my connecting flight, at a cost, but at least I wasn't going to miss it. Barb went and made me hot tea with fresh ginger, mint leaves, and honey for my throat. Through a difficult situation, she was a ray of sunshine and kindness."

We were in the last row where you can't even lean your seat back but the guy in front of me was just about in my lap the whole flight. Charging for in flight entertainment and meals also seems like the airlines care less for customer satisfaction than the money they can get from passangers. While boarding, we were stopped in first class because the flight attendant was in the aisle getting drinks for first class...Before all the passengers boarded. Also, why is every flight told they get one carry on plus a personal item when that isn't really the case? If the flight is full, apparently there is not enough room for each passanger to have a carry on so people who have delicate items packed in their carry ons have to surrender them and pray their precious vacation purchases aren't smashed when they get their luggage back. Quantity over quality."

She died a hour before I got there. And now I'm fighting with them for a refund."

Eventually United also increased our delay by 30 minute intervals until it was about 2 hours. Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever."

We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! Once on my rescheduled flight the attendant made several comments about the fact that I had a pillow with me. If you don't know someone situation then you should make any comments at all. I had just finished a 5 day drive across country and unfortunately the pillow needed to get home with me. Not a single employee was kind welcoming or helpful. I will never fly with this airline again. I will be letting EVERYONE I speak to know about this experience and I plan on writing reviews wherever I can find."

Overall, just a really poor experience and very hard to sleep."

Pros: "Nonstop San Francisco to Guadalajara"
Cons: "Negative legroom, some rows were full others empty, cabin crew couldn't care less about passengers, never even offered me a beverage or food (even though I would have refused due to excessive fees for everything!), most announcements were in Spanish even though the flight originated in San Francisco. The worst part was the seating being so tight I could not put my knees in front of me and I had to endure the entire flight in pain. I would never have been able to get out in an emergency because my legs were twisted like pretzels and they were in cramps with circulation cut off. Why is there no law against passenger abuse like this? Why should I pay extra just to be comfortable for a few hours? I'm 6'4" and not that giant but these seats were sized for children. Cabin crew never tried to reseat me in one of the numerous empty rows yet they allowed others to sleep across the empty rows. They saw how unsettled I was yet ignored me. Why don't they distribute passengers evenly instead of filling some rows and leaving some empty? They charged me $50 to carry on my bag saying "We're not allowed to have carry on bags." Unless I paid $50 and then carry on bags are fine. Checked bags were $30 but with expensive electronics in my bag I was not going to risk it to the baggage handling crew with their knack for destroying bags every day. I will never fly Volaris again, no matter how inexpensive they are."
