Beds were clean. There was a mini fridge and microwave. Great for a cheap getaway with friends
Across from the beach and cheap. At least there was no carpet.
incredibly dirty. Mystery stains on couch, dirty floors, questionable floors and bathroom. The elevator made disturbing noises passing the 2nd floor. Good place if you are wasted drunk. Breakfast was a joke.
The lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful
Upon entering the room we were greeted with an unbearable stench. The room felt damp and cold. We adjusted the heating/cooling unit for warmer air and a strong smell of urine blew into my face as well as escaping roaches coming from the vents. I took pictures of the bugs and immediately went down stairs to notify staff and requested to be moved to another room. Granted, I am there with my 2 children, I proceed to another room and a party was going on amongst guests on the balcony. I went in to check the room and as I checked the tub and water, clumpy brown liquid spewed from the faucet. Within one hour of checking in, we checked out and searched for another place to stay. this is a very unclean place and not safe for children. The hotel needs to be inspected.
The price, and the location.
My wife asked a maid for extra towels and was denied. This was in the week before Labor Day and there was very few guests. I think that single incident brought the over all score down.
Good location. Short walk from the beach, food and other happenings. Staff was polite and helpful. If you are looking for a cheap room and do not plan to spend much time in it - this is a good hotel. You get what you pay for and prices are fair.
We were on ground floor. Had curtains pulled due to the amount of people walking past at all times of the day. With curtains pulled and extremely dark walls, it kind of felt like a dungeon. Room felt a little damp. Breakfast was not impressive at all. Also had standing water in our room upon arrival due to our leaking refrigerator.
Laid back feel, nice room. Cool pool. Great location, short walk to the beach. Food is within walking distance, the hangout is about a 1/2 mile, so you can walk.
The pull out couch didn't have sheets. The restaurant/bar wasn't open. Breakfast wasn't all that great, but totally fine for a quick bite.
This is one of the worst hotels I have ever been too. We booked in advance and they didn't even reserve the correct room for us nor let us no until we got to the room. The staff was EXTREMELY rude and told us we can just go somewhere else. There was nothing good about this hotel. I will never stay there again nor recommend this place to anyone. The rudest unaccommodating people I have ever dealt with and the place was a dump.
They clean the rooms well, the staff is really nice, the bar & grill is awesome and some rooms have a beach view
No "do not disturb" sign, bed was a little uncomfortable
Close to the beach
-Front desk had face piercings and was "sup bro" casual. -Room wasn't clean. Sheets felt damp. -Bathroom plumbing all exposed and rust stains on things. -Over $225 a night. -"Continential breakfast included week old biscuits and dry eggs. The pretty girls workong there couldn't be bothered to get more juice or clean anything. -Can't see the beachfrom the hotel. -Smoking mandatory.
Pool was ok, breakfast sucked, expensive for an older hotel, not a lobby anyone would hang out in, no HD tv, wireless network didn't reach 3rd floor so we used all our data
My father and i traveled to gulfshores for a quick fishing trip. We did not book a room too far in advance, therefore our selection was limitted. The rooms at this hotel are very basic. They are very well worn. The furniture is old. The bathtub had two patches in the bottom. The mattresses seem to have been updated lately and were comfortable. The room was ok for a fishing trip with the guys, but i would not take my family.
Proximity to beach and air conditioning
Exterior dirty, beds hard, woke up to roaches in bedroom each morning, chair set fell off and hurt my toe really bad and management simply said they would replace chair...it happened Monday and I was told management would be there Wednesday, my last day. I wonder why it wasn't already removed as I find it hard to believe no-one knew it was broken as I simply pulled it out to sit and it fell.breakfast was same unhealthiness goop every day, no fruit or variety.
-The closeness to the beach. -if you're just sleeping there I guess it's not that bad. -view was nice.
-staff was young, and not very friendly. -bath tubs needed to be bleached!! -complimentary breakfast--GROSS! I'm from louisiana, and I never thought biscuits and gravy could be messed up! We went to the awful waffle!! -for what I paid, I should have spent a little more to get a cleaner room.
Had a 4th floor room with view of the beach. Ate a burger at night that was truly awesome.
Location was awesome
Cleaning was not timely.
Close to beach. Good value for money.
Location was great, had plenty of parking.
Breakfast was terrible, but it was free so hard to complain too much
the whole experience
