Very welcoming, very helpful and efficiently run.
Very good location for visits to Vienna. Beautiful village within the vintage area.
The service was excellent. The staff was absolutly lovely.
Staff was extremely helpful. Ac was a blessing in a 2,000 year old town. Breakfast was beautiful every morning. Rooms were spacious and clean as were the bathrooms. Everything an American would want in a hotel. Location could not be beat anywhere ine the Vienna Woods area of Lower Austria. Twenty minutes to Vienna. Would go back again and again. Thank you Hotel Turmhof.
Great location - close to Vienna - and in a lovely town with vineyards. Very helpful staff.
It's very relaxing and away from the busy city centre as well as next to lots of wine yards, which is a major plus! The hotel staff is very polite and friendly as well. I will come back here again! None whatsoever.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, who took wonderful care of us and our dog. Excellent breakfast. Great location right next to the vineyards and a (national) park, with marked walking trails. Several cosy restaurants nearby serving homemade meals.
Hotel staff were great. Breakfast was good. Pride of owner in making sure everyone was well cared for, went out his way for us. none
Very attentive personal. Quietly place. Good bed and pleasant breakfast. Very convitient that they have a tonnel to a spa.
The wonderful friendly atmosphare and attention I received from staff as well as the owner himself! The flair of being put back in time! The views into the park. The favourable location! The access to the Roman baths. Just everything! Just a little noisy at times, as every sound re-bounces on the tiled floor. The music, specially at night time when coming home, was too loud, it really should be more soft in my opinion. But the choice of music was very good!
For Baden, the location is excellent: extremely quiet location with beautiful gardens all around yet minutes to everything. A perfect oasis. The building itself is grand: the pictures are exactly as it is. The attentiveness of the staff to our questions was superb. For English-speaking travellers, this is a bonus. We highly recommend Villa Gutenbrunn, especially to mature travellers wanting a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of European cities or those who like to combine hiking with sightseeing. A wide range of walks, short and long, can be accessed directly from the hotel. This is truly a unique hotel in a beautiful place. Our room in particular (room 221) was extremely gracious. As Australians, we would have liked tea and coffee making facitlies in the room.
Hotel facilities very far from those required for a 4 star hotel. No refrigerator in the room, no air conditioning, no luggage ramp. Used carpet an furniture, poor breakfast, difficult internet connection, useless staff. Much too expensive. Definitely not stay here again.
Big , shiny room, very elegant breakfast, accompanied by soft music. The hotel is connected to a spa and we received towels and shower robes from the reception. Behind the hotel, there are beautiful path through the woods, for those interested in biking
overall relaxed ambience and sense of space and local history, very pleasant breakfast, and ready access to the spa facilities next door ( however see comments in next section) noting that the hotel is physically connected to the spa next door, and the cost of the hotel, suggest that 'complimentary' access ( say, once per day per person) to the spa facilties be included in the tariff
Services The smell of the pillows and bed lingeries is terrible. Change the pillows.
The spa! It was a new facility and just lovely. The staff were great. The grounds were pretty and adjacent to a fabulous rose garden. The rooms were not as clean as I want. The bath had a shower but was not really designed for one and water sprayed everywhere. The rooms looked as though they had been well used since they were renovated. Most guests and staff smoked a lot so it was hard to get away from cigarette smoke, although our room thankfully was a non-smoking room.
the location room was very small and not like the photp displayed
Great pampering hotel, most facilities free, beautiful location including gardens, amazing breakfast. Large room with bath and shower and french doors opening onto balcony with chairs.Close to town with good local restaurants. Mineral baths in town good and open late. Restaurant menu in the evening was unappetising to us so we went into town. We noticed the restaurant was almost empty and it was expensive.
The wonderful park insidwe position. Absence of diet and child's menu. The restaurannt is in general inadequatly expensive.
Very nice Chateaux, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice clean rooms The possitive comments are far more important than this downsides, but maybe they can wrk at these remarks. To little parking place. During our stay there was a storm and many shutters were slaming whole night long. Something the staff could check in the future.
The staff were amazing - friendly, efficient, helpful. The spa services (while expensive) were so luxurious that we still felt value for money, And the food was fantastic!
very polite and helpful staff at the hotel, excellent spa area, substantial breakfast No,
The location of the hotel is perfect - there is a huge park with a rosarium just in front of it, the interior of the hotel and the rooms is excellent, the staff is extremely helpful and the spa is wonderful and empty! The bathrooms could be bigger (in the superior room it is rather small), bit this is not something the hotel can actually change; the breakfast could include fresh juices
The staff was really nice. Even though Christina messed up our booking, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and gave us un upgrade (a suite instead ob a superior room). Breakfast was great. The hotel location is very good - close to the center of Baden, but still far away enough to be able to escape. The rosarium and Doblhoffpark are very pretty. The person who confirmed our reservation. She confirmed that we would have a room in the old building with a balcony. Upon arrival, we were told that Christina should have known better... there was no such room available due to a wedding. After we told the nice receptioninst that this was our wedding anniversary weekend and we specifically booked the 'old' room, she made a couple of calls and gave us a suite - in the new building. The plus is that the new building is air conditioned and was very quiet.
basic, 10 minutes to airport with shuttle that costs extra.
Buffet Difficulty of check in.
Comfortable bed, shuttle worked well and was convenient. There are no phones in the rooms, and the phones available in the lobby only accept cash - it is not possible to use a phone card to pay for a local or international call. This is not appropriate for business travelers. My towel (only 1 in room - no hand towel) was dirty.
The convenience and shuttle to vienna airport have been quick and efficient. Rooms I have stayed in have been perfect for my needs. The short walk to Fishcamen town is safe and short. All aspects of this hotel are perfect for my needs, requirements.
A place to sleep over night before your early morning flight from Vienna be aware Airport. Shuttle (3km/15min) will cost you additional 10 € (2people). Room is ok, not wow!!! Nor bad. The lobby is nice, good friendly stuff, accommodating services. I would stay again, this place does exactly what is suppose to do, staying comfortably over night before your early flight "cheep" compare to other hotels in the area. Room temperature - worm (in November), good shower head with good pressure, towels nice - white - clean, instead of bar sop liquid sop in dispenser next to the shower. tv about 20 channels, one in English rest of them in German. Alarm clock provided, but had to connect to power outlet and figure out how to adjust. Being charged 10.00 € for a ride to the airport. Why not to provide it free of charge and only for a tip to the driver? It is only 3km!!!
The staff was nice The shower curtain smelled of mold, it's very threadbare, the bed was saggy and uncomfortable
Shuttle to airport No Air Conditioning
Close to Airport Price far too high for the quality and service offered>
The room had been used by a smoker. The hotel staff should enforce a better non smoking policies. The breakfast in the hotel is wonderful. Don't miss!
the reception staff was very friendly, also i find it positive that the room price doesnt get higher even if you book for the same day.
Close to Airport
The shuttle service was very convenient to and from the airport.staff was nice.breakfast was great! The rooms were too hot. I would recommend air conditioning, we stayed in summer. Hot!!
The location across the wonderful Kurpark and only blocks from the City Centre. Very pleasant staff and good selections at the breakfast buffet. some technical problems..small...need service.
God breakfast buffé and beautiful suroundings. Very good for a relaxing weekend Maybe they should have earplugs in the bathroom because it was party at the Casino next door every evening...you did hear the music but it was ok
We had the opportunity to spend 2 overnights in this hotel within a span of 10 days due to our flights departing from Vienna at mid-day. Proximity to the airport and the shuttle service offered by the hotel (at 10 Euros each way) are the best features of this hotel along with clean rooms and decently sized room. During our first visit, the hotel staff weren't really interested in assisting us. Upon finding it difficult to open the door to our room (door panel / lock was jammed) - there wasn't anyone available at the lobby for over 20 minutes
The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the airport by car and offers travellers decent accomodation if they want to spend the night in Vienna. We found the prices for beverages in the minibar to be very reasonable. The hotel also offers an Airport shuttle transfer service at 10 Euros each way. At times the staff appear rather cold and non-cooperative. When asked for directions to the city centre using the S-bahn and the metro - it wasn't mentioned to us that trains on these lines were infrequent.
cleanliness, television Tour packages for the city should be there from the hotel
Very good location near Vienna Airport (5-10 min.), free shuttle bus to the airport, which is very convenient. Rooms basic, but clean and comfortable for short stay. Adequate breakfast. Cosmetic amenities very limited and basic (only shampoo and body soap)
it's very close to Viena airport
Welcoming and clean
Very close to the airport, breakfast bar opened at 5 am - very convenient for early morning flight. Heating was not working, so I was given electric heater instead - not ideal but adequate under circumstances.
The room was clean, and the proximity to the airport was good
Rapid airport pick up service for 10 euros / although close to the airport it is very quiet Wifi signal too weak in my room (third floor) / No tea maker in the room, must go to the bar to take medecie
Very friendly and helpful people!! Well organized!
everythink, especially the staff
I was in the hotel for only one night. I came late, 8PM and left tomorrow morning 9AM. Although I was in the hotel for a very short time I was impressed with the warm hospitality, excellent service and very nice accommodation. After my very exhausting trip on that day, arriving in a hotel Beethoven was exactly what I needed. Hotel is located in a quiet area with residential private houses, there are practically not at all traffic and therefore it was very nice choice for me to rest and prepare for the next day. Friendly personal, fluently speaking English, big room, clean, nice furniture, clean and big bathroom, nice breakfast. I will for sure come again and next time I’ll plan to stay few nights more.
The Hotel is situated in a pretty village close to Vienna. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The room was clean and modern with free and reliable internet access.
the hotel has nice rooms and is situated in a quiet aerea
Nice hotel although clearly a small village hotel. Extremely nice staff. In general a nice friendly small village hotel with good facilities and the skill to make you immediately feel welcome. Main less positive points to mention was the small problems by the reception not being able to communicate fully in English (but together we managed without problems). Other thing is the absence of air conditioning. Also, being as small, village there is not much to do or to discover. At the same time train station with direct short connection to Vienna (and free parking at the back of station in new parking garage) is nearby in Mödling.
Excellent hotel. The location is great (near Wien , near SCS - Shopping Center Sud, Seegrotte ..etc) .The personal is also at the highest level.
Nice little hotel in a little village nearby vienna. Pretty landscape, good breakfast. Perfect for citytrips when you don´t want to stay in the middle.
The staff speaks good English, is warm & hospitable. The rooms are nice, the parking was free and no problem at all. The location is not too far from the airport and not too far from the city, so works well for both directions. The sauna is OK, the jacuzzi is good (more than OK). The breakfast is rather limited, while all the produce was high quality I found it lacking in choice I'm accustomed to. The Turkish bath next to sauna doesn't get hot enough & therefore is useless. The gym where you can go is about 10 minutes driving from the hotel, for me that was too much -- if you plan to stay, plan ahead on the distance.
The personal was very nice and the facilities are OK The acces to the facilities was not easy ( you must notice the personal to acces the facilities ) and it was a little bit cold in the room .
I slept really well . great bed in a quiet room just a stroll from Perchtoldsdorf center Parking a bit difficult to find not a real problem
The staff was great and the rooms where comfortable. Very close to Vienna and Vineyards. No air conditioning. Probably not and issue except in August.
