Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful! This hotel was clean and comfortable! We highly recommend.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly And went out of his way to help us. We could even use the stove in his own house when the stove in the guestkitchen wasn't working. He even got out little one something extra foto breakfast when hè Saw that she was very picky.
Cons: The hotel is not in the hanok part, but in 10 minutes walking your there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the location - really close to cafes and 24-hour shops as well as to the main street with all the restaurants. The room was really big and comfy and the shower really clean and spacious.
Cons: One tiny thing: in the night there's a noise probably coming from the laundry machine for the hotel or from a closeby shop. It was a bit distracting and interrupted our sleep but that lasted only a couple of hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern decoration and new facilities. Really like the spacious room and comfy bed. The breakfast was simple but has everything we need, especially sliced orange and bananas. The location is also convenient for taking buses to the sights, with a 20min walk to cheomseongdae area. Convenient stores are just around the corner. The owner is very helpful and friendly. He called a taxi and helped carry our luggage. Thank you Maison for making our stay!
Cons: The WiFi was a little weak at night probably cuz a lot of ppl using it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic host who was always on hand. Clean shared kitchen area where a small breakfast selection is served. Very clean everywhere in the hotel. Umbrellas available to borrow, which we found very useful! There is a computer you can use in the lobby for checking flights etc. Lots of bus stops on the main road that go almost anywhere you want to go!
Cons: The Wifi was unreliable and kept dropping out. The breakfast selection could have been larger.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and helpful host. Great recommendations on sights in the area. Convenient car parking. Good location and breakfast options. Much appreciated!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very near to all bus terminals.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The area was quiet enough even though lots of hotels
Cons: wifi was a little iffy, not always working. Breakfast would get boring if you stayed too long.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, friendly staff, pretty nice place.
Cons: Lighting etc in rooms, but was fine as we only spent one night here
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Basic breakfast with toast, jam, butter, milk and juice. It would be better if there're fruit and cereal.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Perfect location within walking distance from the center of Gyeongju (10 mins), a small train station (1 minute) and a bus stop with all the main busses that story (1 minute). - Very clean hostel with all the comforts: every bed has a curtain for more privacy, plug, light, little folding table; in the toilets there are some amenities and the showers are spacious! - Nice breakfast with coffee/tea, orange juice, toasted bread and... cereals! (I didn't have any in the other hostels I stayed in Korea). - SHARON, the girl who works there, is very passionate about her job and the city! She passionately and accurately gives you any travel info (directions, busses/trains, sights) and ensures you understand them! She is really full of resources! ^^ - I spent in the Blueboat Hostel Gyeongju 5 nights, and I was sad to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! It's close to Gyeongju station and the Bus terminal, it's clean and there is even a little breakfast buffet :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is very well located, close to the historical area. The room, the restroom and the common space are clean, modern and well-equipped. The hostel was quiet after 10PM and the mattress rather good, I slept very well compared with the backpackers' hostels I went just before. The breakfast was really good and well-stocked. And special thanks to the owner, for her kindness and availability. Thank you for your advices Sharon!
Cons: Breakfast maybe a little late (start at 8PM)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The manager was vers nice and helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sharon our host was fantastic! She has loads of knowledge of the local area and would suggest where to go each day we were here. She genuinely cared for her guests and was very interested in all our stories and background. She organised a fantastic dinner out and then we did a night tour of the bridge at night and then went for some beers after! The guesthouse was very inviting and great to meet other like-minded travellers.
Cons: Nothing - the place was great, beds were comfortable! Showers could be better in terms of water pressure and kept on fluctuating between hot and cold but not a big problem!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Before we arrived our host was in communication to ask what time we expected to arrive. He provided excellent directions and when our taxi arrived he was there to open the door and show us to his home! Perfect location for seeing the sights of Gyeongju! The house is a bus ride or short taxi from the train or bus station. Then we could walk to all the nearby sights with the helpful information provided by our host! The property was extremely clean and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. The hosts were always around to answer our questions and they made us feel comfortable in their home: a welcome change from other hostels that we had stayed in. Both mornings we were brought breakfast to our room and we were able to eat on the lovely roof terrace overlooking the nearby museum. I travelled as a pair but I would feel extremely safe staying here on my own. I couldn't recommend this home more, it was just fantastic! If you want to feel relaxed, sleep well and looked after then this is the stay for you!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Totally good services as we expected. The breakfast will be given to you for free even they declare there's no that services. And you will experience some positive points of the korean traditional house, specially in sleeping. The scent from log which is main materials of this house makes you calm and peaceful.
Cons: The room we took is only private area. It means that the other spaces are for public. So, you should be noted whatever you want to do such as talking will be restricted.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. We appreciate the great hospitality of the owners.
Cons: A towel rack or hook available for hanging clothes and towel inside the bathroom could be better. Apart from this, everything is great and well taken care of. Thank you.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect for exploring the main sights in town. The room was great - included everything you’d need. Breakfast was good, and appreciated since there are not any places to eat in the old district.
Cons: The host gave lots of helpful tips and was very well intentioned, he was too engaged and intrusive throughout our stay. This included waking up guests unnecessarily and popping into personal spaces. Additionally, there was no lock on the room or the main gate, leaving some concerns about security of our property. No shower towels were provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stay was perfect. We fell in love with the room and even more with its owner. He helped us in everything we need since we arrived until our departure.
Cons: Nothing. Was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and an amazing experience of being in a Korean house. The only hostel with breakfest and private bathroom.
Cons: If you want privacy, this is not the place. The walls are paper and the owners are very helpful but very invasive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and kind host who gave us many tips on what to do and how to do it in Gyeongju. Exceptionally clean home with a private bathroom for each room. Although breakfast isn't technically included, we were given a lovely breakfast each morning (egg, fruit coffee, gimbap/muffin) which was more than enough.
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great host. Great hanok!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A lovely place to stay. The room was beautiful. Very warm welcome from the owners and lots of good advice on places to visit.
Cons: The mattress was a little hard.

With a stay at Trip to Gyeongju in Gyeongju, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bomun Lake and Blue One Water Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable guesthouse and room. It was great to stay in a traditional type of Korean guesthouse. The owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely. Very centrally located, in an old, traditional part of the city.
Cons: Nothing, I had an excellent stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice room Perfectly situated to visit Gyeongju easily Extremely clean, the bathroom actually looked brand new
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location near main tourist street with shops and restaurants. Convenience store 3 minutes walk. Supermarket and bank with global ATM 10 minutes walk. Bus termini 15 minutes walk. Local buses to sights 10 minutes walk. Historic tumuli close by. Owner speaks reasonable English and provides useful information. Functional room with good sized fridge. Room 103 had two large windows which was much brighter than fist room we stayed in which only had one.
Cons: No sheets on bed just mat and duvee. Clean enough but would prefer cotton sheets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, good located, close to bus stops which would bring you all around the area. Quiet, we got a room on the ground floor thus the view wasn't the best but we didn't mind this at all. The owner is totally helpfull, friendly and very welcoming! He knows the city by heart, ask him whenever you might need something, he has all answers or will find it out for you! **Thank you for all your help and for the cosy and nice stay provided!
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was made every day and there was plenty of nice shower gel and shampoo. Owner is happy to provide ideas of what to do and where to go, all pretty standard stuff that the local tourist info map will tell you, no hidden gems or suggestions. Under floor heating was really good, room was spacious but basic, no idea where the a/c remote had disappeared.
Cons: There is construction in the general area as families and businesses expand their properties, we were woken up one morning to the sound of construction at 8 am. The owner is stretched, he has opened another bed and breakfast and doesn’t have (any) enough staff. We arrived early to check in (too early) but that gave us a good few hours to explore local Gyeongju, we came back when the owner said to only to be sent away again as he hadn’t cleaned the room yet. We finally got to the room after 4pm. Not even a mention of a breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was extremely nice, he spoke very good English and was immensely helpful in showing us the attractions in Gyeongju. I cannot thank him enough for taking time to show us and even plan part of our trip. The room was very comfy, 3 is a squeeze but 2 is spacious. It was also very affordable and the location is extremely good. It is about 8-10 mins walk to the coach station and 3-5 mins to nearest 7-eleven. It is also dead centre of the food places and I highly recommend getting the traditional dishes (with a lot of side dishes) while you are there. Sorry I couldn't say goodbye on the last day as we left quite early, all the best!
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location to the monuments. Peaceful and relaxing house. Great room!!!!
Cons: We had problems with breakfast. Ok, we did not reserve breakfast until 2 days before going to the guesthouse, but no one said that it would be a problem. Look, the price was 5000 wons but the owner told us that 5000 wons was the price for 6 months ago... The breakfast price at the moment was 10000 wons... OMG!!! 5000 wons more in 6 months????? 10000 wons for breakfast???? Finally we had no breakfast because the owner decided for us, "I am not going to give you breakfast, girls, we are not going to discuss if 5000 wons, if 10000, if 7000." So... That's It!!! Buy your food and go!!!! These are no manners, and we were very angry, so, if you want breakfast, be sure about the price and reserve it inmediatly!!!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Coffee and Tea provided Table and chairs in the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location.the beautiful craftsmanship of the room
Cons: No sheets or pillow case. It was like a light sleeping bag was on top of a comfortable mattress
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Trip to Gyeongju was a well located option to visit the many amazing sights of Gyeongju. We really loved our room and the staff really helped us to plan out our visit to make the most of our limited time. We had a western style main bed and our children slept on Korean style futons on the floor. There was plenty of room for all five of us, including a western style dining table and chairs.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice private bathrooms.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean, organized and beautiful. Loved it.
Cons: Internet was I guess so slow that I could not use it at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hostess offered us free food provided by her for breakfast (toast, jam, orange juice, coffee and ramen noodles). So we had an enjoyable breakfast in the garden every morning. The hanok is located perfectly for tourist who want to discover the city without a car. We visited bulguksa temple and sokkoram grotto with the local busses. The tourist sites in town are in walking distance.
Cons: Our taxi driver had difficulties finding the hanok with the provided text vom Hanok Raon. After we showed him the address in Korean letters he used his navigation system. So better print out the address in Korean letters too. You can find it on the booking.com reservation reciept.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpfulness of owner. Good location, very clean.
Cons: Wifi was not working properly, we had our own wifi egg so for us it wasn't a problem
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and helpful staff, beautiful garden and great location next to lots of restaurants and bars. The bed is a traditional Hanok futon on the floor but fine! Very clean and a fantastic place to stay. Thank you!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location to go turist location. Good for family with kids.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They supplied breakfast which was nice! And the location is the most amazing part - so close to everything we wanted to see! All in walking distance which was great. The host was amazing and helped us call a taxi to get to the train station and stayed with us until we left - she went above and beyond and was so helpful!
Cons: Other than the futon being so thin (but that’s what we were expecting)- there was nothing to dislike!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything. The location is perfect, toilet was clean, Korean Style beds were super comfy, Wifi works fast and property owner was so nice and helpful. On top, the house is very scenary and rustic. The thing that i enjoyed the most is the breakfast. we cooked by ourselves (they even had some ingredients in the fridge!), and had it enjoying the view outside. one of memorable moments of this trip!! Totally worth the cost. Highly recommend to people who would like to experience traditional Korean house.
Cons: Well nothing really but water pressure of the shower and the position of the shower head could be improved. And TV in/out often.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was incredibly kind and gracious. She could not have been friendlier or more helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location is wonderful and the place itself is a lovely little gem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lady running the place is very sweet. She also allowed us to store luggage before and after check out if needed. The room was small but cosy and plenty of sleeping space. The bathroom is a nice size too.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless.
Cons: Nothing. I was satisfied with every aspect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The couple who run this pension are wonderful. The property is located in a section of Gyeongju that is quiet and tucked up against a national park. Convenient taxi ride (~$24 USD) away from Seokkuram grotto, a UNESCO heritage site and amazing example of Buddhist art.
Cons: If you are relying primarily on public transportation and taxis to get around you might want to reconsider. As a US resident I am comfortable with spending for taxi but some visitors may find they will need to set aside more for transportation than they had anticipated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The family running the business are so kind and thoughtful, the facilities are built with such nice architecture and attention to detail!
Cons: Slightly out of town
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Small shop for basic food and drinks. Cosy apartment in quiet setting away from the city. Spacious room with separate kitchen and bathroom. Close to Bulguksa.
Cons: No water boiler and limited set of pots and cutlery.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was simple and easy and the hosts were accomodating to our extra requests.
Cons: My tall brother and i shared one bed so I know I'm being super picky but the bed was a tad small length wise. Everything else was perfect and more than made up for it though.

Pros: Mr Kim (owner) is a great host and shared with us many things. Very glad to meet him. We had korean BBQ at the balcony which is a bonus!
Cons: Floor heating sometimes a bit hot but you can overcome it by opening the doors
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly clean and dustless, cosy interiors, comfy beddings. The stay was truly enjoyable and relaxing. The host, Mr Kim and his family made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Above all, I liked clean bedding and feel the comfort of my house, and the mini cafe was also beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host family was super kind and friendly. They are always in the property and helped us whenever we need their help. The room and other facilities are all very clean. Tiamo is very close to UNESCO world heritage Seokguram and Bulguksa temple.
Cons: I liked everything! one small thing is the road to get here is very narrow and curvy. Slow down to drive!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is excellent. Mr Kim is such a helpful and friendly host. He picked us up from the bus stop when we arrived and dropped us off at the train station when we left. We had 10 people traveling together and had BBQ night at the property. Mr Kim drove us to the supermarket to buy food and drinks. He even offered us a ride to bus terminal to pick up my stuff I left on the bus. This is definitely the best property in Gyeongju. I find it better than hotels because of the personal touch. We really enjoyed our stay at Tiamo Pension. Mr Kim offered a lot of help for us to get around Gyeongju and also transportation arrangements for our next destination.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location because it was close to Bulguksa. My kids loved their pool and the slide that was attached to the swimming pool. Mr. Kim gave us great suggestions and it was just a comfortable little place. :) It is about 10 to 15 min away from Bomun, and about 15 to 20 min away from the national museum. We enjoyed the stay!
Cons: Pillows!! They were too poofy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mr. Kim met us upon our arrival, not just the first day, but each day as we returned from our day of sightseeing. He made sure everything was going well and offered recommendations whenever we needed them. The room (Luna) was very nice, with plenty of space for our family of five to spread out. Use Naver (not Waze) to find it, as Waze stops directing you on the main road, but there are a few back roads that Naver will guide you on to help you find it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Beginning with Mr. Kim's hospitality, surely the best host we've ever met. He added us so much! He introduced us to the main points of the city and we still had the opportunity to learn a bit about Korean culture. And the house is wonderful! All done with love. We would love to stay longer, but we will return one day again. Korea became even more special after we met him. Gamsahamnida!
Cons: Nothing, everything is perfect!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location for sightseeing and restaurants, yet in a calm setting surrounded by nature. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated.
Cons: Parking is a bit hairy; approach is a steep slope and there is only a limited number of spots available. Our room was on the first floor, so that means carrying up suitcases etc. The bathroom would benefit from a shower curtain or something else to avoid getting the whole room wet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was such a nice and helpful family!!! The house is situated near a wonderful restaurant and just the best coffee house in Korea! Just a few minutes walking to the nr 10/11 bus which brings you to all the famous places.

Cons: Very convenient to express bus station (great for late arrivals, early morning departures), but a bit more of a walk to the old part of town with the hanoks and cute restaurants (10 min) Some establishments in the neighborhood seem a bit racy, but there were always people/familes about so I felt very safe.

Pros: Fab hotel within walking distance to some of the best sights in the town and also close to the shopping district. It’s on a quiet road and the rooms are really lovely. Great value for money! And really lovely staff who are keen to help!
Cons: There’s nothing negative about this hotel - I’m just sorry we couldn’t stay for longer!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: New hotel, clean efficient , well-located and comfortable. Friendly staff! Good value!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location! Five minutes walk from the station! The room is big, ,clean and good maintained! Price is cheap!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location. Clean Nice hotel. Nice staff. Wifi per room. Bicycle rent around the corner. Close to bus station and train station.
Cons: I suspect this hotel also serves as a love hotel looking at the plastic layer in te bed. Was slightly uncomfortable since it did not breathe. Apart from that and the tissues besides the bed it looked like a perfectly normal hotel room. Everything was super clean too, but you have to be ok with this. Breakfast was super basic but also cheap.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was the best place I have ever stayed at in Korea for a holiday break. I really was quiet, warm, comfortable and so relaxing. The hosts were excellent. We were able to barbeque by ourselves after they prepared all the food for us. It is remotely situated, about 20 minutes drive from Gyeongju, into the mountains (and in a national park), so it is the perfect get away from the busy city. It is an excellent place for families as well, as there are facilities to be able to cook for yourself. Our children could play outside, with lots of furry animals to keep them entertained! Another excellent quality was how clean it was upon our arrival. I was really surprised, the linen and bedding was freshly washed and smelled so good. The café is also one of the best deals of this pension, we were able to eat a delicious breakfast with a lit fire in the wooden cabin. Truly a five star experience!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner Mr Huang and his wife. He collected us from the bus station and also took us on a walking trip up a nearby mountain which was spectacular. Although a lovely location for walking it is a long way from the sites in Gyeongjui with no public transport.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The house is located far from everything in the middle of the nature and it’s cool but is better go there with car. I suggest you to bring food to cook so you can be more free to choiche

Cons: The breakfast and the room was next to the lift
10.0 Excellent

It was replenished frequently as guests attended the dinig room. Coffee machine and filtered hot and cold water available 24/7. You couold even make a snadwich for your lunch from the breakfast supplies ifyou wanted to .
Cons: Nothing to add.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great in a really interesting part of town, 10-15 mins walk to the town centre and 2 mins walk to the bus station. Room was spacious and comfortable and really clean. Would recommend this hotel.
Cons: WiFi was poor in the room (6th floor).

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location fantastic - near the bus/coach station so easy transport around the city. Also got a free lift to the KTX train station when we left - unexpected and very much appreciated - a big thank you to the owners! This service seems to be laid on if you spend more than 3 nights ta the hotel.
Cons: Breakfast is basic but good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: By far, the best Hotel we had in Korea (and we had few). The first contact was not so great as the front desk guy just said that our room is not ready and we can leave the bags - then wandered off. But the evening guy was OK and afterwards we had no troubles checking-in/out. Spacious room with a big TV and a queen size bed. Toilette so you can do some make-up. Toilet separated from the bathtub - which was with a hydro massage option. Fridge with a free face mask and some small drinks. View from the window was not all that great but we didn't cared about it. Breakfast was a typical one (like in all Korea) but in addition we had a salad and some yoghurt - which was a nice surprise. Location is near bus terminal, but you don't hear any noise from it. All in all, we were sad that we only stayed there for one night. Recommended.
Cons: nothing

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We got an upgrade for free! :) There was a computer for guest use in the lobby, the room was big and had many amenities (hair dryer, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, fridge...), everything was clean
Cons: The bathroom was a little dated and there’s no bell in the lobby area to ring for the owner, so we had to wait a little. The most annoying thing however was the harsh lighting in the room, which is kind of like neon tubes: very bright and cold. So having the lights on was not very cozy - maybe the lightbulbs could be changed to a warmer, yellow light
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The guy who checked us in was very welcoming and told us all the local sights of interest and the best ways to get there etc. Really great location so close to so many sights and the bus to get to things further out of town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed only one night. But i wish I could stay longer. The host was really nice to me. Helped to reserve train ticket, and call the service center to make sure sure some imfo. And i left my luggage there for a long time. Good location. Comfort faciy. Highy recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is so helpful and friendly. It just makes my stay more memorable. Location is great too! Just minutes away from the express & intercity terminal bus. There’s a good korean BBQ restaurant right across the hotel too. Overall my stay experience was pleasant
Cons: Perhaps one small downgrade was the check in time. It’s too late, check in time was 4 pm. Perhaps if the owner would reconsider to revise the check in time earlier, it would be lovely.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: it's a quiet central place, great for budget solo travellers the owner speaks English and is friendly and helpful
Cons: it's not that I don't like, but just to note: be prepared to bring/make your own breakfast; there is free coffee and a microwave, though
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We only stayed here for 1 night since we did not have a lot of time to spend in Gyeongju. The owner was extremely helpful and nice. We got upgraded to a bigger room, which was of course nice. The guesthouse is located near the bus station, and near all of the attractions in the city. It's totally worth the price and will definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a clean comfort room and good location.

Cons: Meed to English version use to hotel manual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge, clean room with a nice bathroom.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, confortable, close to Bulguksa
Cons: No key, there was no staff, you enter the room through the parking lot. Felt unsafe at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enormous and stylish room with awesome mirrors and protected private parking under the room was also great. The managing lady was super welcoming, kind and helpful. The location was close to all the great temple complexes. Soundproofing was good and the bed was big and nice. Don't let the fact that this is also used as a love motel scare you off, this is a great hotel!
Cons: The layout of the bathroom was such that the ground around the toilet always gets wet and the hottub was leaking onto the bathroom floor, but because of the drain in the floor that was no big deal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent room and staff. Jacuzzi, rain tree shower, A/C, bed, good Wi-Fi, and lighting. Hotel is is only year old. Perfect place to rest after all the sightseeing. Would stay again. Exceeded all expectations, a gem of a surprise. Room looked like the photos as advertised.
Cons: Check in time is 5 PM versus usual 2-3 PM.

Pros: The room was clean and cozy, staffs were kind and friendly, good experience to stay in traditional house
Cons: Noise from other room until late night. I guess the wall is thin I could hear the sound from other room from other bullding very clearly and loud.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I never tought that we will be given a room at the main pavalion. It was nice stay at the weekend with some cultural mini concert. The best Hanokstay ever.
Cons: NONE
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Confucian school become stay
Cons: Only one Female & Male bathroom
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What an experience! Leaving in a traditional (and beautiful!) building like this, it feels like living like Korean grandfathers and previous generations.
Cons: It won't be for sure as comfortable as a recent hotel, so when it is cold, you should be aware that you have to face the low temperature to go the the lavatories.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was so beautiful with its traditional architecture and with mountains surrounding it completely. It was as though we travelled back in time, with a courtyard and hanok rooms, and even a working well. We chanced upon a traditional singing performance in the courtyard when we arrived, which was wonderful and added to the atmosphere. The host and staff are very friendly, approachable, and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped as well. However, the bus frequency to that area was low and walking to a more accessible area would take quite a long time. It is still relatively close to many attractions in Gyeongju (which are brilliant and also brings you back in time) and taxi rides to the attraction sites or train station was only about 4000KRW. I would really love to stay here again (and for a very long time). In addition, there is a strawberry farm nearby and the smell was delightful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived late at night and the host lady was very hospitable and kind to welcome us and introduce the place. She even drove us to the KTX station to buy tickets for our trip to Seoul the next day, which made us feel very grateful. The place is very clean, beautiful and warm. We wish we could stay there more than 1 night. Definitely come back to this place when we visit Gyeongju again. It's a wonderful experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in historical buliding and excellent service:)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I was alone in the hotel. I think because there was off season period. The hotel is 2 km from city center so you would need bike to go there. Very nice historical place with a beatiful kings tombs just behind the guest house. You feel being on Korea if you stay there.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Actually, it wasn't clean at all. I have found hair which wasn't mine. And can hear lots of noise from next doors. So cannot sleep well
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hostel, clean and confortable rooms. Basic breakfast but enough. Has a kitchen that you can use as well and it is very clean. Good location, and 5 min walk from the bus station.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It had a great location and offered food in the morning (albeit you had to make it yourself). The room was also very modern and clean
Cons: The staff was mostly absent but was still available for calling
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, with large desk and chairs, and in general everything very clean. WIFI Internet was very good, even for video chat. The DIY breakfast was pretty complete. Good value for money!
Cons: There was no milk for breakfast, only coffee-solo. The staff at reception was not during morning, only from 15:00, so it did not give a feeling of total security, but was OK.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived late and left early but the breakfast was much appreciated. It is located about 5 minutes from the famous burial mounds and 1 minute from the bus station so it couldn’t be better placed.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The name of the hotel is true to its word, we had the best sleep here. Staying here was smooth and fuss-free. Simple DIY breakfast was a great way to start the day. The location was close and walkable to many sites, while the room was a great size, clean with all the usual accessories. I had some personal drama where the host has kindly helped me with, the communication has been great. Many thanks for taking care of us during our stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: good location, friendly people, clean
Cons: breakfast is a bit chaotic and limited
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really helpfull and nice. The room was very clean and tidy. The location is great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and toilet was spacious. 3 bottles of water and fresh towels daily. I had a room on the first floor, which was a pleasant surprise. He even guided me using a self prepped map. The location is fabulous. Easy to get there via bus from ktx and to travel to other cities via intercity terminal. (If you enjoy walking), all except Bulguksa and Bomun lake, were within a walking circle.
Cons: Perhaps to check the expiry date for the toilet amenities?
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff speaks English! (this is something rarely seen in South Korea :-) Willingness of staff to guide us around and explain all interesting places in city
Cons: small rooms that looks better on pictures than in reality. but as we stayed in hotel just to sleep over, it was ok.

Pros: Convenient location near bus station and coin laundry. DIY breakfast supplies, including eggs.
Cons: Very small rooms!
6.8 Good
Pros: The bathroom was spacious and clean
Cons: Breakfast should not be included in the description for this establishment. There was no coffee. It appeared that there were raw eggs you could fry and white bread with jelly. No utensils were provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, near bus express terminal
Cons: nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Pleasant owner, bright decor, located quite centrally on bus routes to the sites
Cons: Fairly expensive for a guest house. Breakfast was cook your own, which is standard, but there was only one pan and two toasters. Self-fried eggs were the only kind on offer- why not offer some pre-boiled ones? That would also mean less queueing for the pan. Only white bread available-and no butter or spread. No proper coffee on offer- only sachets of instant.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The guesthouse is located near the great sightseeing locations of Gyeongju. I really liked this guesthouse, especially because of the owners, who did their best in trying to understand me when I needed some advice and help.

Pros: Gyeongju Happy Village was a great memorable place to stay. The traditional house was beautiful and my daughter and I really enjoyed it. You could see the tombs from our room and it was very beautiful and peaceful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the design and the hosts.
Cons: The futon was thin compared with other we tried before.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were so friendly and helped us in any case. Our room was very clean and we could even have our breakfast right in front of the room outside - that was really nice. I can really recommend this place to have a great and traditional experience in a hotel in Gyeongju.
Cons: Nothing to mention.
6.0 Good
Pros: The guest house is located in a streets like Insadong in Gyongju, many restaurants and cafes are around, nice to take a walk.
Cons: Awful customer service! We took a taxi from Busan, had hard time finding this place as the address nor the name of the place was coming up in the GPS. Called the guest house asking for direction, we were given brief instruction "next to dosolmaeul". It wasn't next to dosolmaeul, was further down after cafe. The taxi driver and we had to get off and asking for this place from different direction. When we arrived, the owner kept insisting us to pay cash. As we were coming from jeju, we were bit tired didn't feel like to walk and do another search of bank/ATM especially with their simple road guidance. Ended up paying cash but realized it was friday late afternoon and we needed currency exchange. We were heading to seoul the next day so we needed to reserve some cash with us as well so I asked for money back and paid with credit card. The lady suddenly appeared upset and her attitude changed, remained upset till we checked out. At breakfast, they served bread, jam, boiled egg, slices of fruits with hot water, instant coffee, tea and juice. Very simple breakfast. My grown up kid took 4 eggs and she came up to us and mentioned that he took more than what he is allowed, then sat right next to us throighout meal, not talking to us. No conversation. It was so awkward my husband initiated some conversation. After breakfast, went to get coffee refill, she did not like it at all. Dozen of egg cost $3, whole jar of instant maxim coffe cost $4? It was also raining in the morning, we weren't sure which is faster to get to terminal so asked the owner. Received an instruction 'turn left, right and right to get on to bus to go terminal' decided to take taxi, she told us not to bring the taxi to the door but to walk out to the street to meet taxi, on a rainy morning. We had hotels calling taxi for us in Seoul, guiding us to taxi and even getting the door for us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The architecture of the hanok buildings is fantastic. Beautifully built with a very nice garden and a superb location. You can literally see the mounds from the breakfast table. Also the communication with the owner was great and he helped us sort out and additional surprise guest. We can certainly recommend this place for one or two nights while visiting Gyeongju.
Cons: Breakfast was not bad as such but nothing to write home about either.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel, clean and very attentive. Fantastic experience.
6.3 Good
Pros: Owners were very nice! Very good location.
Cons: Overal was a ok stay but the toilet was in need of cleaning big time. The toilet was not cleaned properly after the previous guest left. You pay fir the location but it did not meet my expectation. Too expensive for what it is!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good place to stay if you like it traditional .Nice and clean .Breackfast ok .would stay again .If you come with your car be aware you have no parking on the compound .Allow 3 to 5 min walk . The owners and staff are very friendly .
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and the rooms are beautifully built in a traditional Korean way.
Cons: I expected a bit more service. Seems like the host is doing this part-time and I expected hotel quality service but it was more a Bed and Breakfast experience. There were a lot of small things that ad up together. From no space to eat breakfast to not enough towels or bedding. All was solved but the service was not really proactive. Just seems a bit much for the host to manage it all.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was fantastic, very close to all historical sites in the city. It was relatively easy to find, although the owners didn't communicate in advance so when I walked in, I had to look for them to check in. They are running a few businesses there and the area has two two-story houses that are rented. It's smack in the middle of business development area, so there are many cafes and restaurants around.
Cons: Room walls are paper thin, and noise carries through entire building from the street. Not for people who are light sleepers as you'll be awake for good portion of the night and early in the morning. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special and limited. There is no Korean cuisine options. A bit disappointing. Also, breakfast is only for about 1.5 hour (from 8-9:30am) so you are not able to sleep in. Bathroom is the same as toilet, so if you take shower, everything gets wet all over the place. The bed is a simple 2 cm think sponge that feels like you are literally sleeping on a hard floor. Aches next day are guaranteed! No guidance on places to see, no maps, no information from the hosts.

Pros: It has great location and beautiful surroundings
Cons: You pay for using swimming pool separately and it is very expensive for summer season.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Most of the restaurants were closed, despite advertisements on the hotel room TV.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff at check-in and guest service! Our family room was very spacious and offered enough room for a family of 4. Perefect place to see the Cherry Blossoms.
Cons: It is a little far from downtown and the sights. You have to use a taxi to go around. Breakfast was very busy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kind staff, a family friendly swimming pool and comfortable beds. The hotel prepares breakfast for kids as well. Organized well for a family with kids.
Cons: Wating for check in and check out was not a pleasant experience...
5.5 Okay
Pros: nice view but nothing more
Cons: I have never been to a Hilton that makes you pay 23 pounds per person per day to use the swimming pool. That is disgusting. No where does it state on booking.com or Hilton website that you have to pay extra for the swimming pool. The room was expensive for what you got which is an average bedroom. No breakfast, below standard shower, uncomfortable pillows. We only went for 2 nights and even if we wanted to pay 46 pounds on the second day the pool was closed all day. No compensation nothing. I would never stay there again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hilton quality with Asian service say it all. Hugely popular with families. Plenty of restaurants to chooz from. This is our third time here, and still loving the hilton, except at breakfast time
Cons: Breakfast time is like eating in the street, so so so crowded, although the variety of food is widely offered
