The lake and area is beautiful, nice lake view from room The carpet is worn and very dirty. Beds are hard, but that might be a cultural preference.
the enviroment, peace, nature and fresh air The hotel was a little bit too far from the city center
The staff was very nice, but not that helpful. The location was good for being in the Bomunho Lake are. The breakfast buffet was very overpriced and they had no other breakfast options while I was staying there. Other hotels in the area had much better options for breakfast. The Bomunho Lake area didn't have much except hotels. It's only a 15min. taxi ride to Gyeongju city, but staying in the city might be better because it's closer to sights, restaurants, and there's more to do and see there.
Okay, rooms a little dark and not very modern. Average breakfast. Good price. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Good location near to neighbouring temple. Furnitures & room a bit outdated, but fine overall. Confortable bed, silent surroundings, magnificent views.
Staff very friendly - position in a very beautiful location The hotel needs a thorough restauration - especially the bath - rooms
+++ Free portable WiFi hotspot (this is an amazing perk) + Free coffee + Free self-service laundry + Free bottled water and Korean juices + Friendly staff + Good location - several minutes walking from Express Bus Terminal --- Sono Hotel is not a hotel - it is a motel - Beds were very thin - Staff spoke little to no English
The room we had was simply wonderfully decorated. It had a balcony which opens to the back garden. The location is absolutely quiet in a residential area (village) out of the town of Gyeongju. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Mountain-bikes are free-of-charge. You can do lovely bike-trips from there. A number of local restaurants are within biking/driving distance, but too far to walk. But you can use the kitchen facilities provided in the room. The place offers free pick-up service from Bus-or Train-Station in Gyeongju. Dinner and breakfast is offered at extra charge, but we considered the price far too high. There is absolutely no space or place to leave your clothes anywhere in the room. But this is typical for Korea not specifically for this place. The back garden is beautiful, but at night it is lit by lamps with about 10.000 Watts. You can ask the staff to turn it off though.
.Korean pork barbecue dinner -taejigoki prepared by the staff person Cabbie did not know where it was exactly since it was a new establishment.
