It was right downtown so handy to see around the city. The rooms were very clean. It was nice to have breakfast included.
It was very old and hallways and common areas needed a good cleaning. There were things like loose toilet seat and bathroom door practically jumping off hinges when you closed it that are pretty easy fixes and should be done. We also specifically phoned the Inn to request a ground floor room due to mobility issues. We were assured this was available but upon arriving found it was not and person answering phone had on our reservation “first floor” preferred. We did not stay the second night even though we paid for it.
Location; the hotel is situated centrally, allowing convenient travel via walking to most of the interesting parts of the city and plenty of choices for dining.
There are no safety/security mechanisms in the hotel room(i.e., safe) and very little on the premises, outside and inside. Non-guests can have easy access into the hotel without any notice by the front desk and/or hotel staff. No elevator to the upper floors.
Staff were friendly & helpful
Television never worked & lighting poor in room
> good location for a walk towards downtown > friendly staff with recommendations
> building is really old and partially smelly > the bed was not comfortable
Bedding did not fit bed. Black mould in corners of tub. Carpet dirty. Just didn’t feel clean
