Make sure you are in time for pickup the vehicle and call ahead if you are not !!! Also make sure your fuel gage shows that the tank is 100% full even the gas pump nozzle is shutting the distributor off …. Be patient with filling the gas if not you need to pay big premium at the rental office… Otherwise Halifax is the great place to rent a car !!!

Halifax is a beautiful area. It is best to stay away from the harbour with a rental so parking and walking may be a preferred mode of transportation. Shopping options are great at the local malls and stores. We also enjoyed exploring the province and bravely ventured to PEI across the Confederation Bridge. Road signs were effective at guiding this longer excursion.

Good service once the office was found but very very difficult to find it. Address provided for Enterprise (2000 Garrison) is a large office building with no reception. Nowhere was any indication of Enterprise (close to elevator, whatsoever). Asked construction workers in the hallway and they told me to take elevator go up one floor and cross a glass door... Did so and was facing a stairway leading to ???? Finally a worker from the building told me how to reach the office but through the storey garage. Saw an empty mini-glassed room with a desk...noone there, no sign or directions to reach someone. Waited some 10 minutes there thinking the employee was probably delivering a vehicule...there were vehicules all around. Noticed a man leaning on aa wall and playing with his cell. I had walked beside him when looking for office. Got closer...noticed the enterprise logo on his jacket. Asked him where was the office. He took me there... was NOT easily reachable. When I told the young man Said at the counter how it turned out to be a challenge to find their office, he laughed and told me they knew and that it was easier to find through the foodcourt of the building. Well...DIRECTIONS TO FIND ENTERPRISE OFFICE EASILY FOR PICK-UP is definetely a problem they need to fix. They did not have the SUV I had reserved/requested (Ford Escape) but offered a Toyota Rav4...which is better in my opinion. The ride was nice. Return of the vehicule was easy.

I made a reservation for a Chevy Silverado 1500 truck or similar, and it was not available. They offered me other cars but it was not what I needed. I will not rent with this company again, I lost valuable time.

Could not rent the car as I did not have physical D/L. I had a digital Diver’s License as provided by the State of Louisiana, It is all that one is required to have as it contains all information, the original photo on the physical DL, and the QR code for scanning as well. Despite having this, along with a passport, and other forms of official ID, I could not rent the car and I could not cancel my reservation to receive a refund. Everyone reaches out when you seek to rent, but no one is readily available if there is an issue.

First I was quotesd by Kayak for ~$176 for the car, then I was quoted $256 at Alamo, then I was charged $356 by the end even though I fulfilled the contract agreement.
came 1h aerlier and they counter guy tried to scam us into getting upgrade for extra money then he would give us car. otherwise wait exactly 1h. our car was already on the parking not in busy season. every other place really never was so cheap to not give a car 1h earlier - we are not paying by hours we paying for full days. absolutely terrible attitute
