Service was great and very helpful. Value for the money -- this is a standard Hilton Garden hotel and the location is good if you're there for OSU, but you definitely pay for that convenience.
The Corvallis Hilton is a very nice facility with a very nice location next to the Oregon State University Campus which is walking distance from Reser Stadium and Gill Coliseum. The bed was very firm. So much so that it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. There is no continental breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet but it was fairly expensive.
Close to the college, close to downtown, walking distance of lots of restaurants and grocery store. Clean, friendly staff, amazing rates! Nothing fancy, modernizing all the time. WIll chose it every time i visit my daughter at OSU. If I HAVE TO say something I didn't like, I would say the bathroom is tiny.
It was a good value. Clean. Good location. Friendly staff. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.
Downtown. Street people wandering around. Inhospitable staff. Dirty carpet. Had to ask for fresh linen each day.
Questionable clientele. I think tweakers were staying next door. Pretty much a sketchy dump...
Main, heart of city location near close by facilities. Everything served for value in relationship to cost.
Bed was comfortable, sheets were decent. Everything. It's a DUMP!!!! And ridiculously expensive, $250 a night!!!! NO nightstands, nasty old carpet, dingy and dark room. In the middle of the night the toilet tank completely broke, water all over the floor and inch deep, carpet outside the bathroom got wet. We didn't have a toilet for 6 hours, they didn't even offer us a discounted rate. Don't ever ever ever stay here!!!!!
Clean and comfy in a convenient location. Good value for money.
Very clean and the rooms were nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The front desk staff were down to earth and very helpful.
ProffessionalNd courtuous reception staff. Spacious facility. Plenty of parking space. Very decent lobby Cold coffee in the reception area
The staff was truly wonderful!
Good breakfast, nice facilities and staff. Stayed two nights and there was no maid service. The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy. Shower head was really high.
It was located at one end of the wonderful river-front district with great restaurants and brew pubs within an easy walk. We actually walked through town and around OSU from the hotel, and back to OSU for a football game, so it IS within walking distance of almost everything. The front desk staff was courteous, helpful, and professional. This hotel is extremely dated given that it is not, in my opinion, inexpensive. Vinyl bathroom floor has cuts and breaks, carpet is old, beds & furnishings are old. The halls smell very musty and of stale cigarette smoke. I think this may be fairly standard for this college town because of the demand during special events. When I visit Corvallis in a few months, I plan on staying farther out of town for significantly less money.
Chose this specific facility in Corvallis because of a) the price, and b) the indoor pool for my 4 year old. The room appeared clean, but as I spent a little time there, I noticed things that needed attention such as the hook on the back of the bathroom door that was loose. When I took my socks off after walking around the room in them for a while, they were filthy on the bottoms. The pool is an indoor pool, but feels like it is not a heated indoor pool.
Convenient location convenient location and parking. Breakfast could hardly be called that. A make it your self waffle, and no protein dish. Using Wi-Fi was much slower than keeping it turned off.
Grew up in Corvallis. Their for 50th High School Reunion.
Breakfast area was not attended and most everything was out when we got there..
Location. Close to OSU. Non smoking room right next door to a smoking room. Therefore room smelled like cigarettes.
Katie, the property manager was very responsive and took care of our concerns. The other staff, Ron, didn't care to address our needs. Two issues 1) The keys to the room did not work. We were told no other rooms were available as an alternative. And we were asked to to wait for 24 hours until the issue would be fixed. We had to ask the front desk staff to let us in the room every-time. The issue was fixed after a day. 2) We requested and booked a non-smoking room. But was provided with a smoking room that was morphed into a non-smoking room. Horrible smell in the room.
Clean & great value! The bed was springy.
close to where I was working. Sheets clean. I had a ground floor room and the carpet looked like it had never been replaced ever. I made sure my flip flops were ever near so I never had to step on it.. Gave the room a mustee smell. AC worked but didn't look like it had been cleaned. Wondered about the filter.
Staff is not much friendly
Great location nice hotel Nothing

Decent breakfast, nice beds and comforters
TJ The snacks in the lobby was such a nice surprise, especially when you're traveling with children. The gentleman who checked us in when we arrived Friday evening was so nice and friendly and welcoming - very positive first impression. The lady who works the hotel's breakfast service was a little odd. She seemed to hover and be overly involved with guests for my taste.
Cleanliness, location View from my room was dumpster

Nice clean room, good Wi-Fi, good selection of TV channels, and a reasonably good breakfast. Restaurants and shopping are close by.
location, breakfast, comfy beds and balcony Could hear people everything in room above mine
The room was pretty big, the bedding was nicely done, and the bed was comfortable. the decor is a bit dated (especially the ceiling), the washroom layout was a bit weird (sink area was outside the washroom. It's also one of those shower/bath combos which I find very weird. Do people actually take baths at a hotel?
The staff helped me find a Veteran's Day celebration to participate in. The staff was wonderful, kind and thoughtful! No
Clean, comfortable and good access to city. Quiet at night. No complaints
The room I had was very nicely sized and furnished. It seemed well maintained and clean. However very borderline 2-1/2 star, more like 2. I felt like I was getting kicked out. Phone call at 9 to see if I was gone, then a knock an hour later to check. 11:00 checkout. Please respect that. I'm use to the hotel breakfasts with my travel. It was awful. Cold eggs & potatoes, seemingly day old.
Rooms are very comfortable, with high-quality linens, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker etc. Spotless indoor spa & heated pool. Nice staff, and loved the breakfast bar & late night cookies!
We stayed here based in part on other ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE reviews, and mostly liked the hotel very much. Our mattresses, however, were of obviously low quality. Graunch, squeak, wobble ... that is what happens anytime you move the slightest amount. I woke up with a backache every day. There may not be any better choices in Corvallis though, as the town isn't exactly chock full of hotels. Other than the mattress complaint, things were great. The included breakfast is much better than at many hotels, the staff was great and the rooms were very clean. Four stars in all.
This hotel was by far the best in Oregon. We spent a week and stayed at three other hotels that were more expensive and were not in this league at all. The hotel rates were excellent, the room very clean and we felt very secure. The view of the river was a plus. We will stay there again.
My first choice in motels in Corvallis is the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are spacious, always clean and quiet, and the beds are the best! We also appreciated the recliner for those of us who like to sit up and read or watch TV. The desk staff are always friendly and helpful, particularly for guests who need good directions. Any requests made to the front desk were answered politely and professionally. The breakfast selections are fairly standard fare, but good. The river view is a plus, but this site is a winner whether the room is on the street side or river side. Corvallis is a college town, so advanced reservations are important, particularly during football season!
We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was very good.. The breakfast alone had to save us at least $40 a day in food expense. We really enjoyed our stay, and will totally return again. Thank you Holiday Inn Express.
Conveniently located. Pretty property, nice staff. Enjoyed our stay immensely!
I was expecting a continental breakfast, and was surprised to see bacon, eggs, and many more items offered, a nice surprise for sure! We have stayed here twice on weekend visits and have always had tremendous service.
Excellent service. Great location near downtown, major roads, restaurants and pubs, and walking distance to OSU campus, and a great view over the Willamette River. Wonderful hot breakfast, cookies and peanut butter sandwiches every evening, all included. Rate is on the high end for Corvallis but entirely reasonable.
Hotel overall was very clean. The receptionist was very attentive and had me checked in very quick. The beds were extremely comfortable, room was clean and odor free. Had a nice view of the river which I did not expect. The hotel is close to banks, grocery store, and various restaurants. I will definitely stay when I'm back in town.
We have been staying at this hotel once a year, for 4 years. We love it. Very clean and the best staff you will ever find. Love the view of the river! AND..the cookies and P&B sandwitches at the end of the night. This year we were there for the 4th of July. The fireworks the city put on were right above us. The hotel staff provided kids with glow sticks and sidewalk chalck plus, ice cream sundae's. So much fun
The beds were comfortable, the pillows were soft. The room was warm, clean and perfect for our needs. The add promised a microwave and a mini fridge. Our room had neither
I gave one star because the floors creaked from the rooms above And all you heard was squeak, squeak ALL night. Plus rooms are Very dated.
Pets stay free Dirty and in desperate need of upgrades
It was in the town I was visiting Very dated. For the same price you can find hotels that are updated and serve a breakfast that is more than an apple and a cup of coffee.
The hotel was close to the aquatic center where my daughter's swim meet was being held. The hotel itself is filthy. I took several photos which I plan on sharing with Days Inn/Wyndham. I am in shock that the health department hasn't been notified. The pictures and online marketing were grossly misleading, and we didn't even feel comfortable taking off our shoes. There were ants in our bed, the faucets leaked, the halls had an overwhelming smell of stale urine, and the so-called continental breakfast was ridiculous at best. Do not waste your money.
Terrifically helpful desk staff. I had come to town to enroll my son in the university. Staff told me not only info I requested, but offered things like the free bus service, local stores for students and other helpful hints. He was a highlight of the trip Terrible continental breakfast. Hot water was tepid. Wafflemaker was not hot enough to crisp the waffle. No protein options ie yogurt or hard boiled egg. Just cheap tasteless carbs. Unable to adjust too hot heat in room. Had to open window and hear traffic all night. Too expensive for a basic albeit clean room. No amentities like a shower cap.
Staff were friendly and accomdating for a young family. I was traveling with a newborn, and the staff allowed me late checkout to finish feeding my son. The fridge was good for storing milk. Staff made sure my sister and her two kids were in next room over. They also had a good experience. My sister is 5 months pregnant, and she liked the selection at breakfast and thought the bed was comfortable. Good hotel location! Only 1 trash can in the entire room.
The location was perfect for my needs- close to downtown and easy access to the road to Albany. The room was clean and there was cable t.v., and good water pressure in the shower. Nothing special to speak of, but a decent, budget-type hotel that works for business trips. The t.v. didn't work quite right- always scrambling before accepting a new channel. The internet only worked 50% of the time. There was a dirty hand rag left in my shower from the previous guest that was left by staff. The security lock/latch on my door was broken in half, so it basically provided me no security. The door looked as if it had been kicked in at some point. The bed was decent, but not super comfortable. The air conditioning unit is LOUD, so loud I had to turn it off just so I could get some sleep. Staff was moderately friendly, but when I mentioned that the door latch was broken, the response was lukewarm as if it didn't really matter to them.
It was very clean, the rooms and lobby looked freshly painted. The bed was comfortable. The decor and amenities were spartan: no art, no tissue in the room. There was a minimal amount of covers on the bed and I had to ask for more. There was no wine opener at the desk for guests to use so I walked across the street to Trader Joes and bought one for me and one for their desk for $1.99 each. The hotel had signs saying they were environmentally minded so reuse your towels yet they only had styrafoam cups for coffee in the room and the dining area. It was a very affordable stay but a couple of small touches as listed below would have made my stay better.
Check in/out was easy. Also, my room and the facility overall seemed reasonable clean and taken care of.
Looking for a simple motel to sleep with no frills and a cheap price, this is the place. Skip the breakfast of coffee flavoured water and generic Twinkies. At the cheap price of the motel, eat some place local, several choices within walking distance.
Hotel was an older model but our room was very clean. It would not have have been our first choice given its proximity to local RR tracks but given the time of day we were glad to have a place to stay.
Rooms were clean An RV trailer park shared the same parking lot, which had large stinky dumpsters with bee's & fly's buzzing around.
Although it is an older facility, it has been updated and very, very clean.
I stayed two nights and had a great sleep both nights.
