Pros: This bed and breakfast was adorable! Our room was spacious, cozy, and gorgeously decorated. The food was fantastic (homemade cookies, fresh fruit, delicious quiche). My fiance and I had a fabulous time, at a fabulous price! We can't wait to go back!
Pros: Everything, what a fabulous place to stay. Thanks for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home.

Cons: entire hotel needs new carpeting

Pros: This hotel was very clean, quiet and the amenities were great. Pool area was very nice and clean.
Pros: The pool was nice and some staff I interacted with were friendly. It was the only place available in the middle of nowhere which was helpful.
Cons: The room was a little dirty, specifically the bathroom. The tiles were old and a little moldy. There were hairs in the shower and the bathroom door hit the toilet seat when it opened/closed. It wasn't the worst place ever but not worth the price.
Pros: Excellent location for our purposes.
Cons: Breakfast was not that good. Bagels, muffins, etc did not seem fresh.
Pros: Very nice new hotel. Very clean.
Cons: Need a channel guide for the TV.
Pros: We travelled from AZ to OH for daughter's baby shower. We brought a trailer of presents and needed to wrap. They let us use a meeting room to do that. Really helped.
Pros: Hotel was clean and everything was within reach.
Cons: horrible place, noise late in to the night, people staying there are not you average travelers, younger people standing around auguring, big sign when you walk in - no guns!, sign in room - don't steal the pillows, what kind of people does this hotel ....
Cons: Staff on Saturday night 3/12 was very rude!!
Pros: Kinda bummed this time too,you should take one nights charge off the bill, Thank you
Cons: The heat stopped working halfway thru the night, than the next morning to take a shower,it took the hot water about fifteen to get to the shower, real nice ,same thing happened a few weeks back, get maintenance too check all rooms before letting guest in
Pros: The location
Cons: The staff was rude and not efficient. The hotel rooms smelled of smoke and the hotel did nothing when I informed them. The breakfast items that should have been warm were cold. Worst hotel experience ever.
Pros: It was nice and quiet, close to the Buckeye Lake Brewery and that's the most important thing.

Cons: Bathtub did not drain well. Breakfast was Spartan.
Pros: Cost & location.
Cons: Air conditioning inop. Housekeeping dosen't restock soap, shampoo, cups, etc. on consecutive night stays. Room very dusty with cob webs. Does not appear to ever get thorough vacuum. Bathroom shower and floor dirty and worn out
Pros: It was clean but smelled like old we smoke.
Cons: It's in the middle of no where.
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: The room should have been cleaner. Had cigarettes burn holes in the comforter in the non smoking room, and my 2 year old got his hand into melted chocolate under the bed. The room looks outdated, and the painter should be fired.
Cons: my non smoking room smell like smoke, hallways smell like a dirty ash tray, they was a hole outside of the bathroom look like they were working on the tub plumbing
Pros: Convenient location and price was right. Night Staff was excellent
Cons: Hotel is somewhat dated.
Cons: hotel was filthy...the outside...the lobby....and our room was nasty!!!!
Pros: the price but u get what u pay for.
Cons: The hallways smelled like urnine, the room had been smoked in, the air conditioning/heater didn't work. Overall I would and will never stay there again
Cons: This is the secomd time we have visited this hotel. Same experience both times at the bar...not very friendly or service oriented. I get the sense they don't enjoy hospitality. The check in staff was very friendly but slow response for check in. Room was not available and communication between staff was minimal in terms of getting room ready.
Pros: Big, beautiful rooms and an easy, peaceful atmosphere. The double queens room was bigger than anything we've stayed in recently and had a large fridge and a crib for our baby boy, which was perfect.
Cons: The hotel seems a bit run-down in some ways: the spa is closed for good, the rooms have a "room service" menu but when you call by phone, nothing is available so actually they'd be better off advertising that they just don't have room service; the front desk doesn't answer the phones very well.
Pros: Staff was friendly; pool and water park were lovely
Cons: Rooms smelled damp; curtains were moth eaten
Cons: Front desk: took a lot of time to check in and there was no one else.
Old fashioned building
No breakfast on site
When visiting Newark, Cherry Valley Lodge is a great choice to consider. After hanging out at the water park or indoor pool, guests can grab a bite to eat at Sunflowers Restaurant, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer refrigerators and room service.
Cons: Room was acceptable upon arrival door didn't latch or lock well and I could hear EVERYTHING through the door, window and walls. The second day, upon my return my key did not work and once fixed, I returned to a room that didn't get cleaned even though I specifically requested it be cleaned and I had no clean towels and the sink had leaked on the bathroom floor. I phoned for clean towels and the man at the front desk told me he didn't know where to find them and that none of the rooms got cleaned. Stay some place else and avoid the mess!!!
Pros: This hotel was not terrible, but I expected more based on the reviews.
But it was clean and the price was right.
Cons: The place felt very tired. All the features were worn and cheap (plastic faucets, toilet runs, carpet worn). It is in dire need of a good upgrade.
Cons: Didn't have my reservation, place is old and under construction. Went to 3 rooms to find one acceptable
Cons: Me cobraron doble y aún no me han reembolsado el dinero
Pros: There was really nothing to like about this hotel
Cons: We had drug deals going on right outside our room door. The room was dirty, there were cigarette burns all over the bath tub. This hotel should be condemned.
Pros: Accessability to my destination.
Cons: no phone
Pros: The shower was amazing and the bed was comfortable. It worked for me because I just needed a cheap place to get some rest.
Cons: It was very dingy and dirty. On the outside it looked like it was abandoned and the inside of the room was not in the best shape.
Pros: I like the location of the hotel it is right in the middle of everything. Shopping , food , gas , etc.
Cons: The hotel is filled with bed bugs , I had to be moved from my room to a different one that then the bath tub leaked water wouldnt plug so you had to take showers. The room was dirty. The staff & owner was rude, they lied & blamed guests for issues.
Cons: This was the worst experience I have ever had
Pros: Staff was polite but did not follow through with request. Had to go to office and ask for clean sheets twice. Sheets were wrinkled and dirty.
Cons: Room was filthy - layers of dirt. Had to go get clean sheets. Bathroom light bulb not working. shower rod bent and dangling curtain. Phone cord was damaged and info torn off phone. Food wrappers behind bed. Breakfast was coffee & white bread by toaste
Pros: The lobby was clean.
Cons: I hated everything about the hotel.. Signs of bed bugs, blood stains on the carpet, broken ac units and locks on the doors. Broken windows were taped with duct tape to keep from cracking further, dust where the tv remote used to be, but no remote.
Pros: This hotel needs help. It is old & needs work!! Not real lean. Carpets walls, bedding, etch needs help. No phone in room. Very old TV. No ice bucket, minimal towels. Pillows old & lumpy
Pros: Staff helpful in fixing issues.
Cons: Phone inoperable. Bathtub in need of repair taking 30-40 minutes to drain. Bed had no blanket. Everything old and worn. Torn tattered and missing curtain panels. Difficult to see Knights Inn sign from the street - signage says Econolodge.
