We spent an autumn-weekend at the hotel. The houses and surroundings were the best: Lovely scenery and houses from 17th - 18th century with lots of soul and history in its walls, and the rooms were wonderful with nice furniture and everything you could ask for. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and the meals were the best we ever had. Thank you for a wonderful stay...We will come back!!!
The owners are really sympathic! The place is beautiful and you don't have the impression to be in a hotel: you're lodging in a farm. The dinner is gastronomic (as well as its price). The place is a little bit far from everything. The price of the meal is too high, even for Norway and the quantities too small.
Lovely farm hotel located in queit place in mountains in a beatiful valley. Good breckfast, helpful and kind staff. Excelent place to stay with children.
Great, warm welcome, nice location, very good food
Lovely hotel, clean comfortable rooms, helpful proprietress and a bountiful breakfast, set in the quiet, under-recognized town of Vagamos, not far from Lom. Excellent starting point for many day trips, hiking in nearby mountains and parks, rafting the Sjoa river, and visiting Jostenheim national park. The peaceful town and hotel are set in a lush, beautiful valley.
Stayed only too sleep. Difficult to evaluate the hotel.
Ordinary hotel with pretty good brekfast.
Very friendly staff, good selection of breakfast and dinner. Rooms too small and a little outdated
The hotel was very pleasant and clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. The hot food although excellent, could have been hotter.
the hotel is clean, good breakfast and the staff helpful
Excellent choice and good value for money buffet breakfast and dinner as we found Norway very expensive. Liked the coffee/tea being available all day. I understand we had the cheapest deal but have to say the bathroom was very small and shabby although adequate. Toilet roll holder missing plus a leaking and worn bath.
very good price for Norway, very good location the main building was not tradditional norgesian
It was quiet, clean and close to the old town center It was overpriced for the quality of the room
Get a room towards the back. The noise from people congregating in front of the entrance can get quite loud.
Pleasant staff and good breakfast buffet. Very convenient location fro strolling out into the shopping area of Otta Oddly inadequate curtains in the bedroom. The material barely covered the windows where there were curtains at all, and some small windows had no curtains. At the height of summer this means the room is very light for sleeping, and lacks privacy
Friendly Staff. Hotel well situated to explore the Countryside and close to Railway station. Breakfast was good and there were complimentary tea/coffee and Waffles in the afternoon.
Needs to be renovated, misinformed by staff about free internet access- told at first there was none, then found a flyer in room that said 6 hrs free was available- code di;d not work at first, no tea/coffee making facilities in room, no ice machine, no fridge in room, no tissues in room- and the most expensive hotel of whole trip- other hotels in major cities offered cheaper deals over the internet- we paid 100 K more for each person than the deal posted on the front door of the hotel.
staff was nice and helpful, but rooms need badly to refurbish, bathrooms smell was not any pleasant bathrooms are not properly cleaned
bath rooms are dirty and old. Price is high conpare to the room offered. No free internet access, while it was mentioned to be possible in booking.com.
