location, triple rooms, friendly and professional staff, sauna, good value pull out bed was uncomfortable, sterile feeling, kind of dark
Good location, clean rooms.
Close to harbor and sea. Cold in room, small window in the room.
An excellent location near the city centre of Helsinki.
Helpful and responsive staff, a good bar and restaurant, very good gym that you may use any time, location (close to Market Place) cannot find anything that spoiled my stay
Comfortable and clean, staff was nice and helpful. Great breakfast. Location is nice, close to center, some nice cafes and restaurants around, and very close to Katajanokan terminal and ferries to Tallinn. The restaurant in the hotel is nothing special, better options outside.
Very close to the Viking Line ferry to Tallinn. A five to ten minute walk from the hotel to the terminal. A another short walk the other direction to the harbor excursion boats and market. Very close to the Upsinki cathedral.
Breakfast,very quiet,excellent hotel!!!!!
No towels in the bathroom, hairs in the bed.
great location in the best part of Helsinki near all central services helsinki has to offer Basic rooms , historical building but boring design,
Cleanliness of the room and the very pleasant and helpful staff
A big thanks to the bartender Heino. very professonal and very helpful. he makes you fell very welcome.
The hotel is very nice and confortable. The position is good to visit the city because it's in front of tram stop and near to the Viking Line's port. The room is really warmful and clean. The breakfast is gorgeus: there are whatever you can image for an international breakfast. Nothig
The novel idea of a hotel set within a former prison. Very nice decor
I enjoyed the feeling of authentic design; it was different, but not too much so. The restaurant was excellent.
huge bathroom, big bed narrow room
very original place, my first time in a prison. Few tram stops from town center. Good breakfast.
very special atmosphere, open terrase
A fancy place located on a lovely island close to the city centre A little bit of extra variety to the breakfast menu would be nice
This war really an interesting experience. It was my first night in a prison. I wouldn't spend a week there but its really fun for afew nights.
Staying in a old prison is a great experience and they've done it so beautifully. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is good (although the herring is really salty). The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are really nice. It's a little out of town but that's what you'd expect from a prison. It's not like they are in the center
Interesting to stay in a converted prison, keeping some the original features. Good location, there was a tram stop right outside to the city centre. I was there when it snowed. They could have sanded the flight of steps a bit earlier.
It close to a tram stop. Inside it is very beautiful and confortable, An the atmosphere is suggestive.
Comfort, silence, location
Beds were very uncomfortable, blankets couldn't even cover two people, and if you are over 5'8" (173cm), you won't even fit in the bed.
Very nice rooms, kindly staff, good position.
Size of the room. I stayed for 5 nights, but I had to pay for clean towels. No cleaning during the stay.
The kitchen was cleaned unwell. This is unacceptable!
Clean and comfortable rooms, hotel location
The size of the apartment. The comfort of the bed. The ease of picking up the keys. The 'quietness' of the apartment. I felt the equipment in the kitchen was not up to standard - there were very few utensils and what was there was fairly shabby. Also, one of the lights wasn't working.Having said that, there was nothing that would stop me from returning, at the price I paid.
We were positively surprised about the hotel; the apartment was big, clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Just perfect for a family with three small children. The balcony was also very handy for us.
apartment- no encounter withstaff. apartment was centrally located which was very handy
Staff were exceptionally hepful in finding our baggage which had been misplaced by the airline. They kept making calls and chasing it up for us. Hostel is in great location and incredibly clean. Little bit noisy- you could hear a little bit from other rooms.
Reception staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgable lack of soap in the ladies loo floor 2
A lot of information materials (broschures) by reception, kitchen possibiloty for use, shower ok, beer-garden with smoke possibility Few of dishes in the kitchen
convenient, kind hotel staff, kitten and bathroom expecially (warm floor!!), silenсe, simplicity
free sauna visit facility disrepair of the electric stove
It has the cheapest single-room in Helsinki. The budget rooms are quite old but 5 Euros cheaper. Free sauna included every day in the morning until 9.30 am. Tram directly in front of the hostel. 24h reception. Free towel. It is not a backpackers hostel. Therefore it is difficult to meet new people. The breakfast is not special for 7,70 Euros. Bathroom and shower room are not very convenient but Ok. Hostels and Hotels are expensive in Helsinki.
The room was freezing; central heating could have been better.
In the old town. Very confortable and traditional.
Beds were nice. The lamps near the bed - very comfortable to read. Late time of check-in - 14.00. For those who come from Russia on the bus - very uncomfortable, as the busses usualy come early in the morning. No tea-pot in the kitchen or in the room or at the reception. very dirty toilet!!!!! Expensive and poor breakfast. The cafe for dinner opens only at 16.00.
Great central location close to downtown and port if you plan to take the ferry for the day trip to Tallinn. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Bathrooms, which are shared for the entire floor, were a bit messy.
