comfortable large modern room with exelent view parking lot accross hotel's rather busy street
Great style and design, great breakfast, excellent beds. A good place to stay for a great price.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. And the rooms were very stylish but havinmg the car park across the road was an inconvenience and for a hotel of this standard why are there no coffee / tea facilities in the room?
Great staff and good food Still not sure about the lighting in the room - what's wrong with a simple light switch for the white lights! Although once you've worked it out the two remotes it is good fun!
Nice location. Freindly Staff. All spoke very good English.
It is a cozy and charming hotel typical of old Dutch hospitality
Lovely room , good food and friendly staff the view was mainly of the parking lot
very nice comfortable hotel in one of the most beautifull parts of Holland
Great restaurant, very nice and helpfull employees Poor internet connection, somwhat worn down bathroom
We enjoyed the location, the relaxing atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful gardens, the quiet atmosphere and the convenience of local facilities. No bath in the en-suite. No tea/coffee making facilities, although the hotel cafe/ restaurant facilities were always available.
The hotel has a new building that accommodates none smoking room. Each room has a large room, working desk, double twin bed, big bathroom with shower and bath, separate toilettes. The room a got was very clean and quite, and has free WiFi. breakfast was good.
we were staying here as we had a party nextdoor, we only spent one night in the room and next day we had our breakfast.
We stayed in new portion of hotel, friendly helpful staff, clean, great breakfast (included). We will stay again!
A family run restaurant/hotel. A 1st class restaurant that attracts people from both near and afar; and has done so for decades. Excellent friendly owners and staff. I stayed here 19yrs ago for 2 months and had many good memories, returned with wife for birthday and not disapointed
At the annex, called Linden, the rooms are a bit quaint but cozy, and the facilities are small but good. The tiny "town" of Bronkhorst has a lot of charm, as does the ferry to Brummel. There is also a direct road to Zutphen. There is an ok restaurant, but the one next door is really good (closed on Wednesdays).
The ambience and location we're great! Loved the suite
The hotel is right in the middle of the charming, storybook-like town of Bronkhorst. It is a tiny town, but there are lots of things to see, and many artisans' shops. The rooms at the hotel are decorated in a cozy, old-fashioned way. But they are clean and comfortable. The bed (old-fashioned style) was excellent.
The setting ( tiny, elegant village of Bronkhorst) was idyllic! The hotel and room decor were extremely charming. Ultra-modern bathroom. The village was like a movie set for a Jane Austen novel. The Dickens museum across the street was fascinating. Every Christmas the village does a re-enactment of Dickens' A Christmas Carol. No.
Pleasant staff. Very clean, attractive accommodation. Good restaurant and bar. Very convenient in the centre of the village. It was difficult to have a shower in the bath under the slope of the roof.
Tastfully decorated, pleasant atmosphere, staff very service oriented, beautiful surroundings nothing
Excellent dinner, nice & romantic atmosphere
Friendly but ineffecient staff. Beautiful location and surrounding countryside. Good food, well presented. Little if anything has been changed (I.E. decorated )since my last stay 5 yrs ago. Ineffecient systems of recording items charged to your room. Lack of response to problems with room facilities.
The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The village was extremely beautiful.
It was quite lovely and individual a breath of fresh air after the many chain hotels nothing would love to visit again and try all the other rooms they are all furnished and decorated individually its 500years old
Well located in the town centre with plenty of facilities nearby. The staff were welcoming and friendly Being in the town centre it was noisey as there were bars below; although this apparently only a problem on Friday and Saturday - the nights we were staying!
Very convenient for town centre. Easy to find. There's not really much more to say. Hotel faces onto the main square which was very noisy with people eating & drinking until after 02:00 on both Friday and Saturday. The hotel has no bar or restaurant although there are plenty of these in the immediate vicinity (see above).
The central position of the hotel in a very pleasant town.
Large rooms, very nice style, very clean. Great location. Staff is exceptionally friendly! Nice breakfast buffet. The style of the hotel in general, it is very cosy and individually funitured. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our entire stay. If there was any downside it was the slightly enhanced noise level during the night on weekends (the hotel is located at Doetinchem's main place), so if you are sensitive, just ask for a room facing the courtyard instead of Simonsplein.
The recomendation of the associated "Hank's Bistro"
Good location in a picturesque town. Well sign-posted once in town. Rather a lot of noise at night from bar downstairs.
So close to everything and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was quite good too. It got quite hot at night. And there are no lifts - but the staff are lovely enough to help you up the stairs which is excellent.
Basic but cheerful, friendly staff, good breakfast. Neighbouring bars and nightclubs caused some noise well into the night.
