Very good cleaning staff, reception staff and service in the bar; rooms were very comfortable and quiet The location - some way out of Marlow centre & not a pleasant walk. The restaurant was closed on the second night of our stay as there were not enough guests in the hotel. The breakfast is poor value at £16.95 - also extortionate to charge extra for espresso etc.
great atmosphere and fantastic service, the staff seemed like genuinely good people. The food was absolutely delicious.
Nice and modern hotel, very friendly staff, breakfast buffet
Comfortable large room with good facilities. Could have done with more milk & tea bags, had to ask at reception for more.
all of it apart from waiting 25 minutes for bar waiter to serve us after telling us to sit on lounges went to our room as above
Facilities, choice and long breakfast period.
Staff were really accomodating and helpful distance to walk into town or to train station, but taxis were easy enough to book and quick
Good facilities and very welcoming.
The last minute rate - would not have been able to afford it otherwise No
the rooms were very clean and comfortable.we only stayed for one night so didnt see much of the hotel, would stay there again.
It was a small local gastro pub with 4 rooms upstairs. The rooms were very well appointed, comfortable, cozy and clean. The pub atmosphere was extremely friendly as it was all locals. Very nice up-scale neighborhood. The food in the restaurant was amazing and very moderately priced. Staff was so friendly and accommodating in every way. If you can get a room - grab it.
The Location, atmosphere, pub, staff friendliness and the experience of an 'old-town' hotel. My room smelt a bit like cooking at times (it was located above the kitchen), they did provide a fan in the room for clearing the air.
Relaxing, comfortable stay A mini bar in the room and better tea/coffee facilities
Excellent dinner menu. No croissants available for breakfast, although we were the only people in the dining room.
Great position. Excellent staff and prompt friendly and efficient service.
The view, the linen and the general history of the hotel Not enough vegetarian options in the restaurant. Not for me you understand, I love a bit of meat but my girlfriend doesn't eat anything that casts a shadow so we had to go to another pub (I won't name names) where the food was horrible.
Loved the old world style of rooms Just a little bit pricy for what it is and although staff very friendly, it just needed a few more nice touches like more than 2 teabags in a room!
Great views and well decorated Over priced for size of room
Friendly staff. Nice room overlooking the river. Good breakfast menu choice. Car park on premise, quite secure and safe.Very good location. Outside traffic noise was annoying. Staff working in the corridors could be heard - very distracting.
the professionalism of the staff and the help they gave to make it a pleasure to stay there slight lack of drink selection in the bar, and although it was requested to have a bottle of wine in the room, champagne was supplied before being told the price,
Convenience of hotel for Henley. Cold room on arrival. Small room even though a double and no knowledge it would in an annex.
the position -next to the Thames Noise of airconditioning units situated outside the window. Also the bed was uncomfortable.
The location, the hotel staff and a lovely room. Breakfast not included
This is my second stay on business and i find the quality and location are excellent for leisure or business. Dissapointed that i did not have a river view room this time.
Very comfortable and stylish Nothing
Location excellent and fabulous restaurant overlooking the river. Had to move rooms as booking incorrect and room very small.
It's a great location for me and as long as you get a decent rate, not bad value. I would never pay full rate! The rooms are very comfy and there is plenty of parking. The air conditioning did not work and the room was very, very warm. Food/wine is too expensive I walked into town and found lots of better value restaurants. £2 card charge & £1 charity donation added to bill without asking.
The location and the general high standards The controller for the tv is unfathomable. Printed instructions should be provided
excellent service from /reception / restaurant /aubergine staff who were very attentative and curteous -excellent location of hotel and plenty of wildlife hotel members of staff and business people using hotel lounge for long meetings meaning paying guests cannot sit down for morning coffee l
we found the hotel very cosy, very comfortable beds a excellent breakfast and very good service.the hotel is in great location with beautiful views the lady waiting on the bar was a little unfriendly in the evening her demure came over a little bit arrogant but it didnt spoil our drink and im sure she was just been a little too professional
Location and scenery was pleasant. Cleanliness.
Luxurious, very comfortable, and relaxed. Bedroom a bit too warm at night.
Beautiful hotel and surrounds. Dinner at Adam Simmonds was a treat. Very comfortable stay. Reception staff were not very knowledgeable on vegetarian dining options, the restaurant manager was much more helpful.
No guests in restaurant
nice room, nice breakfast it was quite cold in the room
party was excellent well planned. exellent spa facilities and beautiful grounds well tended. long delay at breakfast.
The grounds were amazing, perfect to relax in the beautiful weather in. even better when sipping on a cool drink rom the bar.
The ambience - there were so many little places where you can feel free to wander in the grounds, and beautiful rooms and corners to sit in. It was comfortable, light and the spa pool was amazing. The washbasin did not drain well!
Beautiful room and view. Staff very helpful Disappointed that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and at nearly £5 for room service coffee for one, we stuck to water. Diasappointing as the room was so well presented
good location and comfortable. There was a bad noise all the way through the night- i think there was a problem with heating syste
Everything! It would have been useful to have an iron in the room
room rather small but cosy, very personal atmosphere, good breakfast - Marlow and the river are at walking distance
The hotel was in a good location. The staff were efficient, polite and friendly. Our room was just outside the dining room which was abit noisy in the morning during breakfast.
I have received very positive feedback from our customers that they enjoyed their stay. I have received feedback from our customer that they were very happy with the accommodation. The only issue I have is that we were not told that the rooms Iwere spread over more than one building. Perhaps this is sometjhing that should be advised for future reference. This was no great problem for our customer but it may have been for other possible guests.
Marlow is a lovely area Thought hotel was very expensive for size of room and location
Breakfast was good and friendly staff Noisy room on front - opposite pub on Saturday night.
Really friendly staff and very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide range. What was also good was how clean and presentable the guesthouse was both in the communial area and bedrooms. Maybe a little expensive for just one night.
within walking distance of local amenities. impersonal
Easy to check-in, clean, well-furnished room, great breakfast, friendly staff. None
Good location, walking distance to all amenities. Comfortable and clean. Off road parking. Good power shower. Good breakfast. Having a downstairs room we could hear the other residents above us quite loud especially if they came in late, this disturbed our sleep.
noise from other guests walking along coridors and closing doors disrupted ny sleep throughout the night
it was ok for the type of place there was not heating in the bathroom
ease of check in and the breakfast service was good, overall a hotel that gave good value for money lack of hotel parking
Very central location - in the town, next to the river with beautiful park and children's play area opposite. The breakfast was excellent - nothing to complain about.
Great location; lovely hotel, so different a building to the normal Premier Inns. Got a parking space right outside....sheer luck. Girl on reception was rally good; cheerful and confident even though the computer froze during the booking-in process. Room was very nice and very quiet even though facing the main road. Huge bathroom. Restaurant was good and value for money. Great breakfast. Had it all really. None
