The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the reception personnel were very friendly and helped with everything asked of them. The location is very good, in the heart of district 1, and everything is in walking distance: bars, spas, and museums.

The hotel was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The rooftop pool area was beautiful, and the spa in the basement is really nice. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and for the large part away from the bustle of the street.

The location is great, very close to markets, cafes, restaurants/bars, and shops. It's very easy to walk around day or night, and the rooftop pool is not big, but perfect for an afternoon cool off after being out in the heat.

The pool and other amenities seem to close at 6pm for reasons not specified. The restaurant and bar in the hotel were not yet re-opened, and the breakfast finished at 9am, which was a bit early for some guests.

The hotel is extremely outdated and desperately needs an upgrade. The plug socket had fallen into the wall, the shower rack was almost off the wall, and the TV had no international channels. The breakfast was basic at best, and there are definitely better hotels for the money you'll spend.
