The breakfast was okay, but very overpriced.
Great location, good to have beach towels chairs etc.
Rooms little small at times
The hotel is nicely decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful, there are some freebies in the room that come with your booking. The appearance of the hotel gives a poshy boutique experience, but the room (ocean view) was pretty basic and reminded me of a cell or hospital :D Very clean, tho!
Unfortunately, most hotels in Waikiki are old and haven't been redecorated in years, so this was probably the most modern one, which is a big plus. What disappointed us was extra fees during check-in. These called hospitality fees. I understand that every hotel has a right to have all these kind of these, but honestly I didn't think I would be charged, as in my booking.com invoice it was already listed room rate and resort fee. We only stayed for one night as we had an early flight home at 7am and besides some toiletries they provide, we haven't used any of their services. I wish they have included these fees during the booking, because when traveling from outside US, there are so many fees from our banks and not everyone is a credit card freak :(
Super cute hotel with a perfect mix of vintage Hawaii vibe and sleek, inviting modern (read: nice and clean and new). Great location by the beach (also easy access to bus to airport), clean, nice gym would absolutely return!!
I liked the way my wife (who has a mobility disability) was treated by the staff who organised a disabled room for us. The room was exceptionally clean with no stale smells or chemical masking. We loved the layout of the restaurant Duke, area and the staff, of special thanks to Dustin. Gave the feel of a resort.
There wasn't anything that was disliked. It suited our purpose, to relax in a quiet place.
